Chinese restaurant that serves authentic menu. Dining area is huge and it is like a 酒樓 (Cantonese wine house). It is so outdated and dark. Across the street from GM tech center but there are barely any customers during lunch time. Came here for dim sum and the dishes are lukewarm. Ain't it supposed to be straight from a steamer, why everything is lukewarm. Quality is meh, recipe is wrong on some dishes. Beside the dim sum that they can buy in bulk, food in general are greasy and cold.

This place is definitely worth checking out! We came for dim sum at around 11am and were SO impressed. Everything seemed flavorful, not greasy, and really fresh. The shiu mai was packed with shrimp and the chicken feet were fall off the bone! The room looks bright and welcoming, reminds me of celebratory times, growing up, and the service was prompt and straightforward. Will be coming back again soon, hopefully!

Unfortunately a very average dim sum place. Big spacious environment. Service was prompt. Lots of people pushing carts. However the food just didn't satisfy. The items in general were all average in comparison to other SE michigan dim sum places. The rice noodle roll was small. The chive dumpling was too doughy. Chicken feet was average. The pork and vege dumpling - obvious that the wrapper was not home made and stale. Won't be back for dim sum.

The food was immaculate and the service was impeccable. I enjoyed the black soda ice cream float most of all

Second time here. It is in a weird building but there is plenty of parking. Unpleasant odor by the entrance, but after I entered the dining area it subsided. The food was hit or miss, but no dish was awful. The chow fun and spare ribs were decent. The shumai had a chewy filling (not minced enough) and the stuffed banana leaves filling was not the freshest. The stuffed eggplant was good. I was in the mood for this style of food but I will seek out other options.

Food was good. But it was very rude for the waitress to demand more tip. Probably due to us being the only table there.

What time is dim sum available? I know that the Shangri-la in midtown has it in the middle of the day, while the one in West Bloomfield serves it from 10:40pm-2am.

Good news, we ended up here and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience here. The staff was so kind and helpful. This place also had a surprising amount of people coming in for lunch on a random Tuesday, but that is good for this place. We started with the Cantonese shrimp noodles. They are so delicious and nostalgic of places I would go to in Toronto in my childhood. The portion was so huge I now have noodles for days, which we are super happy about. We had the BBQ buns and pineapple buns, both really sweet, sticky and delicious. We had the rice noodles with shrimp and either beef or pork (not sure which one I actually ordered), I crave those, especially the shrimp ones. We tried the fried, crispy shrimp bean curd rolls with plum sauce and a favorite of mine, sticky rice. As always, we had tons of leftovers and look forward to having our meal for lunches and dinners this week. Plus, now that I know they have a great selection and have better hours than some of the other places, we will be back. My child wants to try the sesame chicken and some other dishes on their general menu.

Inside feels very nostalgic with decorations, especially being inside of a mall. It's one of my favorite Sunday morning go-tos after a night out. Overall, a great option for dim sum in the area! 4/5

I ordered Shui Mai, Fried Shrimp Balls and Steamed Pork Dumplings. Everything was delicious but the Shui Mai could have been a bit warmer. The menu isn't your usual Chinese-American fare. With offerings of pork buns, soup dumplings, squid, tripe and chicken feet, it seems more authentic Chinese cooking. I can't complain about the service. I got seated right away and my waitress was attentive and served me my food in short order. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. The second room has a beautiful stained glass dome and the entire place is nicely decorated with paintings and sculptures. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be returning.

Maybe 3.5 stars. The first bite had a sharp flavor note that I didn't care for, but it wasn't noticeable after that bite. The broccoli was fresh and had a decent texture. I almost ordered the Hong Kong Low Mein, but decided against it as the current price seemed high for noodles, but my partner ended up getting it and I am so glad I didn't order it. There is an absolute ton of it, but the oil is strange, the noodles are strange, and there aren't many things in it, just a gigantic heap of strangely greasy noodles. We also got Hot and Sour Soup which was more like a very thick Hot and Sweet Stew with corn(?) and a LOT of bamboo. It took lime juice and soy to be edible. I don't write reviews often, but this is the weirdest Chinese food I've ever eaten anywhere. Maybe it's the Hong Kong factor or maybe the family that inherited it just have their way of doing things. I would not order from this restaurant again. There's better delivery-grade Chinese to be had in Oak Park/Ferndale and beyond.
