We also ordered spring rolls and a large soup. There was plenty of "white" and sweet and sour sauce (yummy; I used the "white" sauce the next day for other leftovers). The three dinners I remembered were well worth everyone's exorbitant prices. The large portions were correctly cooked to perfection and the fried rice was even better the next day. From the 4th dinner, I only remember he ordered noodles instead of rice and apparently the noodles were also just as yummy. The only, and I mean only disappointment was the large soup (broth). While bursting with flavor, that was the only thing it was bursting with. A few mushrooms and scallions would have been appreciated, especially with the cost. However, if your needing some of the best broth around for a comfort food for a cold, it cannot be beat. The next time we are able (or want) to spend over $120 on takeout, Yamato will be, hands down, our first and only shoice.
