We love this place! These is a Family owned restaurant. Abraham, the owner you will find him everywhere. His two sons are the servers who have a great personalities. My husband went last week and came home raving about their egg drop soup. It was the best he has had so of course I want to try it. It really is good! It seems to has more eggs in it than average and the flavor is so good. It will definitely be on future orders. I also love their beef dishes because the meat is so tender. Last dragon is about 3 minutes from our apartment so when they first opened we were excited. We ordered take out the first time and we're highly disappointed with flavor and portion size. We've been seeing a lot of good reviews recently and decided to try them out again. We ordered a variety of things to try on DoorDash. The order was quick and fresh. It was HOT so perfect. Let's start with the bot so good. I ordered phad thai which I should have known since it's a Chinese restaurant, it wouldn't allow me to choose the meat so I guess they gave me beef which didn't have a lot of flavor so we didn't even eat it. The steamed dumplings were all right for a Chinese restaurant. The general tso was light and tasted pretty good. The star of the show was the Mongolian beef, it was sooo flavorful and tender, and the noddles were delicious. We will definitely get that again. read more

Laurel, MS needs some good Chinese food. There is a buffet down the road but it's not good at all. Last Dragon I feel like can get there but not quite hitting the mark. Their Mongolian Beef was delicious. Beef was tender. Ton of onions that still had a little crunch to them, I love them so I didn't mind at all. And the sauce over the beef was delicious. Savory with a little bit of sweet. My eggroll was really dry, I dipped it in the Mongolian sauce to make it better. Their fried rice wasn't really a favorite of mine, kind of bland. Again I added it to the Mongolian sauce to make it better. The fried dumplings were pretty good. Cooked just right, and good flavoring. Their sweet and sour sauce is not my favorite. Super thick and artificial tasting. I tried my husbands General Tso and didn't like it. Again, something like pre-packaged taste to it? And the chicken was dry. I will go back for Mongolian and maybe even to try their special where you can try different chickens in one meal for cheap. But Laurel is still in need of some good authentic Chinese food. read more

This review might not be for you, but for us we were happy to find a place in town that serves tofu. Before now we'd have to go to Hattiesburg for such a meal. Otherwise the food had great flavor, was hot, and delicious. Was also thankful that the staff got back to me very quickly with answers to my questions about which meals would meet our dietary needs. read more

First dining experience here and won't be our last. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Luna answered all of our questions and made an excellent recommendation with the Honey Chicken (we will definitely order that again!). Food came out quickly, served hot. THEY HAD HOT TEA! First Chinese restaurant around here that we've been to that has hot tea! Love Chico's story and enjoyed all of our food! Abraham was very friendly as we were paying our bill. Hi: Have been here three times since it has opened this year. It does a reasonable job in creating a Chinese style meal. It is more of an Americanized version of canton style Chinese food. It is not bad but not really authentic. Look at the staff profile and the ownership and the challenge serving authentic Chinese food in the South. The staff are good. They try really hard to help their patrons. I would recommend the place to others. read more

Visiting Laurel. I come from NY, ATL & now live in Dallas. So this was "ok" Chinese food. We had Yummy Shrimp (battered & fried with an orange glaze) & the Last Dragon Chicken, chicken & mixed veg in a brown sauce (soy, hoisin ? more salty than any thing) The service was ok but our server did refill our water until we asked. The rice was brought out right away. The fried rice was better than the white rice, which seemed a little dry. The veg egg roll app came out with the entrees. The egg roll was "ok" as well. I don't think they used MSG in their food as I didn't get the MSG headache. My biggest gripe was that they played their tinny radio over the the low volumes Chinese ambient music. Very disconcerting. DONT PLAY YOUR MUSIC OVER THE AMBIENT MUSIC. It sounded like a bad loud speaker. They're in a small market so I hope they make it. Decor is nice. read more

Just opened but already trying very hard. The interior is outstanding, prefect "Asian" music for background, not too lout just right! Attentive staff, It will take me some time to get used to the menu, but I look forrward to "explorinng" it. I ordred beef with black mushrooms and the beef was incredibly tender and the mushrooms were flavorable! A huge bowl of Egg Drop Soup that was delicious and wonder of wonder they serve cold beer as well! I iwsh them the best (it's a remodeled Pizza Inn remodled into a Seaf Food Restaurant, but you'd never know it! They went from the ground up to make it unique in this South Mississippi (Yeee-Haw! How 'bout dem Rebels!) town! I'd personally like the lights a little less bright but that's just me! Give it a shot! read more
