Oh my! I was trying to figure out something good to order in for New Year's Eve. Chinese food is definitely not one of my favorites. When I tell you, this food was absolutely amazing, it was so delicious - everything I ordered. I have never been able to find a good Chinese place until now and I'm so glad I decided to do it at the last minute, and believe me, I was extremely hesitant! Do not order from this place.... they didn't give me my drinks (3 sodas), and I ordered the house wonton soup (no shrimp), and the shrimp only comes with 6 (I only got 4!!!). I ordered 1 pint of ham fried rice, 1 pint of shrimp fried rice, and 2 of the combinations plates that contained sweet & sour chicken with vegetable fried rice extra green onions and a egg roll. It costed about $45 that was reasonable. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. It's carry out only. I enjoyed everything!!! I always ask for the sweet & sour sauce on the side but I was pleasantly surprised when she said it came on the side automatically. Some places charge extra for that. And the vegetable fried rice was awesome, so many vegetables sautéed to perfection. Yes this is my new Chinese food home!! And the chicken was battered light and crispy. I was here visiting my aunt and really wanted some shrimp fried rice. She recommended this place. The rice is amazing! And they aren't too stingy with the amounts either, thank goodness I ordered a few wings with it but they weren't the best. They tasted a bit mushy and soft. I'm from Atlanta, so I know good chicken the seasoning and the crust itself wasn't too bad either. I just wish the inside was more throughly cooked. read more

I am very surprise the health dept had not violated them. The food has no taste. I should have known when so showed to pick up the good and seen the pick up area. Filthy. So I roamed from Chinese joint to Chinese joint hoping to stumble into one worth writing home about. ...It finally happened. I've ordered from here twice and it was outstanding both times. The food was fresh, tasty, flavorful... The fried items are a little oily for my taste, but it's very good overall. The sesame chicken is legit as is the house fried rice. Also, I've been very pleased with how fast my order is prepped and sent off (we order via doordash). They'll be my go-to place for Chinese from now on! read more

Great Chinese chow! We have ordered three times now through Door dash and it's been good every time! Nice to know that we have a go-to place with reliable food and nice portions. Can't beat the $4.99 lunch special. China Villa is in a strip mall in the tiny city of Centerline. It has the typical dark red booths and Asian decor complete with waving cats and fat Budda's. The service was fast and friendly. Everything was good except the almond boneless chicken was overdone and a tad too tough. The sesame chicken was so ghastly and inedible I would have better luck digesting three square meals a day of maggots in a Filipino prison. Honestly I couldn't even confirm if it actually was chicken. Some pieces were soft and edible but the rest were practically impossible to penetrate with my fork or teeth. I just bopped in for lunch because I don't do Quiznos (they measure the food on a gram scale like it's drugs or something) and there wasn't anything around and I see this sign in the window "$4.50 Lunch Special", I check my phone for the time aaaand i'm in a big red booth. Place was empty on a Saturday during lunch, but the carry out was constant. I mean like a person picking up an order every 5 minutes constant. They probably put a couple hundred into the register while I ate lunch. I got me some ABC, for those who need help: Almond Boneless Chicken. It's like a test for me to see if a place is up to snuff. Everyone has this classic on the menu, but not all ABC is the same. This one was fantastic, just the way I remember it as a kid. Gravy was thick, chicken was moist and battered to perfection and nice fluffy rice. The waitress, I think an owner, was fantastic and she took very good care of me and the chef (definitely an owner) was very pleasant as well. We ordered from Wok to you. I had spine surgery and when having pain, cannot pick food up. The food was delivered properly. I was unloading the bag and took out the boxes that were wrapped in saran wrap. The last box was not wrapped or shut. I pulled it out and All of my sesame chicken was at the bottom of the bag! I called Wok to you and they told me to call Chinavilla. So I called and explained to the girl that answered. She got the owner on the phone who was SCREAMING at me that I need to call Wok to you. "NOT MY PROBLEM" Over and over and slandering Wok to you. We have only ordered from this restaurant since we moved in the area. She blamed Wok to you even though the restaurant did not saran wrap my meal like the others. I am a firm believer of not eating food from angry people. I was very nice to the owner and she ended up making me cry at the end. I WILL NEVER order from this place again. Crab rangoons and eggrolls were good. Combo plates come with soup which was nice. Our drinks were reasonably priced and strong. Chicken/ beef dishes are not fresh and rice is stuck together to the carry out containers. You would maybe have better luck with a veggie dish, but I can only review the chicken and beef dishes I have eaten. I would not return here unless the quality vastly improves. read more

The first time I came here was when I was a little kid in the 70s, Through the years I would return to reminisce my taste buds. I haven't been here for at least 2 years and I was in the neighborhood and thought " why not ". I got the General Tso Lunch combo to go ( Mild ), got home and dug in. It was OK but I'm Not sure if there was to much of one thing or not enough of another thing. The price was good and the portions were even better, But lacking any pzazz it used to Have. The egg roll with the plum sauce was OK, the fried rice, a tad greasier then I remember but it was alright, the chicken a little over sauced and a tad dry in the middle. and a couple of broccoli spears in the corner of the box untouched by the sauce. I did enjoy my lunch but just wished it was the old days, Maybe it was just one of those off days restaurants go through sometimes, I wont turn my back on China Villa this time, I'll check in on them again in the future and see if things have changed for the Good the worse. read more
