The couple of times that I've ordered here have been unremarkable. The service was prompt and courteous. The hot and sour soup had an odd taste to it. Stopped by this restaurant @ 9:00 p.m. to get some shrimp fried rice. The rice was very old and burnt and the shrimp weren't even cooked. They were slimy, lukewarm and weren't even pink. Furthermore, my order was taken by a very young girl and delivered to me by an even younger boy. read more

Doesn't even deserve 1 star! The place is filthy from the front door. They have underage kids working the counter and they don't even speak English. Not anything like the Chinese food I've had in NYC or Miami. If you have to order from here get the dumplings. The ponzu sauce they provide to dip the dumplings in is exceptionally good. Other "safe" menu items would be the Spare Ribs, Chicken Lo Mein, and egg rolls. Don't get me wrong, this place does plenty of take out. My first visit here was in 2006. I vowed never to return, but 5 years later, here I am and I did. Things have changed for the better. Another typical small town Chinese take out restaurant. The egg rolls are not overdone here, and the Mongolian beef is a decent choice for a combo platter. The pork fried rice isn't really any different than I've had at any similar place. Prices here are a bit higher than the place on the Butner side of town, about $1-$2 higher per person per meal for comparable take out. The staff here appears to be more inclined to serve my wants and needs and they also seem to be more appreciative of my business than their Butner competitor. read more

Typical shopping strip Chinese. My husband said his sesame chicken tasted "funny", as in the spices/sauce were really weird. My general tsaos chicken was pretty good, but still, I couldn't put my finger on the spice that seemed a bit out if place myself. I was pleasantly surprised to find the crab rangoon seemed to have a decent (probably fake) crab to cream cheese ratio. Definitely enjoyed it. I'd say mostly my 3 star is based on the other Chinese restaurant in the area (only about 2 miles further) being better. read more

Really good, small town Chinese food. We've been coming here for years, and what's impressed us is that if you know what you're doing, you can sometimes order off menu. They are more than happy to make any dish into a tofu dish if they can, or if you know what sauce and veggies you want, they'll create it on the spot. Be sure to ask first, though. Sometimes they may not have tofu on hand, or if it's a super busy time, they may not be able to accommodate, no matter how much they may want to. Be patient and nice, and you'll get the same in return. The couple that run it are super nice and friendly, but it is a two-person operation; take that into consideration. Also note that the only "off menu" item I've ever gotten is a tofu alternative to a menu item, or something basic like "tofu in Szechuan sauce with water chestnuts and peppers". I'm not sure how they'd react to a request for fugu :) On menu, though, my favorite is the honey chicken. If you don't like the spiciness of General Tso's, this is a good alternative. read more

Best Chinese? No, but good. Ask for extra spicy & it'll come out medium. We've sampled most of the styles offered & keep returning to Szechuan & Hunan. Hard to ruin the staples. Very friendly service. The young couple who run the place couldn't be nicer. read more

I do not believe the prices are fair. This is byfar the most expensive take out chinese place ever. Everytime i have ordered in person or on the phone I ask for WHITE RICE and they give me nasty pork fried rice.
