Can we find the owner of this IKEA unit. It was Delivered with my container shipment.
Movetia S.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The movers were great. They arrived early but the move was doomed from the beginning. The guy who have me the quote (I am sad to say he was a fellow vet). Did not give me the quote for a full service move. I find out literally weeks before the move his quote for ($8K+) was for me to pack my 3000 sq ft home on my own! I requested 100% packed by Mayflower.com (not Chipman), stored by Mayflower, and the unpacked by Mayflower. I had to scramble and pack, find a storage unit in TX, all on my own. The estimator did document my desire to have the kitchen packed but he underestimated the packing needed and I was asked to pay extra the day of the move (This was resolved by the move coordinator but it caused a huge delay as the truck they brought was too small due to the under estimation of household goods by their employee since they did not have enough packing material. The move took almost 12 hours even though I packed everything with all the boxes stored in the garage except the kitchen, TVs and large pictures.) I wrote the owner and never heard back from him. (great customer service) I thought he might want to know that he has an employee who cannot give an accurate quote or estimate how much manpower is needed to pack a large kitchen. In the mist of all the confusion I was never given the high value declaration form (even though I asked the second set of movers for it). My household goods were to be shipped Aug 1-8. That did not happen. They did not show up until Aug 16th. Then I find out that its not the entire load. Half of it was still in CA with no ETA. The second half arrived Labor Day weekend. Joy! My antique bed is damaged, my son's Evolution Y Fliker scooter is MIA, my steel shelving unit was broken down (without my knowledge and not reassembled) and the plastic pieces that hold it to gather a missing and are not they are useless. (They gave me someone else's cheap Ikea shoveling unit) One of the TV's they packed is not working (I was charged for three boxes but they used my TV box). I was charged for the mattresses to be packed in boxes and then unboxed. They're still in boxes) Still unpacking so I am not sure what else is missing or broken and I need to see if my treadmill survived the move. Again USE ANOTHER COMPANY No-one is responsible for their actions or inaction. This is the first move I have done that was not a military move. This was by far the worst experience out of the previous 10+ military moves. Here is the letter I wrote the day of my move July 27 , 2016 "Good afternoon Mr. Chipman: First let me apologize for reaching out to you via Linkedin with a concern but I felt compelled to give you my feedback directly. I originally contacted Mayflower for a full service (Relocation from Fairfield Ca, to Austin, TX) quote March 22, 2016. I was assigned Dan Shane. Dan was over an hour late for the appointment April 8, 2016. He was pleasant but quickly did a walk thru and said he would send me a quote. I never received the quote so I sent a follow up email and text. I accepted the quote via email April 23, 2016. April 29, 2106 Dan said he would send the e documents. I sent another follow up email May 15, 2016. the e-documents were not sent until June 23, 2016. I reviewed the documents and sent an email with questions and corrections. I assumed the person doing the estimate is a professional and that the quote would be accurate .Dan added a King bed erroneously and did not add any of the framed art, mirrors, glad toppers, etc. (The quote was revised to add 12 pictures). I asked why he did not add certain items in the house and he said I was a self pack. I corrected him And said no I requested a full-service quote (pack, transport, store, and unpack). My house was partially packed (by me) only because my home was for sale. He said he would have to come out and do another quote. The move was less than a month away, so I said I would pack everything except the kitchen, TV's, stereo and framed art. The day before the move I contacted Dan and asked what time the movers would arrive because I had not received a confirmation. Dan was quite rude. He told me to contact the Coordinator. I told him that all the emails came in his name and that he is listed as my coordinator on the my.mayflower website. The quote was erroneous which caused major problems (lack of supplies, truck too small, etc). The poor guys are still packing as I type. Dan is costing you money and is a poor reflection on your company."

Turn fabric on an ottoman.

UPDATE! I finally got the rest of my stuff at the end of August but not without damage. Furniture was scratched and stained. Fabric on furniture was torn. The dish pack, which was clearly marked FRAGILE, was compressed and some dishes were broken on the inside. A floor lamp is now lopsided. And my bicycle does not ride correctly. I also ended up with a table leg that isn't mine and a lawnmower bag that isn't mine. The movers told me to toss them out. I will post pictures of the damage. Beware of this lousy moving company. I'm serious.

My moving experience bought me to tears but there customer service is sadder

John did a great job on the estimation part of my load and gave me a idea of what the cost would be.
