The ground lamb didn't overpower the already expertly executed hummus and added fantastic depth and richness. We also sprung for the grilled calamari tubes and the chef did a great job of not overcooking while achieving an excellent char. We shared the baked cod and the spice was delicate and perfect. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

The staff were super friendly and checked in just enough without being annoying. The food was the best part for sure. Everything tasted fresh and actually well-seasoned, especially the seafood. You can tell it's not just thrown together--it had that real Mediterranean flavor. The portions were good too, I definitely left full. There's also a nice variety on the menu, so it's easy to find something you'll like. Overall, it's a really solid spot. If you're into seafood or just want something different with good flavor, I'd definitely recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.

The setting was very nice for a shower. The tables were spaced apart with enough room to move around. Tables were also set up for the desserts and party favors. The staff were very nice. The service was efficient. The courses were timed well. We started with bruschetta that was very good. Then they served an antipasti plate with meats, cheeses, olives, and a fig spread. It was tasty. The salad was a mix of lettuce's cucumbers, tomatoes in a light vinaigrette. The ingredients tasted very fresh. We had three choices for an entrée: chicken Marsala, eggplant Parmigiana, and salmon. I have the salmon. It was cooked in a light sauce with tomatoes and served on top of spinach. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The sauce was light, but had a lot of flavor. It complimented the salmon well.

I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. We waited close to an hour for our entrees while the restaurant continued to fill up. With a hungry toddler, the long delay made it difficult to enjoy the visit. After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal.
