3.5 stars. 5 stars for location and view. Lush historic backwater deep in colonial era Kentucky. Historic plaques on the road by the bridge. Nice service. Locals and those passing by... sit outside on a Spring afternoon.

The food was really delicious and the atmosphere is really nice, but the service was awful. We had to ask for our waitress twice first time for refills the second time for the check.. and then a couple actually got up and left because they were never waited on awful awful service

We ate most of it. It didn't have enough beer cheese.

We really enjoyed this meal. We have come here off and on over the last 25 years and not as much in the last 5 years but the last two times that we have come, we have really enjoyed it. I love the fried catfish dinner! The Shrimp and Grits are awesome too! The service is a bit lacking. They brought out the salad just a few minutes before all of the entrees and I believe there is no excuse for that. We really like the atmosphere and food is good. We started with the Beer Cheese Platter with Hot Pretzels and it was absolutely delicious. We will come back again soon.

We stopped on a whim because the last time we ate at Hall's was long before the flood of '21. The River House feel was not lost in the renovations. If you are looking to eat at a true Kentucky landmark, you won't be disappointed. The wait staff worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with our meals and in today's market, that means a lot to me. My fish and chips dinner was a nice change of pace for me. The fish was a dark golden color that tasted great. My wife had the catfish and it was better than my meal! The breading on her fish was perfect! Not too salty, a perfect light golden hue. I like my tartar sauce a little tangier than theirs but we had a great meal and great service. We will be back!

Food was delicious. We left absolutely full! We ordered Fish and Chips, Chicken Alfredo and an order of Crab Cakes for our entrees. For drinks we had the Georgia Peach alcoholic beverage and sweet tea. For dessert we got the brownie a la mode and cheesecake with Carmel sauce and one with caramel, chocolate and raspberry sauces. We also had appetizers of mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes.

My wife and I stayed at the Fort Boonsboro State Park for 12 days. There's not a lot in the meeting area, but we found this place to be fairly good. We had the same waitress and bartender on two of our four visits. The staff as a whole were very friendly and polite. The food was pretty good as well. The fried green tomatoes were yummy! I really enjoyed the beer cheese soup. The most spectacular dish was the banana pepper brined chicken wings. They were had a tempura batter as well. So yummy! They do have Wi-Fi, which makes it a bonus. We thought the decor was spot on for the area. Also thought the water level indicator of previous floodings was amazing! You won't go wrong if you come here.

The Good I consider myself some what of a seafood boil "snob" being that I lived in Las Vegas around some of the best restaurants in the world and have had seafood all over the country. There isn't any seafood in the small town I live in so every time I go out of town for work I stop to get seafood. The appeal of the Storming Crab: this place is located just down from the Fayette Mall which use to be a booming shopping center. The restaurant has a HUGE Fiberglass Crab on the outside of the building and hip graffiti painting outside. Inside the restaurant reminds you of being on a ship if it was autographed by everyone you know. The host was nice and so was my server who was super sweet. The Bad (?): I had been here a few times before and remember being disappointed because of the butter reminded me of the jug of melted popcorn butter instead of real melted butter. - However this time it didn't taste that way so I'm not sure if they changed it but it really won me back as a customer. The Good: Something I did find today that I have never found before is their seafood bread! I don't know what kind of witchcraft it is but it is one of the best things I've had. Think cheddar bay biscuits x100! Overall the Storming Crab is a solid choice. As someone who is a seafood person, if you get a boil, and know how to peel seafood, get the head ON shrimp vs. the head off- it should be fresher and more meat.

Rating: (3.6/5)…read more Proud Mary BBQ is one of those places where the atmosphere is the main attraction. The view of the river is fantastic, and with the live music and beach-like vibe right on the water, it's easy to see why people love spending time here. That's honestly the biggest reason we keep coming back. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, which adds to the experience. My only complaint on the drinks side is that I wish the beer was served a little colder. As for the food, it's okay overall. This visit I ordered the brisket grilled cheese on Texas toast. The brisket was good, but I wish the bread had been toasted more and that there was a little more cheese. Even with those complaints, I'd probably order it again. The appetizers are really the way to go here. The catfish bites are a definite win and something I'd highly recommend. Overall, we love coming here for the atmosphere, the river views, and the live music. I can't believe this is my first review after so many visits. It's a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend an afternoon or evening by the water.

We did wait a bit on everything due to them being busy- which we expected since it's a popular place and it was a Saturday night. She apologized for the weight and encouraged to get some appetizers to hold us over. The brisket queso was a special, and was "meh" for me. Not worth the $15 on it. Our waitress recommended getting the brisket grilled cheese and it was delicious, I also liked the potato salad it had a good flavor. We also got a bananas foster dessert to take home and it was really the icing on the cake! Will go back here again.

The staff were incredibly sweet and also very busy. They didn't have much time for check ins outside of taking orders and dropping off food. I got the spicy beef ramen and it was really good. I probably should've asked for light spicy but the spice was like the red pepper paste on top so it was possible not to mix it all in. It wasn't too spicy for me, but it definitely woke my sinuses up. The beef off the bone was awesome! The other beef style was fine. I really enjoyed the boba tea and it was refreshing paired with the spicy soup. The server recommended her favorite, honeydew, and I added strawberry boba. Overall delicious, quick stop!

Probably pretty good for around here but I've had some really amazing ramen in CA and it doesn't compare. The pork in the spicy ramen was ok, and the broth was flavorful. The bok Choy could have been charred and it would have been better. The sushi menu is extremely limited, and they didn't even have a spicy tuna roll and couldn't prepare one. That's a pretty basic tool to not offer. So I wanted to try and find a new spot, but this isn't hitting for me. The big ick for me was the flys. They were landing on our table and food and it was really gross.
