I ordered Garlic beef and fried rice combination. It came with chicken on a stick. I believe all the combinations come with chicken on a stick for a free appetizer. No fortune cookie came with my meal. The food was good and hot. I wished they would have put duck sauce and other condiments in the bag. I will give it a 4/5. The lady at the register was nice. Everybody knows it's hard to find a good chines restaurant to call the main go to but This is a nice little Chinese restaurant in norcross that I can definitely give another try to they are the first chines restaurants that i know that has spicy rice which is good the rice needed some seasoning but the spicy was definitely there. We order chicken wings, rice , spring rolls and crab rangoon which is my favorite specially the crab rangoon shaped as a triangle. I give this place a over all 5/10 food 4/10 only cause the rice really needed seasons besides the spiciness , The crab Rangoon was very good 8/10 , most places spring rolls is mediocre , The wings were good as well a little drowned in the sauce but it was good and a pretty decent size overall when you order it's a good proportion of food something I'm always definitely looking for my moneys worth and me being full and possibly being able to eat it twice. read more

Today I made a quick stop at China Cooks to get some wings (love their wings) and in the process of me rushing I lost my car keys. Immediately, one of the owners checked the camera and they began to help me search for my keys. She, her young mom, and her little son even came outside to help me look for my keys and ultimately drove me home to get my spare key (which I believed I had accidentally dropped my key in the car when getting out but hadn't). Because I didn't have my key fob, I had to call a tow truck. While waiting, they continued to show concern by checking on me, calling someone to assist me with getting my key fab, checking the businesses next door to see if someone had returned my keys, and I can go on. Mind you through all of this, their business is still running. When I got home, I broke down because no one expects that kind of love and kindness from a business. Even before I left with the tow truck, I went into the restaurant to thank them and the husband (owner) was telling me not to worry and that it was not a bother. I called again when I got home and the same thing as if to say: "no problem at all, happy to help!" I promise you, their food is the BEST!! But on top of that, they are good people who genuinely care for their customers. Because of this, I will remain a loyal customer and always support this business. Thank You China Cooks!! Clean facility and food is decent. Went for the first time this evening. Placed order online and food was ready when I arrived. Upon checking the bag I noticed an item I paid for was missing (spring rolls). I brought it to the cashiers attention and her response was one of disbelief. She asked for my bag bag to confirm it wasn't in there. After she confirmed I was told I would need to wait an additional 5 minutes for them to be ready. No problem. People make mistakes. After waiting, my food is represented to me and I ask about the sweet and sour sauce. Most times egg/spring rolls come with a small cup. I was then told I needed to pay an additional $1.50 for sweet and sour sauce after already having to wait. If they can't afford to give someone some sweet & sour sauce after already having made a mistake with the order, they don't deserve my business again. I have been in search of an authentic Chinese restaurant in Atlanta for the last three years and I've found it! You can smell the seasonings before you even walk into the restaurant. The place is tiny but believe me this food has flavor and they aren't skimpy on the meats in your fried rice or Lo Mein like most restaurants. My first experience with them was takeout and although there was quite a bit of a wait time it was well worth it. The food arrived piping hot! I was more than satisfied. I ordered the following: -general tso chicken -hot wings with shrimp fried rice -hot and sour soup -house special lo mien For all of the above, I paid around 29$ and some change. Pretty decent and the general tso chicken was pretty good. The hot wings and shrimp fried rice was decent but nothing spectacular. The house special lo mien was good though and tasted even better the next day after heating it up. Overall, I found my go for chinese take out. read more

Ordered quite a bit of food. Sesame chicken, shrimp and broccoli, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and shrimp lo mein. Everything that we ordered taste pretty good. We ordered over the phone and had no problem. The wait was over 30 minutes but we were told it would be. It was good food but not great food. The orange chicken didn't have a strong flavor of orange and we didn't get any sauce for our spring rolls. It was a little more expensive than others we have ordered. Average low end shopping center chinese food with terrible people working there. They have ruined my order several times and always refuse to fix it. Water tastes straight out of the sink, pretty sure it is. These people never smile, never say thank you, will never respect you as a customer and never put any effort into making you feel welcome. Its like they're living in a dungeon. Misery love company I guess. I mentioned they ruined my order several times. I decided to try them again and stupidly again but will never go back. They ruined my order tonight and refused to even try to help the situation. $24 down the drain. Ill find a homeless person tonight and offer it to them. Lastly, I noticed over time my order portion size has gotten smaller and smaller and they started taking out the broccoli and side items. I'd say this is one of the better chinese takeout places I've been to. Solely on the fact that you walk in to an open kitchen, and see that your order is not pre made. It also, to my knowledge, looked very clean inside with no bug issues unlike others in the surrounding area. The guy taking our order was also very patient with our group ordering. They also have coupons based on merit of how much you spend. We spent over the $35 limit, and got a free order of egg rolls which were delicious. The crab ragoons were also the first in a while I've actually tasted the filling. I had their "Flame and Phoenix" I believe is the name of the special. It had a combination of chile shrimp and General Tso's Chicken. The chicken was delicious, and tender. They give you just the right amount of sauce to meat, and it's not too sweet. The shrimp was a nice blend of spice. I also tried some of their Combination fried rice which was probably the best part of my meal. I'll definitely be back for more at this location in the future. This is where I order Chinese delivery from and their food is good and flavorful, fast delivery, etc but the reason I am giving 2 stars is because when you order lo mein or fried rice they can't give you white meat chicken. You can't even pay extra for it, it's not an option you have. Only the white meat is for like a chicken dish.
