This location is so inviting and fun! The staff member working that day was an absolute delight. He gave us a run down of each cookie, how long they last if you buy some and take home, etc. The cookies tasted phenomenal!

One of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! Sweet, delicious, and soft! I can't wait to try more flavors.

I came here for a little dessert since I love me some soft baked cookies. I tried two different cookies and they were really good but I don't think it justified the high price of each cookie. The decor was cool and I enjoyed the ambiance inside. Service was speedy and I was greeted right when I entered. I know this spot is in a pricey area but they need to bring the price per cookie down a little. Anyhoo if you're craving a little baked cookie give them a try.

Fresh made cookies are my favorite. I will skip a store bought cookie any day. I was hoping to be impressed with my selection of cookies from Chip City. The cookies were pretty big and the flavors were your basic flavors but they do have some specialty cookies. I tried the Italian rainbow cookie, s'mores and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookies were off to me. I didn't get the flavor of the Italian cookie. They were more on the hard side than a soft baked cookie that I was expecting.

I've been hearing so many good things about Chip City, so I had to stop by to see what the hype was about. Right when I entered the store, I could smell the freshly baked cookies. There was over a dozen cookies to choose from (including their regular cookies, the thinwhich, thin chips, and lil' chips). It was hard to choose so of course I had to go with a 6 pack (buy 5 and get 1 free!). I chose chocolate chip (solid choice), S'mores (a must), blueberry crumbles (deliciou, especiallyif you like blueberries), Teddi-fetti, cookies n' cream, and the rookie. These cookies are super thick and definitely shareable. I like how they have reheating instructions on the box, which you'll definitely need to do if you get more than one!

The cookies were amazing i strongly suggest the cookies and cream one combined with the salted caramel ice cream it was literally so good!!! Very nice part of Virginia and the best part was the staff I asked an employee (sorry I didn't get your name!) any suggestions and he gave me a sample of cookie to try!

Hot Honey Cornbread Cookie, Cookies N' Cream Cookie and the Frootie Crunch Cookie

Surprisingly good. Better than crumbl and insomnia imo. My husband, toddler and I shared 3 decently sized/thick cookies. Each with the perfect amount of crunch and chewiness on the inside - not too underdone. Frootie Crunch - 6/10; definitely taste the frooty cereal flavor in each bite, just too sweet for my taste Cookies and cream - 7/10; also on the sweeter side. The cookies and cream flavor was there. Feel like the white chocolate chips are just unnecessary in this cookie since it already has the cream from the cookies and cream. Hot honey cornbread - 9/10; surprisingly my husband and I REALLY enjoyed this cookie. My only personal complaint is the kernels of corn throughout the cookie. The texture of the kernels was not great. Overall, for the price of the cookies, I'd say it's worth it for an every once in a while treat. Downside to those that aren't already familiar with these kind of cookie chains rotating flavors is what kind of flavors are available and how many.

Been waiting forever for this spot to finally open! A week late but still on time to try this Cookie spot out. Located in a beautiful area in Arlington, VA which I love. Parking well ain't much unless you're early but there is also a free private parking lot across the street if you don't mind walking. The store was super clean, organized and overall a vibe. Not only from the aromatic bakery smells but also the aesthetic and decor this place has a warm feeling. I couldn't decide which cookie to try so I asked which one was the most requested and it was the S'mores. - This cookie was huge, thick and warm (a girls dream ). Well balanced and not overwhelming, each bite was a feeling of guilty pleasures I swear. The only thing missing was some milk to close the deal. - Each cookie cost $4-5 which to me is fair due to the size and high quality ingredients. Customer Service was amazing and they were extremely patience as I was undecided the first few minutes. I will definitely come back and glad it's not too close to home bc lord knows I don't need to eat this daily or weekly bc I prob would lol.

Not so much now. Now it is good but not exceptional like in the past. Their pastries are getting smaller and the prices have gone up. There is also inconsistencies in quality, with some items being slightly overcooked. Napoleons - these are about half the previous size. Still very good though. Strawberry eclair - smaller than previous. Also, the shell is consistently overcooked now. Quiches - these are around a third of the previous size. Sometimes they are overcooked and dry. Also, the mixed veggie quiche is much smaller in depth to the spinach one Various danishes (cheese, apple, cherry, sticky buns) - all around a third of their previous size. Still great quality and tasty though Sfogliatella (Italian pastry) - surprisingly, these are larger than they used to be. These are not good anymore though. The filling tastes good, but it's a weird texture now that they make it larger. The pastry shell is really hard and chewy now that they are larger. These used to be the greatest ever. It's a shame. Cannoli - tried this for the first time today. Won't ever do that again. The shell was good and crispy. The filling was a weird color and had tiny chocolate chips in it. You could tell it was several days old because the chips were soggy. Also, they filled it when we ordered it - and they just put a tiny bit of filling in it so we could actually see through the shell. Not good.

At this point, there's a problem almost every time I come here, whether it's busy or not, which makes it difficult to chalk it up to normal rush-related mistakes. The biggest issue is that there doesn't seem to be any real system for catching or resolving errors once they happen. Things tend to fall through the cracks and then it becomes the customer's responsibility to chase someone down for help or follow up multiple times to get an issue resolved. What's especially frustrating is the response when issues are pointed out. Instead of feeling met with urgency, accountability, or even basic apologetic customer service, the reaction often feels confused, dismissive, or slightly defensive -- like the burden is somehow on the customer for bringing it up in the first place. Staff overall tend to seem disengaged rather than proactive about fixing problems and the general vibe is very "bare minimum" customer service. I understand mistakes happen in any busy cafe and I wouldn't leave a review over a one-off experience. But after repeated visits with the same pattern, it's hard to justify coming back. The food is genuinely good, but not good enough to outweigh the consistently frustrating service experiences. As someone local to the area, I want to feel like my business is appreciated and unfortunately I just haven't felt that here. I'd gladly come back if the service and follow-through became more consistent.
