Used to be best in area but not anymore.... Food quality decreased and people became arrogant.

The freshness of the veggies packed inside are delicious!! I have tried spring rolls in the surrounding area (Warminster/Richboro/Langhorne/Holland) which are always so soggy and oily inside. It's quite gross & I can promise I have NOT been back to those places. Asian Palace spring rolls have a few pieces of cut shrimp (nice chunks) that I have to pick out because I'm allergic, but they are soooo darn good and fresh, I'm willing to risk it lol. Their chicken fried rice is tasty & has good amount of carrots, peas and onions. Can't tell ya how many other restaurants have cut corners and dobt put veggies in and to top it off skimp on the chicken. I was highly pleased to see A.P. Is they providing what customers want making people want to keep coming back! Great job Asian Palace, our go to place!!!

Still love a Chinese restaurant that puts out hot tea, noodles and duck sauce the minute you sit down. Today I took 24 ladies to lunch (pre-arranged menu choices). All 24 ladies (some hard to please) enjoyed everything! Courses were timly, food was fresh, hot and generous portions. It was perfect. Bruce, the owner was very accomodating, Alan and Ken took great care of us. They didn't miss a beat. Generals Chicken is all white meat. I enjoy the veg tempura but everything is a good choice. And lots of left overs! Yay! Must end with the pistachio ice cream...our group favorite!

Sitting right next door to Pho Palace on Bustleton Avenue in the far Northeast in Philadelphia,…read moreYaudim Dim Sum & Noodle is a small modern semi fast food Chinese kitchen that models itself as a quick dim sum (small bowl) house where you order at the cashier from the large laminated menu on the counter the most popular traditional plates, and then sit at a table until the order taker/chef/server brings your food to you on plastic trays. All that would be fine if you don't miss the old ladies with their pushcarts hawking their goodies at your table. I sort of did miss them as they are what I remember most fondly about those enormous meals around a large round table with family and friends that I enjoyed growing up. But, this is certainly not that, and therein lies the difference of having a totally enjoyable experience vs a fast food version without any cultural entertainment value. Without that, the food was just not as tasty and fun. The Xiao Long Bao skin was too thick and chewy, although the pork infused hot soup within was decent. Similarly, the sui mai and shrimp dumplings had better texture outside, but tiny shrimp within. The glutinous rice rolls had a pleasant light soy sauce and right textured wrap, but small shrimp in both size and number. The best we had was the potato croquette (crunchy outside, hot and grated tato within). The room was all blond wood and large traditional Chinese kitchen mural on the wall. Service was efficient. Prices were about right given the recent restaurant inflation. For my three stars I would rather return to the enrapture of the old ladies and their carts.

They call it a Vietnamese hoagie which isn't wrong by local standards, but I think French-Vietnamese sandwich would be a sexier name for it. Bread was introduced to Vietnam when it was a French colonial, among other things, but the Vietnamese put their own twist to the sandwich. I had the roast pork Banh Mi with Yucca fries both are delicious. The roasted pork Banh Mi was sweet and savory with cilantro, pickled carrots and radish (trust me this stuff is good), and other goodies as well. If you want to try an original fusion food, you can't go wrong with Bahn Mi.

As I walked to my table there was no aroma of Vietnamese food/Pho (should have been my second clue). As I scanned the menu I realized it was awful pricey ($20+) for a bowl of pho. I decided I would get a salad instead. Mind you I expected some type of cabbage based salad with some asian inspiration...nope! It was literally a house salad with iceberg lettuce, tomato & cucumber. It was served with some kind of runny dressing. Disappointed & halfway through this mess I was presented with the check & was told to bring it up to them when I was ready....really? I cannot imagine how they stay open or will stay open much longer...needless to say this place is a big no-no & will not be back.
