The curry was honestly the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life. I had to spit it out to keep from vomiting. The building, inside and out, is in really bad condition. After seeing it I regretted I'd already ordered and paid. The ceiling has water damage basically all over. The air vents are rusted and corroded probably from all the water damage. HOWEVER, recently their plate combos do not have hearty servings like I have enjoyed for many years. The food comes in very small bowls now. When I want really good Chinese food I get it here. They make the food fresh when you order and it doesn't take very long. Wait time is usually under 5 minutes. If you call in ahead, they will have your food ready for you when you arrive. Always hot. The only problem I have when calling in is understanding the accent over the phone. I personally have problems with heavy accents when I cannot read the persons lips or movements. That doesn't stop me from calling in when I want my food fast. They are quick and get the job done with little distractions. Very straight forward and professional. The amount of food you get for the money is great also. Not to be confused with the chain on 16th Ave. This is a family ran business, cooked fresh when you order. Takes about five minutes or so with huge portions. They don't even take a name when you call in. Just "thank you". If you want great Chinese food this is your best bet in Laurel. There are a few tables with chairs to dine at but majority get it to go. And not to worry it will still be piping hot when you get home. read more

I'm not too much of a Chinese food fan. I only eat Chinese food once in a while. I must say that the food that I ordered was very good, hot and freshly cooked to order. I'm a very picky eater and complains about anything. I never gives a review on my service unless I'm very pissed to the max. Well my service was the total opposite and I'm very great fully pleased. I'm an New Orleanian which means all of our food must have flavor.... PERIOD!!!!! Lol.... I ordered two different plates which was the combination plate; chicken fried rice added an egg, green onions and extra onions, with pepper steak and an egg roll.... the other plate was the same but, broccoli and shrimp instead of pepper steak. Everything was on point, to the max. Lol.... oh by the way one of my Fortune cookies didn't have a fortune message inside of it, which was my first cookie I picked up to eat.... lol... petty right??? This place is awsome. There food is very good. It's mostly take out. There are some tables there but it's not a very good atmosphere.
