Fried donut dessert with ice cream

Wonderful food with great service! Lots of Vegetarian options as well as gluten-free and dairy-free.

Chicken ginger sauce - decent

A very enthusiastic and dedicated gentleman introduced their menu to our dinner party of 3. Friendly and nice. The ambiance is very "dark" as in very low lighting atmosphere so if you ate a lot like we did, you will be ready for bed. They play fusion music which has English and Thai in the background. The favorite appetizer was the chicken satay. Dinner entree was the shrimp Thai basil. Desert was the fried donut with ice cream. The curry puff appetizer wasn't "puff pastry" as I expected like most Thai restaurants but rather a thin but crunchy shell. Their specialty drink is equivalent to an Arnold Palmer. Personally, I much rather get steak at a steakhouse so I would skip the steak dish and go for the classic Thai food. This Thai food restaurant is definitely better than moon river on the other side of Danville. (In terms of flavor of food and service) parking situation is also much better at this location - lots of parking in the lot in front of the store.

Tender beef dish

Found this restaurant on Yelp based on the reviews -- and it did not disappoint! Everything was made fresh and was very tasty. We had Crab Rangoon that had a crispy outside and creamy inside, Bang Bang Shrimp that had a tender crispy outside and a tasty creamy inside, a wonderful beef dish with tender beef that's only occasionally on the menu since it has to simmer for a long time, and chicken pad Thai with a slightly sweet and spicy sauce and noodles with pleasing flavors throughout. It was a very pleasant eating experience and when I'm in the area again, I'll definitely swing by for more Thai food!

New favorite restaurant! We came in on a Sunday night, around 7:30pm, there was only a family in there. We were seated right away. The staff was so friendly and polite and explained the menu very well. I ordered the Thai iced tea which was yummy! We got crab rangoons and gyoza as the appetizer. Both were great, especially the crab rangoons, probably the best I've had. For my entree, I got the teriyaki chicken. Super yummy! Everything is made to order so it was fresh and hot. Overall, would love to come here again. Such a nice place.

Food was flavorful and very authentic. Lighting is a bit dim, but has a very tasteful setting. Service is excellent, served passionately. Sweet tea is indeed very sweet. It is a bit expensive, and servings are just the right amount. They are very passionate about the food that they serve and ready to make your eating experience the best.

First time being here and the food is amazing. I've got the curry chicken. My wife has got she got the same thing I got but not as hot and what did you get ma'am? Hi OK, yeah hibachi shrimp appetizers are amazing. Everything is on point here. Recommended to everyone.

Rustic Barn was absolutely amazing! This restaurant was recommended to my family by a friend and they did not disappoint! The ambiance is quiet and comforting for a quiet meal with the family. Customer service was fabulous! The head host made sure to describe the entrees in depth and created a welcoming environment for new customers. Rustic Barn has an extensive menu with lots to choose from. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with the family. We will be returning!

Butterfly Pea Tea * My favorite nature magic

My favorite Thai place in the state if not further Amazing flavor, joyful service, with a mellow soundtrack and relaxing environment. Unassuming on the outside, memorable food. Jeb is a joy to talk to, and after the first time I came here I couldn't wait to come back for my birthday. He's such a bright cheerful person and his fiancé is the genius behind the food. The flavor is complex in a way it's hard to put my finger on. The perfect combination of savory, spice (adjustable) umami. You can tell everything is fresh and made from scratch with love. I love the Tom Yum soup (creamy/brothy magic) Green curry of any kind, everything we've tried has been on point. The butterfly pea tea is my favorite beverage, a sweet tea made with a blue petaled flower that has an æthereal flavor and changes color before your eyes. Always leave this place feeling lighter in spirit, if not heavier in the belly. Truly a gem and worth the 40 minute drive from my house whenever possible. Just love it so much.

BEWARE OF THE RED PEPPER SYMBOL on the menu!!!! If you love spicy, indulge! If you are sensitive or…read morecan't handle spice, run faaaaar away from these items. Most places put a pepper symbol and it's not spicy at all, but this single red pepper symbol means business!!!!!! I'm sensitive to spice at the moment so eating my food was a bit of a marathon....but in a good way! Think runny nose & sweating hot with tons of delicious flavor. To start, we served wonton strips with a white yum yum type sauce which was a nice surprise. For our app we had the crab puffs (crab ragoons) which of course were not spicy, perfectly crispy and had the right amount of filling. I also ordered a dragon roll which came out after my main entree since the sushi bar was backed up. This actually worked out perfect because the cream cheese in the roll was a great way to calm the spice in my main entree. The mango and crab on the roll were very fresh, and the size was also pretty hefty for being an 8 piece roll. I could have easily made this into a lighter full meal. For my main entree I got the spicy basil with chicken (red pepper sign alert!!!), brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was good as expected, the brown rice was cooked to perfection and served in a side bowl, and the main entree was plentiful with perfectly cooked veggies & chicken! This dish brought the heat but in a very good way!!! I couldn't get enough of that spicy basil flavor!!!! I only ate half the dish so looking forward to a delicious lunch today! Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes but while I'm sensitive to spice at the moment I may avoid the pepper symbol for a bit!

I ordered the vegetable Lo Mein (without mushrooms & onions). I've had other dishes here, like the…read moreveggie curries, that were great. But this Lo Mein is the worst I've ever tasted unfortunately. The noodles were mushy and overcooked. The "sauce" basically tasted like oily vegetable broth. As you can see from the veggies in the picture, they are just oily without a char and without any flavors. The dish honestly just looks bland as you can see. I can't tell if this was cooked in a microwave or an actual wok because there's no caramelization of any flavors. Nearly $20 for this dish on top of that. A lot of locals prioritize this place over other smaller Asian options here in Mebane but I'm not certain if I'd return for anything based on this waste of money.

(4.5 stars) I had time to kill before a movie and wanted a…read morelighter lunch. A som tam (papaya salad) fit the bill, and Thai Square had it. While I would have been satisfied if it merely fulfilled a craving, Thai Square more than exceeded expectations. From an aesthetic standpoint, this is one of the nicer Thai restaurants in the area. It's bright and clean with a wall full of ornamental plates. Though it was busy at the time of my lunchtime visit, it seemed well-run. Staff were polite and attentive, and the kitchen had no trouble keeping up with demand. The som tam with shrimp was among the best versions of this dish that I've had. From the attractive plating to the freshness to the flavors (good amount of lime, not too heavy on the fish sauce), it was satisfying across the board. It wasn't at all spicy, which would ordinarily be a red flag (white people Thai food, five-yard penalty), but in fairness, it wasn't requested as such. Provided that Thai Square can bring the heat if you ask for it, the execution here is top-notch. I don't know if the rest of Thai Square's menu compares favorably to the dish that I had, but I hope to eventually find out. For Thai fans in Greensboro, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Enjoyed my time here for a late lunch with my son and niece…read more Food: everything we had was delicious except the calamari. I eat calamari at every restaurant I go to if they have it. I would not choose this appetizer again. It just did not taste good. No seasoning. It did not taste fresh. Service was okay. Nothing special. We were there during the lunch rush so we saw our server as they rushed from one table to the next. Not a lot of time to make you feel welcomed from the moment we came in to leaving. I was visiting my niece in Greensboro so I would probably try another Thai restaurant before I circled back around to this one.
