If I had written a review two years ago it would have been very good. Now for eat in - very Bad. Service is unacceptable! Take out is ok, food has gone down hill a lot over past year too though. Ordered take out- Employees were cool! Hassle free ordering experience fo-sho! Generals Tso Chicken was on point. All white meat with a tasty standard issue brownish sauce (not the wacky bright red/orange lube you run into from time to time, if your a General Tso regular...) Don't let me forget to mention the dish contains just enough broccoli to trick you into thinking it's healthy, for a fleeting moment. Beef and String Beans also did not let us down. The beef was very tender and the beans had just enough "Snap" left to give a nice texture Ying/Yang. The brown sauce was a little bland, but no worry. Veggie Lo Mein was also good. The vegetables were fresh and still had some "Pop", but in my opinion the noodle needed a little more flavor(Not MSG! Ha!). All and all a pleasant experience. Place is a joke. I literally never review anything, but this place has pushed me to. Ordered on speaker phone in my car, everyone heard the order and heard the woman repeat it. Picked up the food and the order was wrong. I would have given them another star but the service either take out or dine in is simply atrocious...I just picked up and was told to pick up in 15 to 20 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later I was told it will be another 15 minutes. I really don't care if it takes 30-45 minutes to prepare my order but don't tell me 15-20 and then make me wait another 15 minutes when I arrive. As to the quality of the food. I'm not going to say i'm particular about Gen. Tso chicken and the way it's prepared but i rarely want to eat again from a place that does it poorly. In Chin's kitchen's case, i've been back too many times to count!!! We cater our lunches a lot and i've and or tasted most everything on their menu. It's always fresh with authentic flavors prepared especially by the owner. Whether its dumplings or the delicious wonton /eggdrop soup which never gets old to order, they do it right at this place. We went to this restaurant for Mother's Day, so we pretty much had no choice but to go since mom had the decision. I made the poor decision to check out the reviews of this place before getting my own first impression and admit that the negative reviews played a part with my negative experience. We were greeted by a worker with a man bun who's energy seemed very negative and unwelcoming...he had no patience to explain us the specials. His response was exactly "everything on the menu is a special, just take a look." With most Asian restaurants we knew that most of the items listed do not have a description of the item ordered...I ordered the chicken and sugar peas, which was awful and had absolutely no taste to it, but I'm a highly experienced server and never like to give food back unless it's completely inedible. Oh yeah, it took the food 45 minutes to get to our table while mr man bun stood around and joked with other servers and had absolutely no sense of urgency. Mainly the only thing we enjoyed was one entree, the crispy shredded beef, that tasted amazing I gotta give them that. But our overall experience? Not positive at all. Very unwelcoming, workers seemed burdened when we ask questions, and they just don't care about you at all. I would suggest to only order takeout from them and order what you know is good, don't take the risk to try anything new because they have a different way of preparing food compared to traditional Asian restaurants. read more

Chin's has gone down over the years. Most of the dishes are still good, but the food can be inconsistent. Service is extremely slow and has been for sometime. I don't even go here for a sit-down anymore for this reason. They do have very good sesame noodles and General Tso's tofu. read more

Frustrating. I went there on a Friday night, placed my order in person, and was told "20 minutes". I came back 15 minutes later - and they repeatedly said my order was "in the back being prepared"... I stood at the counter (despite their suggestion I take a seat) for another 35 minutes - at which point they claimed somebody else claimed my order and they would "start cooking it now" - almost an hour after I ordered it. I politely requested a refund and left. They never really made the effort to figure out where my order was, brushing me off repeatedly, instead. The very next day, my wife insists we try again Saturday night - I make her go because I'm too irritated to EVER go back - and we get General Tso's that's COLD and completely over cooked or re-cooked (a steak knife couldn't make it through the gristle)... Wife tried it and agreed... My guess is they're making General Tso's in afternoon batches and shoveling it into boxes as the orders come in. IMO - save your money, save your time... I expect more - They need to get their act together. read more

I am very confused by the lady "manager" of this restaurant. I have eaten here many times and the food is excellent. The service is questionably good to fair to bad, never excellent. Usually, at this restaurant, one is served the traditional tea and once the order is taken, soup is served SEPARATELY if ordered. Then, one waits for the meal to be served WITH THE EGG ROLL. At least that is how it was done. I was there with a friend on a busy Friday (and the lady "manager" insisted the problem had nothing to do with being busy.). We were seated at around 7:15 pm. About 7:35 the lady "manager" took our order consisting of an entree, soup and egg roll. The soup arrived in good time. The egg roll arrived in good time. (And I mentally noted that this was unusual to have the egg roll separately.) 3 other customers at different tables were seated nearby (the place was quite busy) and as we waited for 25 minutes, these newly arrived customers not only had their orders taken and appetizers served but they received their meals ahead of us. It was now 8:15 pm and no dishes for us seemed to be forthcoming. I finally inquired, was completely ignored until I spoke up directly to the lady "manager". With a smirk on her face she refused to acknowledge that she/they could be at fault. Instead she insisted that we ordered appetizers and soup. That was supposed to be the reason we had to wait. Unfortunately, I apologized to her as I paid the bill BUT SHE WAS STILL ADAMANT AND STILL SPORTED THE SMIRK. This is not the first time she has stirred annoyance with customers. And I still do not get it that we had to wait nearly an hour to get our meal after we ordered supposedly because we had appetizers??????? read more

Love this place! We have had consistently delicious meals. Like the fact that the food is fresh and the sauces are not gummy and the foods are not heavily dated and fried. We dine in and take out. Now, that being said, the sesame chicken that we ordered was good. How the quality of two similar dishes can be so different, twice, can't be coincidence. I would give this no stars. They did not get our order correct so when we called they asked for the original already brought home food to come back. That was odd but when we brought it back, we asked what they will do with it, and they said eat it maybe with a major attitude. The food was at my home for over an hour since we were waiting for the whole family to come home. The lady then proceeded to call my husband a jerk and talk down to him. NEVER AGAIN. I've had many lunches and dinners at Chin's and the occasional take-out. I'm sorry to see some negative reviews there. I find the food prepared with care, a cut above many other local Chinese restaurants. They have always accommodated special requests, and the price point is attractive. The owner clearly works very hard; she always stops by the tables to make sure customers are enjoying the food. On particularly busy days she even takes orders. The place is small and a great deal of the business is take-out but I prefer to dine in, often brining friends to check it out. I'm happy to be a regular. read more

I have eaten here many times long ago and it was good. I stopped in on a Saturday and ordered take out. I brought it home and it was not what I ordered​ but I still ate it. I happen to be in the area the next day and I was craving vege fried rice. So I stopped in and ordered my veggie fried rice. When I went to pull it out after I got home I found chunks of chicken skin and meat in it so I passed it off to someone else to eat as I'm vegetarian. they had mentioned it tasted like it was cooked on a filthy Grill.
