    Bourbon chicken combo
    Jensen H.

First time here I'm from Florida and I have tried many Chinese food places and this one was honestly delicious I ordered the bourbon chicken combo that came with rice. The bourbon chicken was sweet like it should it be. It was delicious I would definitely buy it again. I also ordered beef lo mein and it was okay. A little too savory then I like. Overall rate: 9/10 Bourbon chicken: 10/10 Fried rice: 10/10 Egg roll: 5/10 Beef lo mein: 4/10 Price: Bourbon chicken combo which comes with fried rice and a eggroll is $9.50. The small beef lo mein is $6.95 Would I order here again? YES

Hot and spicy shrimp with egg drop soup! Less than $5!

This place has awesome lunch specials! The price is less than $5 for a variety of items. Comes with either white rice or pork fried rice and a choice of wonton, egg drop, hot and sour soup, egg roll or soda! Can't beat this price! Service is good and workers are really friendly!

I am attempting to try everything on the menu, so far my favorite is the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The brown sauce reminds me of the Chinese food that I am used to back home (Hawaii). The Sesame Chicken was also really yummy. I'm not a fan of the Sweet and Sour Chicken, it seemed too plain to me. The Honey Chicken was good, but others in my family didn't like it - I DID!

My favorite thing to get from there is a difficult choice between the veggies and fried rice, or just the plain fried rice. Their egg drop soup is good, especially if you're feeling under the weather. I absolutely adore eating the wonton soup. And the egg rolls and spring rolls are definitely something to try for the books. And did I mention that they have fortune cookies? Delicious decadence at its damned finest. When you do go to try Ming Moon, please, take time to understand the menu and the ingredients in each dish. I swear they make their food with passion. But, if you do not take into consideration what ingredients are in a dish/item, and you proceed to get mad at the employees/restaurant for not living up to your expectations/standards, then that solely falls on you as the customer/guest for not taking the time to look at the menu/ingredients and ask questions if you have concerns or are curious. The staff/employees are so sweet. And very efficient when it comes to their food/work. Very clean restaurant as well. What a lovely restaurant and what lovely people who run this restaurant. Don't forget to give yourselves rest, TLC, stay hydrated, and take it easy! I hope/pray that Ming Moon stays around for many, many, many years. We'll definitely be back in the future! Blessings to you and yours to everyone at Ming Moon! Take care!

We've been back several times even though it takes an hour and 20 minutes to get there. There's not much to do in that little town and it's not close enough to Cincinnati to make it a good place to stop on the way there from here, but it's worth going there just to eat and return home. The dinner portion is large enough to split with another person if you don't eat lots of food. You would probably have leftovers if you got the dinner portion for only yourself. I haven't tried the buffet, so I can't comment on how fresh everything stays, and at this point during the Covid-19 pandemic, they aren't serving meals inside anyway, only take-out meals. It's not a large restaurant--it's actually rather small. It's not decorated like expensive restaurants but it's clean and works for us. We don't go there often because of the drive time, but if it were in our town, we'd eat there at least twice a month, if nor weekly. We've even driven there once just for take-out, then ate in the car and went home. Prices are reasonable, just a little more than you'd pay for a McDonald's quarter pounder meal for a lunch entrée, and a couple dollars more for dinner size portions, which you can get even at lunch time if you're really hungry. The lady who runs the place is very nice. Wait times for our meals were reasonable, but it wasn't crowded since I often eat at odd times of the day when there's not a lot of people in the room.

I ended up ordering a few appetizers. The Hot & Sour Soup was the standout... flavorful, comforting, and easily a 5/5 on a cold n wet day. Unfortunately, the rest didn't quite hit the mark. The shrimp rolls were below average... mostly lettuce, the shrimps were dried out, and they took about 10 extra minutes to come out. The crab rangoon was the biggest disappointment; the filling had an unpleasant smell and tasted like heavy, clotted cream cheese and there wasn't even an iota of imitation crab meat to justify that name. My friends ordered egg rolls, which actually looked pretty good (I'd say a solid 4/5), and Singapore noodles, which unfortunately looked underwhelming. Overall, there are a few bright spots, especially the soup, but the food quality and atmosphere were inconsistent. With some updates and more attention to freshness and flavor, this place could really improve.

He was attentive and kind. We enjoyed the lovers plate. Basically, an appetizer sampler. Everything on the plate was perfectly fried. The flavors were good. The Singapore noodles were not what I am used to. Ordinarily it's a green curry, there was no taste of curry. The shrimp were cooked well and it was served with a hot sauce on the plate. It wasn't bad, just not as expected. My dining partner had the paradise fish. A fried filet of fish with vegetables and a sweet sauce. She really enjoyed the meal. All in all, a good experience. We will go back and I plan to try the pho on our next trip.
