It wasn't as syrupy sweet as you tend to find in food courts but a nice reasonable flavor with some sweet brown sauce. The person who we interacted with was nice, offering us disposable plates and silverware. Located in a shopping plaza at the NE corner of Manatee Ave W and 75th St W, it was easy to find and easy to park.

When she brought my food out, I asked if the receipt was in the bag. She said yes and essentially rushed me out the door. When I got to my car, there was no receipt in the bag, so I went back inside and asked for an itemized receipt. I explained that I had been overcharged. She then said she had accidentally charged me twice for a beef and broccoli plate. I only received one beef and broccoli in my order. She offered to give me the difference in cash, but when I asked what my card would ultimately be charged, she became confused again and wouldn't give me a straight answer. She continued trying to rush me out, which made the situation even more frustrating. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable leaving the tip I had originally written on the receipt. I had to take the store copy and cross out the tip before finally leaving. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience from start to finish, and I regret not going to my usual Chinese takeout spot, China One on Cortez Road, which I highly recommend.

They charge $8 for four tiny vegetarian eggrolls (they are really spring rolls), they do not have any of the crunchy wonton noodles to put into soup, and you have to specifically ask for white rice for meals that should automatically come with it (and they charge you extra for it, too!). We ordered the house lo mein and the Cantonese Eight Treasures Pot; neither of them came with much meat at all (the second one is mostly tofu), and the shrimp are SO small (and you only get maybe four of them in each dish). I appreciated that they could accommodate my MSG allergy, and the cashew chicken dish was a good, large portion. But we won't be going back.

Recently, my family and I visited this restaurant that specializes in Chinese cuisine, which holds a special place in our New York restaurant culture. Initially, we were disappointed to learn that they were unable to prepare General Tso's shrimp due to an issue with the breading. However, being already at the restaurant, we decided to give it a chance. To accommodate my son's allergies to sesame and soy sauce, we ordered a large shrimp fried rice. I must say, the way they catered to his dietary needs with that dish was truly amazing and commendable. The flavors were on point, and it left us impressed. My partner and I opted for the shrimp with broccoli, which, although not exactly in line with the "New York" style we're accustomed to, still managed to satisfy our taste buds. The dish was well-prepared and enjoyable. I would give the food a 3.5 out of5, as it fell slightly short of our expectations. While it didn't quite capture the essence of "New York" Chinese cuisine, it was still good. As for the restaurant's decoration, I would also rate it a 3.5 out of 5, as it lacked the vibrant atmosphere we usually associate with Chinese restaurants. However, where this establishment truly excelled was in its customer service. We were delighted by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and ability to accommodate my son's dietary restrictions deserves nothing short of a perfect score. Thus, I would give the customer service a well-deserved 5 out of 5. Overall, our experience at this Chinese restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food and decoration fell slightly short of our expectations, the outstanding customer service left a lasting impression. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond to cater to dietary needs and provides excellent service, this restaurant is worth a visit. The concept of drive-thru Chinese food is absolutely genius, and this place definitely delivers on that convenience factor. I pulled up and, even though the parking lot was pretty packed, I only had to wait about 10 minutes in my car before my food was ready. Not bad at all for the crowd! I ordered two egg rolls, a large wonton soup and the family-size chicken egg fu young, which came with white rice.. The total came to about $30, which felt pretty reasonable for the amount of food. As for the food itself, it was just okay. The flavors were pretty mild, and I found the egg fu young gravy to be lighter in color than I expected, which threw me off a bit. It wasn't bad, just not as flavorful as I hoped. The egg rolls and wonton soup were fine but nothing special. Overall, the convenience of the drive-thru is a huge plus, and I'm definitely open to giving it another shot before I make any final calls on the food quality. If you're in a pinch and looking for fast Chinese food, this is a solid option, but if you're after something more flavorful, it might not hit the spot. read more

This is my favorite drive thru. Ordering ahead by phone and picking up makes it even quicker. Everything they serve is cooked to order. Large and reasonably priced meals.
