There's a good reason this place is so poorly reviewed (and I wish I listened to those reviews before coming here...). At best you get mediocre takeout, at worst you'll get abominable food and terrible treatment from the strange workers there. The first red flag should have been them calling to rudely ask where we were when we didn't arrive as soon as the food was ready, although we were right outside the establishment and had driven a ways to get there. Harassing your customers over the phone is acceptable to them, I suppose? Then, after arriving home, we found that our order was completely botched. The chow mein we ordered was, uh, onions. All onions, no noodle in sight, LITERALLY just a pile of onions in a container. Not sure if this was done on purpose based on the way they were acting. We attempted to call to see if we could get some sort of partial refund/replacement/anything at all to soothe the pain of paying $9 for onions but to no avail. The workers have no problem with telling you to fuck off before hanging up on you. :) read more

Waited 15 minutes for them to get them done over ( mind you they charged me for shrimp rolls ) get home ordered shrimp fried rice (was charged ) got not one shrimp in my rice had to call for them to laugh and play on the phone went back up there which now they want to argue it was shrimp in the rice while there another customer comes in with my shrimp fried rice because their allergic to shrimp . Whole time not one apology at all ... I'll never ever go there again if the guy who took the order on the phone would have listened instead of rushing me off the phone he would've had the order right . Just moved around the corner and happened to see this place going into the Publix one day. I ordered chicken and broccoli, and chicken lo mein and it was made fresh. I asked the lady at the counter (who seemed very unhappy and angry) if the "Lemon Chicken" was good. She said she'd never had it because she doesn't eat fried food. OK, so I try it. I get home after spending $13 and it's fried chicken with white rice, no sauce. They some how forgot the Lemon part of the Lemon Chicken. That's bad, but what's worse is the angry lady behind the counter. Somebody had left their purse. When they came back to get it, the angry woman muttered under her breath "Thanks for the tip." after they left. She was actually mad the person who left their purse behind hadn't tipped her for not stealing it (I guess). Screw the place. If you can't cook food the right way and you're angry at everybody....I don't want to give them my business. I see other people here talking about the "angry lady up front". If she hate the people she serves, don't make her do it. Spend your money somewhere else. I recommend China City Express. It's just south of intersection with SR-64 (Manatee Ave.) on US-41. Those people cook GOOD FOOD and they're VERY NICE!! They don't hate their customers. China City Express is glad you ate there and tells you so. This place is close to our house and the food is usually pretty decent. It's convenient when we need to grab something quick but tonight we didn't even bother ordering before walking out. My wife and I walked up to the counter and the young girl working the register asked what we would like. As soon as my wife began to order, the phone rang and the girl put up her finger and Shhh'd my wife. She proceeded to take that phone order and then 2 more telephone orders while we stood waiting.
