Fraudulent charges and disrespectful staff! I am beyond frustrated with this establishment. I visited on Friday and paid my bill, only to find out they charged me again on Saturday a day I didn't even step foot in the restaurant. The double charge was for $39, and despite being told the issue would be resolved by Monday, it is now Wednesday and I still haven't received my money back. When we went to resolve this, the staff was incredibly rude and spoke down to my boyfriend because his English isn't perfect. It is disgusting to see a business treat customers this way, especially after essentially stealing money through unauthorized charges. This place has zero integrity and terrible customer service. a solid 3.5 stars I have to admit I didn't have high expectations for this place. The place looks like it has seen much better days and the carpet...my gosh was Nixon President when it was last given a good scrub? The woman who took our order was actually quite sweet and I asked her what she would recommend...she said General Tso and Spicy Chicken was actually quite popular but I told her spicy foods doesn't agree with me. So I ended up getting the Sesame chicken which came with an egg drop soup and an egg roll. I have to admit the food is quite good and the egg drop soup was the best I've had in a long time....and I'm Asian so you know I've had enough egg drop soup to turn me into a chicken....The Sesame Chicken was also very good. The chicken was nice and moist and the seasoning was just right. The best of all...it was only about $6 and change. I think I've tried every Chinese place in Lilburn, Snellville and some parts of Lawrenceville and Duluth. China Wok is my fave by far. The Sesame Chicken is my fave stand out dish, but honestly everything I've ordered has been hot, tasty and abundant. They don't skip on portion size and I love the reusable plastic containers they use for hot dishes. The fried wontons are full of porky goodness and they give you a huge container of old skool sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Lastly, please order the fried Chinese donuts for a sweet finish, they give you far more than ten as advertised on the menu. They are to die for. Check out my pics! read more

I'd give this a 3.5. We order frequently from China Wok because the House Special Fried Rice is very good. The sesame chicken is as good as most people say. I recommend both of those. My least favorite item is the Lo Mein. It didn't have much flavor and was kinda watery instead of saucy. The texture of the noodles was disappointing as well. Shrimp spring rolls from China wok are also good, but they can be a bit oil - keep tissue handy because you may need it! Wings are good. The only flavor we definitely haven't liked: Garlic. After I got home I tasted the food. Then I read the reviews. They are spot on!! My so called Kung pao chicken had virtually no flavor at all and no spice! We have been ordering from China Wok for several years, picking up instead of having it delivered. Yesterday we ordered Seafood Delight with calamari (tough and chewy like rubber), scallops (one large one) and shrimp (maybe 4 but they were good size). It also had something that resembled oysters, one of which had something like a wad of hair in it. YUK! It also had 'fake' lobster, the kind made from fish. BEWARE! China Wok is a member franchised name and NOT a restaurant chain!! None of these restaurants are even close to having the same menu items or quality! It's a name that anyone can rent to use and sell oriental style food any way they want. It doesn't require ANY standards of quality and MOST have LOUSY food! Won't be back. Soup was slightly above room temperature and had the same consistency as ranch dressing. The rice was bland yet was the highlight of the meal along with the sweet tea that I had to get up out of my chair to find the server so I could get my refill. The chicken (I think it was chicken) was rubbery which leads me to believe they use those rubber chickens that make the silly noise when you squeeze them. Was craving Chinese & the first restaurant we stopped in at wouldn't serve us (BC it was 30 minutes before close?!) so we ended up here. I was impressed. Service was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious with the exception of the sesame chicken. It didn't taste like any sesame chicken I've ever had. However, the server did have a honey, teriyaki sauce made for me to use instead which was great & made the chicken edible. Egg drop soup was so yummy my picky 9yr old loved it. Crab Rangoon was the best I've had in quite awhile. Shrimp lo mein was full of flavor & had real vegetables such as zucchini & mushrooms in additional to the usual stuff. Shrimp & broccoli was delicious with very large shrimp in the entree.
