Don't let the strip mall fool you. It looks a little rough around the edges, but this place has become one of my go-to spots for Chinese takeout in Quakertown. The food is always fresh, the flavors are great, and best of all, it's not overly salty like a lot of takeout can be. The restaurant is clean, the prices are reasonable, and I've never had any quality issues with my orders. The staff is always friendly, and pickup orders are prepared quickly. I usually order ahead for pickup, but they're on DoorDash too if you'd rather have it delivered. My favorite items include their General Tso chicken, house special fried rice, and appetizers like fried dumplings and boneless ribs. I have gone to this place for years, great food until now. I order almost 40$ which included 2 orders of egg food youg that come with brown gravy. I put the gravy on both orders and took one bite and it tasted like eating pure salt. It was 100% un eatable and ruined both dishes. I could not get the taste out of my mouth for over 10 hours. Any wsy i called them to tell them of the issue and their response was thry did nothing different and asked me what i wanted, i said since both my meals were compleatly ruined it would be nice if they would replace the 2 meals, they said no but they would give me a free order of the gravy! What was i suposed to do with that??? I have gone to this place for years-since 2000, and spent thousands of dollars there and this is jow they treat you!!! Talk about a bad taste in your mouth, this treatment of a loyal customer is outrageous. By the way i called to let them know of an issue, in a very calm manner and was dumbfounded how i was treated. This place is amazing! Tucked in a nearly vacant stripmall but don't let that fool you. I've looked all over the Lehigh Valley and down south through Quakertown and this is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've found. I believe it's only take out now, though it might have been sit down before Covid. The prices are reasonable, the portions are massive and the crab Rangoon actually has something inside of it other than just cream cheese! I loved their general tsos with broccoli and the veggie lo mein. Everything I had was delicious. The staff is also so sweet, efficient and patient. There are some chairs and spots to wait while your order is being prepared if you order in person and to the right against the wall there's a rack with all the condiments, utensils and napkins you could need to take at your convenience and desired quantity. I'll be returning here over and over as this is my new Chinese spot to hit up whenever I get the hunkering for Chinese. read more

This is the best "regular" Chinese food in Quakertown, the kind you would expect from a corner shop in Philly. Anything you order will come to you as the classic American Chinese takeout you are expecting. The big draw for me is that they sell french fries for my son who is picky about eating rice There are more expensive restaurants in Quakertown for Chinese but China Wok has been consistently great and their lunch specials are excellent. I always take out, but you can sit down there too. The folks working there make really good food but they always say it's going to be done in 10 minutes. My experience is their orders take about 30 - 40 minutes to be ready for pickup. Pretty standard in this town. read more

Wow! For a boy originally from Brooklyn, whose prime feed bag food is Chinese (guess I was born this way, lol), this restaurant in the middle of nowhere meets my needs. I've searched high and low throughout Lehigh for a decent Chinese restaurant; U and Tea and Shangwei in Bethlehem are great but too far for take out. Then I found China Wok in Quakertown. Their food is surprisingly good. Their general tso and black bean chicken dishes are surprisingly good. The black bean chicken fun dish almost has the "fragrance of the wok" that caramelized flavor imparted from high heat while cooking in the wok. The egg rolls and wonton soup are standard fare though. So now China Wok is this Brooklyn boy's go-to place when he gets the yearning. read more

This place has been consistently great lately. The pork fried rice is divine. If it had the little bits of scrambled egg included, I would say the best I've ever had. Though even without the egg, it's wonderful. The Kung Pao chicken is packed with flavor, Mongolian beef A+, egg rolls and wonton soup are on point. The only dish we have ordered that was somewhat lacking in flavor was the General Tso chicken, but I'm nitpicking at this point. Also, the food has been ready on time on our last few visits. Giving it a three stars because I really do love this place, but if you ever want something special ordered, example a noodle dish with no onion, you will ALWAYS GET ONION. Being a Chef and Originally from Brooklyn New York. Who has been eating chinese food since a young child . I have to share . I have been ordering here for the 4 years I have now been living in Quakertown, I have yet had a bad experience. The woman who take and also cooks orders is Extremly pleasent, I never feel rushed or not appreciated buying from this establishment. The food and portions are excellent and worth every penny. I never get attitude when placing a special order asking for it to be cooked differently. Examples: making a non spicy dish spicy, or substituting a different sauce. Everything is always fresh hot and delicious! The food here brings me right back to my hometown. My only regret is they are closed on mondays, But hey they need a rest I get it.. I can deal with it. No, this isn't Chinatown. It is the usual suburban Chinese takeout standards with the flavor toned down to Quakertown standards. The first thing I liked about this place is the soup; it seems like nobody knows how to make chicken stock anymore. China Wok clearly does. The soups are flavorful and rich from simmered bones. I have found the family who runs the restaurant friendly and accommodating. The fourth star was earned this weekend after I asked for my pork lo mien lunch special (just over $5.00 includes fried rice and pint of soup) to be made with spicy oil. They did this and loaded the lo mien with plenty of vegetables, pork, and spicy flavor.. Excellent! Feeling under the weather tonight and picked up a quart of won ton soup. They recognized me as a regular and loaded the container with won tons. read more

We recently moved to the area and have ordered takeout from here at least a few times a month. We are DONE after tonight. After waiting an hour and a half for the food we call and they say that the delivery driver is on their way. They then call us back 15 minutes later to ask us if we can come pick it up. Then they tell us never mind, finally arrive and the bag reeks of cigarettes. And of course the food is cold. I have NEVER written a negative review before, but this is beyond ridiculous. Absolutely horrible! Let's start with the girl that answers the phone at night that has one of the worst attitudes that I've ever heard in my life. She has no regard for customer service and sounds like she's 10, probably should be working anyway. Then after telling her my address about 6 times because apparently she wasn't listening then the food comes an hour an a half later after 2 phone calls from their delivery driver who is on the other side of town. I have ordered from here quite a few times and wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt but they have proved me wrong over and over again that they are horrible. I am able to give them 1 star because their food is "ok", very inconsistent, but the blatant attitude and disrespect by their staff cannot be looked past anymore. The final and last straw for me today was when I called at 12:20 they said "no, we don't deliver", WHAT CHANGED!!
