I put in an order here, and needed to use the restroom when I go there. There were boxes stacked up everywhere, and I had to move things just to get to the public restroom. There was raw meat sitting out in trays next to the trash can. I don't know how the food tastes, as after this I decided to throw my food away. The cleanliness here is worrisome. read more

Ordered online to pick up on my way home. Ordered Pork Fried Rice and Beef Pad Thai. I enjoyed the PFRice the most. Ordered the "small" but was enough for 2 meals. Good amount of pork and great flavor overall. Same with the Pad Thai-very generous portion. I think I was expecting it to taste similar to another chain restaurant's pad Thai so I was thrown off a bit on first bite. It was really good too-just not what I expected. We have been frequenting China Wok over the last year since moving to the area. For the last several times when we order, the restaurant just can't make an order correctly. Unfortunately, the gentleman answering the phone isn't too fluent in English. We had decided to use their online ordering in hope of receiving a correct order. I had to call the restaurant as the online system placed an order for 2 sweet and sour chicken dinners, when only one was needed. We confirmed the order for one of each broccoli and shrimp, egg roll, hot and sour soup, and sweet and sour chicken. We arrived at the restaurant to pay and pick up the order. I will own that I didn't check the order prior to leaving. Upon arrival at home, we received broccoli and beef instead of the ordered broccoli and shrimp. Immediately I telephoned the restaurant to advise of the error. Once again, the gentleman answering the phone says we can comeback to exchange it. I mentioned we weren't getting back out and they could provide a credit for our next order. He replied with offering 10% off next order. I suggested 50% since this isn't the first time. After he conversed in Chinese with another man in the background, he offered 35%. I told him we have been regular customers over the year and future repeat business was at stake. I truly do not believe he understood me. Needless to say, we will not return to China Wok. There are other places who care about you as a customer and are ready to earn your money. So if you want to play roulette with your food, you're in the right place. If you want a sure bet on your order, try somewhere else. read more

This review is based off the food alone... I really didn't know what to expect walking in but I'm pregnant and really had a Chinese food craving. Their menu is big. I'm used to ordering Chinese at places that have it all made in dishes to pick from...SO since everything is made to order here I took a stab in the dark at menu items I was familiar with from other restaurants. We got the Broccoli Beef with Lo Mein and Orange Chicken with Fried Rice. We also ordered cheese wontons. The 2 dishes were SO good! The Lo Mein was probably my favorite part. Mmmmmmm yum. Generous portions. My husband and I shared both dishes with leftovers at the end. The wontons were just ok. I wouldn't order those again. A couple egg rolls somehow made it into my bag even though I didn't order them. Those were really good too. I'm excited to go back and try more things and get some more Lo Mein! Tip:call ahead and order for pickup so it's ready when you get there. Because they make everything to order it takes a little more time then I thought it would...which is great but I'll order before I get there next time! Need to grab a to go menu to keep at the house. I am a huge Chinese food lover. Honestly. Could eat it everyday. We got take out. Y'all their honey chicken is freakin amazing. The house special lo mein is very good as wel. The cream cheese rangoons are crunchy and not overly stuff but that is just how I like them. My friend said her general tso was off the chain too. Highly recommend. I like China Wok because they are close, cheap, and reliable Chinese with a minimum of fuss. Our family's favorites are their General Tso's chicken and beef lo mein. That being said, I tried their beef pad thai for the first time today and it was the blandest pad thai I have ever tried and my expectations were not high. Went there and got dinner! When I got home, the sauce for my beef egg foo, was so hot , it burned a whole right through the styrofoam container! Know why put that hot shit in a styrofoam container? Why not use the plastic containers you normally use! Then I called and complained, they said, I will give you 10% off, up yours! After one year of patronage, we give up! Upon calling the restaurant to advise of our last incorrect order, they offered 10% off our next meal. All I got was shrimp fried rice. I was surprised when I opened the container and it was brown, not as in using brown rice but literally marinated in soy sauce! It was so salty it was inedible. Believe it or not I went to another Chinese place for a quart of fried rice thinking that mixing the two would make it edible and give me leftovers. Nope. So salty it burns my tongue. read more

Egg foo young was ok,Fried Chicken wings were Overcooked,Unchanged Oil/Burn't oil. same "Kid' behind counter (order taker) appeared "High". Very poor English ,even after years of dealing with people.
