This is fast food Chinese that has been a decent to good experience at all the other locations I've visited. The ambiance is pretty much like all the others but far less crowded and far more poorly run. Sadly this is the WORST location I've ever visited. They constantly don't have most of the options prepared. They are constantly out of iced tea so when I purchase a drink and then try to get iced tea I have discovered it is empty except on one occasions out the four visits I've made here. I gave feedback to the company via their information they have on the receipt and again via their website yet I've never heard anything back. So ultimately I've just written this place off of places I will eat at as they simply have shown a disturbing and constant pattern of not having things squared away. I love Laurel's Petsense groomers. I used various groomers in St Louis where I used to live and Petsense in Laurel is better than any of them. They do a great job of cutting one of my boys evenly and thoroughly, and by far are the best at clipping my other boy's dew claws short enough to last a couple of months. They aren't rubbing their anal glands on my rug after only a few weeks and they go in there nervous and shaking but are happy and calm when I pick them up which tells me they are comfortable with the groomers. read more

New management has really brought this place down. Completely clueless. Use to be great a few years ago. Was the last place on 16th you could get fast food other than fried chicken or burgers. Very disappointing. Won't be surprised if it shuts down with everything else in Laurel. Get some real management in these places and you wouldn't go out of business! read more

I stopped for dinner here recently. There several staff members that seemed to be quite confused with what was going on with orders. Maybe lots of web orders. A lot of the food options had been sitting there too long and were no longer warm or fresh. I had to wait quite awhile to place an order and I was the only one in the place. I got chow mein, orange chicken and mushroom chicken. The chow mein and orange chicken were warm and tasty. The mushroom chicken was barely warm. I guess the heater had not been on for that dish. But the staff actually brought me a small box of new mushroom chicken that had just been completed and was very warm. So a mixed bag but overall not bad. read more

Two weeks ago, I waited in the parking lot for half an hour for noodles that were supposed to take 4 - 5 minutes. When I went in to inquire, the person who said he would bring it out was surprised I hadn't received my order. Tonight, I ordered for my son and me online, got confirmation and a time for pickup. Drove 20 minutes to pick it up to find the restaurant was closed up tight and dark - long since empty. Nobody had the foresight to actually contact corporate and have them turn off web orders. Watched five other cars behind me come in for food as well. They seem apologetic enough when they screw up, but from my experiences and reading other reviews, nothing ever gets done to correct the issues. read more

Where to start.... come in at 1pm and the bowls that hold the food were pretty empty, actually 6 of them completely empty. One employee at front counter and 1 other guest in store. Nothing else being prepared because the kitchen staff was busy checking reviews on their phones or something. About 20min later the rest of our food was done. Now they are about 6-8 people deep in line and yelling back to kitchen all the stuff they are out of. We travel the country a lot and this has been by far the worst Panda we have stopped in. I have enjoyed eating here and grabbing take out several times since we moved to Laurel in May 2019. The Laurel crew has always been friendly to me and seems to work as hard as they can to get the food out quickly. Usually good experience except for the handful of times I've ordered online (pre pandemic and once during). All but one of those times I have ordered an hour before pickup and have still had to wait a while for my food to be ready. The point of ordering ahead like this is so there is no wait. Updating my review. The food here is still the best panda express food I've ever had, because it's always fresh. It's always fresh because they always have to cook it. Because they're always out of everything. The past 3 times I've come here I've had to leave because I've been told the items I wanted were unavailable. Even though I've tried multiple items. Two of those times they were also out of rice. Rice!? Really?? How does a Chinese restaurant run out of rice? And not just once, but two consecutive visits? Workers act like they want me to be irritated and move on because then they don't have to work. I get it, you hate your job. But guess what? It's your job. Go here fairly regularly. The food is good. It is not the best "Chinese" for, but they are more American/Chinese anyway. The food is usually ready, but if you have to wait they usually give you a free drink or offer a free entry certificate of available. Being frequent patron, I see they are very busy at times. This is why sometimes you have to wait for new food to be made. Usually the wait is less than five minutes. They offer some healthy options for those trying to watch their intake. Good quality food at reasonable price. Personally, I don't think the premium options are worth the extra charge, but that's my taste. As I college student, I am occasionally broke. Luckily, I had some spare change, so I decided to take a ride to Panda Express. Not only was rushed to order something by the employees, they had my order wrong. I did not tell them to change it, because I know how difficult working at fast food is at times. I felt like that kindness was taken for granted when I bit into my half cooked lo mein. My orange chicken did not not taste anything like orange chicken either. Finally, after eating such horribly prepared food, I know my fortune cookies would make up for all of that. Nothing could go wrong with individually packed fortune cookies, right? WROOOOONG. My wife and I stopped in while visiting my family. Londarrius was helpful in letter me and my wife sample different items and broke me from my usual Orange Chicken. The white rice wasn't as fluffy and separated as I'd like it (I can't cook rice to save my life so I'm not upset) but was good. The teriyaki chicken had an awesome flavor and it now my favorite. Went to panda and I ordered online and paid online with credit card. I ordered Chow Mein and veggie rolls. My ordered was scheduled for 7 p.m., so I was in line at 7:05 and stayed in line until 7:30 for them to tell me...we out of Chow Mein. I settled for fried rice because I didn't have time to try and get my money back on my card. So I gave 1 star for veggie rolls and 1 for staff because she was nice about the situation. You guys need more product and when someone orders online please have my order hanging out the window waiting for me.
