The chef cooking! Entertaining and delicious!
Maggie H.

I didn't want to change the star rating for this but make sure to call before going if you are hoping for the hibachi grill side! We tried to go for my birthday and the hibachi tables were closed. We were bummed but next time we will call ahead of time!

Food tasted alright, however I didn't even make it home before having to stop and use the restroom. I would not suggest this place.

BEWARE OF THE RED PEPPER SYMBOL on the menu!!!! If you love spicy, indulge! If you are sensitive or…read morecan't handle spice, run faaaaar away from these items. Most places put a pepper symbol and it's not spicy at all, but this single red pepper symbol means business!!!!!! I'm sensitive to spice at the moment so eating my food was a bit of a marathon....but in a good way! Think runny nose & sweating hot with tons of delicious flavor. To start, we served wonton strips with a white yum yum type sauce which was a nice surprise. For our app we had the crab puffs (crab ragoons) which of course were not spicy, perfectly crispy and had the right amount of filling. I also ordered a dragon roll which came out after my main entree since the sushi bar was backed up. This actually worked out perfect because the cream cheese in the roll was a great way to calm the spice in my main entree. The mango and crab on the roll were very fresh, and the size was also pretty hefty for being an 8 piece roll. I could have easily made this into a lighter full meal. For my main entree I got the spicy basil with chicken (red pepper sign alert!!!), brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was good as expected, the brown rice was cooked to perfection and served in a side bowl, and the main entree was plentiful with perfectly cooked veggies & chicken! This dish brought the heat but in a very good way!!! I couldn't get enough of that spicy basil flavor!!!! I only ate half the dish so looking forward to a delicious lunch today! Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes but while I'm sensitive to spice at the moment I may avoid the pepper symbol for a bit!

I ordered the vegetable Lo Mein (without mushrooms & onions). I've had other dishes here, like the…read moreveggie curries, that were great. But this Lo Mein is the worst I've ever tasted unfortunately. The noodles were mushy and overcooked. The "sauce" basically tasted like oily vegetable broth. As you can see from the veggies in the picture, they are just oily without a char and without any flavors. The dish honestly just looks bland as you can see. I can't tell if this was cooked in a microwave or an actual wok because there's no caramelization of any flavors. Nearly $20 for this dish on top of that. A lot of locals prioritize this place over other smaller Asian options here in Mebane but I'm not certain if I'd return for anything based on this waste of money.

First time here and had a great time. Service was great we had a lady serving us and she was very…read moreattentive and nice with the kids. Gave us plenty of time to order and didn't feel rushed. The restaurant was clean and there was a lot of seating, not too bright and not too dark. We ordered quite a few things but I didn't get a chance to take pictures of everything. They also give you a bottle of white sauce they leave at the table, and that white sauce is pretty good. Probably one of the better ones we've had, it's not overly thin or sweet. We ordered two children's shrimp hibachi plates that came with 5 pieces of shrimp, fried rice and plain noodles. No veggies come with the children's plates. It was $9 per plate. Both kids were extremely happy. We also ordered a steak and shrimp dinner combo, it was around $18. Comes with steak, some shrimp, broccoli, onions, zucchini & mushroom. I think presented on the plate it was a smaller amount or maybe just the way it's presented but we did get a pretty full plate of leftovers in a to go box. Steak and shrimp were seasoned nicely and the steak was cooked perfectly. We shared this plate because we also got sushi and other things. Husband got a seaweed salad which he said was some of the best he has had. It was pretty soy based but was good. He also got soup which he said was pretty basic and was fine. We also ordered a Side salad with ranch, got some lettuce with some carrot pieces. Your basic salad. Can't complain. Sushi we ordered was the Country Roll, Niobe Special and Sakura Blossom. Each roll is priced around $9-$14. They were all covered in spicy mayo and eel sauce but can't complain. We like that stuff. The Sakura Blossom roll is probably my favorite. It has raw tuna on the top, avocado and salmon in the inside. I think cream cheese as well. It was good. The Niobe special was pretty good as well, was hoping for a bit more spice but it was more mild than "hot" for anyone that doesn't like too spicy stuff. My son really loved his Country Roll this is a good roll for beginners it has crab and cream cheese and it's fried so it's like a sushi bake but in a roll. Would definitely recommend coming back, it's priced decently and you get a lot of food. Can't talk about service like others but we had a good time. Would rate 10-10 overall!

I got on the great Yelp and found Niobe so we decided to get it for dinner. We called in our order, but there are plenty of booths to sit at if you would like to dine in for lunch or dinner. I got the hibachi steak and chicken. Simply delicious. The yum yum sauce is a must have. The portions are huge, which is obviously awesome. It also comes with a soup as well. Prices are very good so you'll get bang for your buck on top of good quality. The portfolio has expanded to add Niobe to it. I went back two days after our first visit. Was impressed and will continue to come back.

I've reviewed a lot of gas stations on Yelp:…read morehttps://www.yelp.com/collection/feP73QIFqpzHefu3txmGjg/Gas-Stations-and-Convenience-Stores. Off the top of my head, I can count on only one hand the number of gas stations that have special driveways like this Sheetz in Burlington does. If heading south down Maple Ave / NC 49, this Sheetz has a direct, one-way "exit" that puts you right onto the property. It reminds me of the RaceTrac on Peachtree Pkwy / GA 141 in Peachtree Corners, Georgia: https://www.yelp.com/biz/racetrac-peachtree-corners. This is Sheetz store #592. It's located just off of I-85 / I-40 exit 145: NC 49 - Downtown Burlington, Liberty. It's an OK stop to fill up at if you're traveling between the Triad (Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem) and Triangle (Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh). Note: On this concurrency (overlapped stretch) of I-85 and I-40 in North Carolina, the I-85 exit numbers prevail. Those exit numbers are 131-163. Sheetz is known more for their convenience stores with "MTO" made-to-order food than they are for their gas stations (e.g., gas prices, amenities). Currently, Sheetz is only in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company is headquartered in Altoona, PA. I remember my first experience at the Sheetz on Wendover Ave in Greensboro, many years ago. Multiple Sheetz stores have since opened and closed in my hometown of High Point: https://www.bizjournals.com/triad/news/2019/11/12/sheetz-to-close-high-point-store-because-of.html. The luster of the brand has long worn off on me, but I think it's still fine.

I was told I had to visit Sheetz when I went on a small road trip. I was told it's like…read moreQT/QuikTrip but better. Coming from Charlotte, it's very similar to QT, but "better" in the sense that freshly-made food is available 24/7 and the menu is larger. I wanted a fish sandwich but I was told they didn't have fish. I was given a free item coupon for the inconvenience. I had a fried mozzarella cheese stick, and they were good and had a light garlic flavor in the breading. I ate a tuna salad sandwich wedge, and it's like the other wedge sandwiches you can get elsewhere. The restrooms were clean. The employees were friendly.
