This review is based on the take out order. While my food was very good - the customer service hostess was a bit harsh - not exactly customer friendly. However my food - what I normally get from a typical China Wok was very good- shrimp on white rice & veggies- light soy sauce & salt - it was piping hot- this was during the lunch hour- $8.99 -lunch size with a complimentary egg road - generous serving size. Not sure about curbside service because of location in a version of a strip mall. Conveniently located off interstate 85 exit 204 Oxford NC -less than half a mile from the exit - as well as access to other types of shopping experiences & lodging accommodations- convenience stores & bank service. read more

I love the food they make great lo mein and my wife loves the beef and broccoli. On weekends or Thursday evenings they can be quite busy so wait times could grow. However, it's worth the time I'm also a fan of their egg drop and wonton soups. read more

This is my go-to for take-out Chinese food in the Oxford area. It's a tiny store tucked away beside the Hilltop Food Lion, so it's not obvious that it's there. The food is excellent and plentiful though, so it's definitely worth a search when you're craving Chinese food. The prices are reasonable and affordable, so don't expect anything fancy when you walk in. For me, good food always surpasses fancy. read more

Top China is decent American Chinese takeout in Oxford. It's not a fancy place to dine in, so call it in and go grab it. It's classic brown sauce Chinese food, with some interesting menu additions, like a Pad Thai. In fact, if noodles are your thing, I'd recommend the chicken lo mein. Sauced lightly with the right garnish veg, it's not your typical soy-and-charred-yellow-noodle dish. Say hi to the sweet kids doing their homework at the back table. Discovered this place yesterday 06-14-20, Excellent service and friendly staff. Ordered General Tao Chicken- great dish and prepared with freshness rice was fluffy and not sticky and not hard, not as spicy as I like but good. We ordered an extraordinary amount of food for my birthday and they got it done in 20-30 minutes! We had 6 appetizers including 8 egg rolls, and a large dinner dish from nearly every section! (We were feeding 20 people). The food was hot and fresh and some of the best I have had! Best lo mein hands down! The sauced dishes weren't over laden, and the fried chicken kept its crunch! The orange, pineapple and sesame chicken, were out of this world! The seafood plate with shrimp, lobster, and scallops was awesome, the shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly! I've had worse, but this is definitely in the bottom half, at least. Hot and sour soup had very little flavor, and zero heat. Same can be said for the general tso's chicken. Egg rolls are bland. Fried rice was decent, but nothing spectacular. read more

Average at BEST. Teriyaki beef was like boiled. Pork wontons ok but seasoning flavor was a little odd. Shrimp fried rice.....rice and shrimp. No added flavor. Idk just ok. Hot and sour soup was start here thick and very mildly hot and NO sour. Will not go out of my way to do food from here again read more

We had heard they were fast and reasonable. They are reasonable but not fast. They seem to be very popular but with two working cooking and one taking orders and trying to help with food. She was definitely overwhelmed. We were tired and hungry and waited for a long time for our food. The food was good although my husband got rib tips and had more bone than meat. Never thought it would be that busy on a Tuesday evening. Glad a small place like this is so busy. When we are in the area again we will call ahead first to order.
