Pleasantly surprised. I came on Maki night but the usual were calling me. The chef's Hibatchi special was good too. Decent portion of protien with 1/2 noods and rice that was really well seasoned. The apps were an ample sized portion but didn't standing out in flavor or seasoning. I settled on a standard Tempura Roll which was delicious. I loved the sauces! read more

I just got done defending this restaurant to some people and now I'm writing a bad review. And I never leave reviews. I eat Chopstix at least twice a month. I won't be going back. Their website sent out a text message with a coupon code of 15% off. I tried to order and the website doesn't load. So I go to the restaurant thinking they would honor the discount. Nope. The owner was very petty and said "I can't stop what I'm doing to give you a discount. Then I would have to give everyone a discount" Ok well you've lost my respect and business. read more

It's Eden, NC, not New York City. The food was good. Owners/Staff very nice. I'm sure it's difficult for a Chinese restaurant in Eden to get the supplies that might be available in a major metropolitan area. But they do a good job. read more

What we ordered AND paid for: Spicy Hunan Shrimp w/white rice, egg role with duck sauce, spicy sweet and sour chicken w/white rice and white sauce, and spicy soup. What we got: Regular chicken, beef, shrimp Hunan w/white rice, egg role, No duck sauce, spicy sweet and sour chicken w/fried rice, No white sauce, and a random soup with zero flavor. Will not make the same mistake. read more

Today was my first time visiting this establishment. I opted for pickup which was a very simple and easy process. I ordered 1 egg roll, 2 maki rolls for $12 Philadelphia roll and Spicy Kani Crabmeat roll with a side choice of noodles. Pros - large sushi rolls - very fresh sushi - flavorful noodles - very large egg rolls that are NOT greasy - excellent sushi roll specials - super friendly staff Cons - none read more

Truly, do not waste your time or money. Online pick up order - I was very specific about what we wanted, number of sauces, etc. When I picked up, I asked if everything was bagged and if sauces were in the bag. Confirmed. Well, sadly, NO. We have NO salads and NO white sauce and limited other sauces. The food we have is sub par. Sesame Chicken tastes like Orange Chicken; spring rolls are soggy with no flavor; Hibachi Chicken is tough with no flavor. Ya know, several years ago the food at the Eden Chopsticks was pretty bad - and I said I'd never go back. BUT - with our limited restaurant choices I thought I'd try again. Save your money. The on-site manager has no authority to "make it right" for the customers. So, I'll wait for some off-site management group to decide about giving me a partial refund. Sadly most of this food is going in the trash. Side note - if you want a really great Asian inspired meal - ride up to Danville and try The Rustic Barn. It's fabulous. read more

absolutely terrible, food was undercooked and cold, literally handed me a uncooked plate of chicken and expected me to eat it. the service was terrible, servers were extremely rude and the setting was an absolute mess. I will never eat here ever again... read more

Really good daily deals. Foods great, best General Taos I've ever had, also their noodles are amazing, never lacking in flavor.

What a great little gem in a little city. They serve Chinese, Japanese, sushi and some limited Thai dishes. I ordered the Hibachi chicken. The presentation was beautiful. Underneath the chicken and vegetables are rice and noodles. It was a very generous portion and I brought half of it home. Everything was cooked to perfection. It was simply delicious. Our server was so nice and on point with everything we asked for. This was a working lunch for my coworker and I. They allowed us to sit there for at least an hour after we ate. We did not feel rushed. This will definitely not be the last time I eat here. read more

I'm always nervous when our small town gets a new restaurant. I want so badly for it to succeed and more often than not, it falls short of expectation. This was not the case at Chopstix (and it takes a lot of me to say that because I'm a HUGE Sakura fan iykyk). The establishment is huge, clean, and welcoming. I also get nervous about the service at a new spot but they totally rocked it. Our server was quick and knowledgeable and we got our food quickly. The actual food was DELICIOUS. The sushi roll was comparable to any sushi we could get in a big Triad city. The egg rolls were HUGE. I could get full off of just one of those bad boys. The hibachi was cooked just the way I like AND they give you the option to get both rice and noodles (which of course I had to do). Not only do they have hibachi/sushi options but a whole menu full of Asian fare. We will never have to order the same thing twice, that's for sure. The only two bits of criticism I have are that I wish the rice was cooked a bit more with the veggies in it and I also love Japanese hot sauce with my protein and they only had Texas Pete. I suggest at least carrying siracha. I can see this being a spot we will frequent regularly because it's so close and the quality of the food is super solid. If you've been on the fence about trying this spot, I would definitely recommend visiting ASAP ! read more

I ordered Teriyaki shrimp and rice and noodles and two cheese steak eggrolls! I didn't like my food at all! The sauce was dark and horrible tasting! My eggrolls were amazing! Just disappointed in the entree! read more

Ate here for lunch today and it was awesome! We were seated quickly and food arrived 10 minutes after sitting down. I had the Hibachi Chicken and my son ordered the Beef Ramen Noodle Soup. We also ordered egg rolls which were delicious. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. Forgot to ask the name of the waitress but she was very sweet and attentive. We ate for under $30 and I had enough for a second meal. So glad Eden has a new food establishment! Way overdue! Highly recommend and will visit frequently! read more

Little generous with a 4 but it has potential so definitely looking forward to going back. I will start off by saying that it is very reasonably priced! Potions sizes were large and service was fast and friendly. Didn't have super high expectations for high end sushi in the middle of Eden but it was pretty good. We tried several different rolls (the chef rolls are 1/2 price on Fridays... killer deal!) and they were presented well. The major issue was the sushi rice. It was overcooked and gummy making the texture less than desirable and detracting from the flavor profile of each roll. The other thing noted was the consistency and quantity of the teriyaki sauce on the chicken. It was like it was added at the end and applied too liberally. It would have been nice to have had the chicken and veggies cooked in the sauce to give it some flavor and help break down the gooey-ness of the sauce. Overall though it was a pleasant surprise and we will definitely be back soon. read more

Four stars this time because we were inundated with flies. Kill one and three more would come to the funeral! Food, however, was excellent! I only got picture of my Seafood Pad Thai, but we also got steak tataki and ping pong sushi rolls. It was all very goo, fresh, and tasty! For anyone going, I would not recommend sitting by the windows. Fly city! read more

The food is not as good as when they first opened, but my biggest complaint is every time I DoorDash or get a to go order I always ask for them not to put my granddaughter food in styrofoam because it melts every time. It's average. Not worth the time we spent getting here nor the money we spent here either. Our server was attentive but the food was ... whatever. To be fair, we've had amazing Asian food IN Asia so our bar is pretty high. For a small town, I'm sure it's quite good. Restaurant was clean. Server attentive. read more

First time eating at Chopstix, the staff was super friendly didn't have to wait to be seated and the waitress took our drink order quickly also. Order the steak and shrimp with fried rice. It comes with vegetables put I ordered extra rice instead of vegetables. By the time we finished our soup my steak and shrimp was ready. The rice was great and so was the shrimp. The steak was Excellent, in my opinion the best in town. We be going back!! read more

The food, Service, and atmosphere is always pleasant. A bonus is being budget-friendly by having a variety of menu times 50% that rotate daily and discounts for public servants. Service horrible food was nasty there white sauce is left on tables all day (mayonnaise based) the chicken teriyaki was salty as can be me and the wife saw a sushi plate sitting not chilled for 20 min until served asked to speak to a manager they never came to table will never go back read more

It was, well it was mostly edible. I just don't know what I am thinking ordering sushi and Chinese food out in the sticks. Compared to Chinese in Mayodan it was gourmet. Compared to Chinese everywhere in the populated universe it was bad. Not really bad, but sorta bad. The California rolls were gas station quality. Mongolian Beef was tasteless and mostly onion with some rubbery protein resembling beef. I just give up. No more rural Chinese food. read more

Great price and specials! Awesome hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere! Will be back!

My granddaughter and I went to celebrate her making the A honor roll. When we arrived there was no one at the counter. We went to the restroom to wash our hands. When we came back to the counter, we waited an additional 8 minutes and when no one came to the counter, we decided to seat ourselves. We sat there another 19 minutes, while several of the wait staff looked at us as they walked between the other customers there. No one came over to greet us or even acknowledged us. I finally stopped someone and asked them if we were going to be waited on. The woman was hateful to me. She asked had I been seated and I told her that no one had been to the counter since we arrived so we seated ourselves. At this point, she called me a liar. Another employee brought us menus and took our drink and food order. My granddaughter ordered her usual hibachi steak with extra rice. I ordered my usual the beef and broccoli bowl with an order of avocado rolls. We loved the food as always but the rudeness and disrespect of your employee ruined our entire celebration. The woman who called me a liar would walk by our table and make rude comments about I was a liar, I should have been asked to leave, and the one that upset me the most was the comment she made about us not having the money to eat there. She made the comments loud enough that the staff and customers could hear them. I have never been as embarrassed or humiliated as I was that day. It embarrassed my granddaughter who I had shared dozens of meals with among the three restaurants. This happened at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. I would understand if the restaurant had been busy but there were only three other tables occupied. I would have left but my granddaughter chose Chopstix to celebrate at and she was so thrilled to honor her achievement. I have been a loyal and faithful customer of your locations in both Eden North Carolina and Martinsville, Virginia. I am also a huge fan of Tokyo Grill in Danville, Virginia which is owned by the same family. I have spent thousands of dollars at your restaurants with my daughter and her family but this type of disrespect will ensure that I will not spend another penny in your restaurants. I wasn't going to write about our experience but my granddaughter said she would like to return to your restaurant but she didn't want to be embarrassed again. All we wanted to do was celebrate her accomplishments but your employee had to take her joy away. read more

Meh it's same as Martinsville. Inconsistent kinda dirty meh. Straight up china wok looks sketchy but their tak out is way better.
