Anyways the food was okay, out of the Laurel-Picyune area, this is probably my least favorite chinese buffet. The buffet here is really cheap but you get what you pay for as the buffet is composed of mostly blah prepackaged Chinese items that can be found at McChinese buffets across the country. Ordering from the menu will get you better quality food for a slightly higher price and would be the recommended option unless you need to stuff your face with the factory mass produced feeding trough. I've ordered for pickup here twice and I can safely say I am a satisfied customer. The service is very friendly and capable. Everything is always hot and ready when I arrive. The food is quite tasty and you get a ton for a very good price. I've had the Kung Pao and sesame chicken and my wife has had the pepper steak twice. She loves the Lo Mein noodles. I do think their fried rice could have more flavor, I found it a bit bland. But overall I like this place a lot. read more

I've given them another star for consistency! The place is nothing but consistent in it's commitment to serving the same food the same way year after year after after year. There is something to be said about consistency! If you loved the food here ten years ago, you will love it today. The same can be said if you did not like the food...it will be exactly as you remembered it. The price is cheap, the food is always warm, the soup is hot and the salad is cold. Great food if you can get it fresh like when they first open up. After that it's like most buffets hit and miss. Just better to order off the menu if you can't catch them when they first open. No scale for take out to go orders. They eye ball it and the guy is pretty fair but the lady will over charge you. Overall they decent and the food is good. read more

Had to pick up my mammy a lil goodie for mother's day coming up from Hill's right next door and decided what the hell, I'm down for some Chinese foo and this place had the lights on. I took my happy ass through the front door and HOT DAMN the smell invaded me like an American soldier gunning down Al Qaeda. I'm not going to say it was in a good way or bad, but I did get a little offended. I needed a to-go box, no problem, sweet lady behind the counter pointed me in the right direction. Less than impressive choices at the buffet bar, but I'd say right in line with what you'd expect from a cheap Chinese buffet. Small but very fresh buffet. A little crowded for dining in and probably a problem for a group to sit together. Take out is very generous for the price. Has been extremely busy every time I've been there and feels kinda rushed....like hurry up and get out of the way for next person...this is at the crowded buffet table as well. This is my favorite Chinese Buffet and has always been. The quality of the food, cleanliness of the restaurant, and efficiency of the staff has always been consistent. Some may feel a little over waited on when your glass has two sips gone and the waitress immediately asks you for a refill, but I prefer that to waiting for a refill for 20-30 minutes. My favorite part is the food has always been in the same place on the bar and is always fresh. Their WON TONS are amazing and made but the workers at a table In sight, so they're definitely not pre-bought and they are the best I've ever had. All others are crab filled or have no taste at all. These are semi sweet deliciousness! Last but not least this is the best food you will get for $6.50! I recommend it to everyone! read more
