The food was great, hot, and served up fast. This is my new takeout Chinese place in my neighborhood. The prices are also very reasonable.

I specifically tried 3 different combos, on 3 different days before reviewing & coming to a decision as I live minutes away and really gave it a chance. It's not good, and if you're Mexican, Es No Bueno read more

The answer to my poor comments about this business were a complete fabrication. They claim they were too busy at their lunchtime.. there was no one else when I complained about the quality of a recent order. The just walked away just not wanting to hear me and not even we're sorry. Now with their nonsense reply I feel like disputing the charge. Hope others read this and stay away read more

Great fried rice!!! Fast service! I order from them often and am usually satisfied!!!

After about 10 years working in the restaurant industry I was always there to make sure that the customers were happy. Unfortunately many of the times that meant replacing food that there was nothing wrong with. If a customer says the 5 egg rolls were over cooked then I would replace them. I also has doughnuts that just weren't like they normally are. I brought them back to be replaced and was told that they don't do this. My mouth stayed open is disbelief that they weren't going to replace the food. I didn't come back for money. I was told that 2 egg roll would be replaced. I had 5 and uneaten doughnuts. The counter girl shamed me and was so hateful about bringing them back that she pointed out dental issues I have to let heal naturally before finishing off work. She said "You can't eat them because you got no teeth". I WAS MORTIFIED AND IN TEARS NOW LEAVING with no egg rolls or doughnuts. My husband and I spent $34 and they wouldn't allow us to return anything. read more

Good American Chinese dishes. I would say they need to up their portions a little bit on the meat and vegetables in the house fried rice. That's my go to Mail, haven't been back. read more

Tasty food. Good prices and fast and easy online ordering. First time ordering online and trying out this restaurant. Very easy online ordering and prices are also very fair. The food is tasty and portions are decent too. The order was ready very fast and the people inside are friendly. We will return. read more

The guys are awesome not even a hurricane coming towards them will make them close up shop. And food is not too bad either.

Chose China Taste because our normal place was closed. "Blown" away like The White House on the food and online ordering. Delivery service was on point. Ate at home so the ambiance was obviously fire (my wife's a killer interior designer). Do it people. It's the JAM. read more

We have ordered many times. Always very fast. Very tasty meals. Usually enough for two meals. The prices are most reasonable. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend. read more

I am surprised this place is still allowed to operate. I ordered door twice and got sick both times. The food tasted old and was not good. I avoided it for a year until friends wanted to order there. I was hesitant to go back but did and once again the food was as stale, old and made everyone sick. I went in the next day to talk with the owners about it and literally saw roaches on the counter. I will never go back again. Be warned. This place e is a health hazard. read more

I've been on a quest to find half way decent Chinese food in my area. I think I have finally found it. We ordered the General Tsaos Chicken, pork fried rice and egg rolls. It was all very tasty. We did not order any soup but it was included in the order. I will definitely order from here again. read more

Awsome food, authentic and very tasty! My only issue is that i asked for spicy and they never do it. But there still #1 in my book

Great spot for to-go food during the pandemic. They run a great system for to-go food where you don't even go inside to retrieve your food. Everything is very reasonable, the food is always hot and they have lots of options. I have ordered twice thru their website and never once has there been any faults or delays. I am impressed with their service, given how affordable the food is. I am chinese, and although it isn't the best I have ever had... it does satisfy my craving and I will keep going. The crab rangons and the lunch specials are large portioned and priced nicely where I can order family style for my family of two. Oink oink! read more

This place sent out neighborhood flyers as a new Chinese restaurant. Walking in the door, there was nothing new about its interior so perhaps it's just under new ownership. I ordered the small size of each item as I was eating myself. I was excited to see cold sesame noodles on the menu as it's one of my favorites. I also was anxious to try the boneless spareribs. Then pork with broccoli. I tasted the cold sesame noodles first and they were awful so didn't take another bite. They were greasy spicy noodles with no flavor. I've made much better ones in my own kitchen. The boneless spareribs were tasty and enjoyable. Lastly, the pork and broccoli also lacked of much flavor. The pork was dry but the broccoli was cooked perfectly. The three dishes was over $17.00. Still in search of a good Chinese restaurant in Pinellas county! read more

Best Chinese in the area by far. Kind, hardworking staff. Fast service even with large orders or on holidays.

High quality delicious cuisine. Fried dumplings and their wings are my favorite. They also have a perfect egg roll. The food is always piping hot when I get it delivered. read more

This rating would be four stars for the food- I'm deducting the star because the AC stinks and they don't let you have a glass of water you have to pay for water. Now let's concentrate on the food! I had to Szechuan pork and my husband Szechuan chicken lunch special. Came with pork fried rice or white rice and choice of soups or egg roll. We had the eggrolls and fried rice which were 10 out of 10 they were great. The food itself was hot tasty moist and very New York City style. No frills at an excellent price of $5.75 plus tax. We will be back. You order at the counter, pay at the counter, and a waitress will bring you the food to your table in Styrofoam boxes. Not happy that the food is served in Styrofoam - but it does keep the food hot and the portions are large enough that you may want to take some away. Staff seemed friendly and the cook is cooking right in front of you so you can see what you're getting. Very happy with this place I just wish they would change the AC situation and let me have a glass of water at no charge! read more

China Taste is a new york style hole in the wall restaurant with excellent customer service and kitchen staff that greeted us when we walked in. The food is always amazing and the portion sizes are generous for the price. I highly recommend if looking for convenient, fast, and delicious food. read more

Wow! Just got an order delivered and was pleasantly suprised. Ordered bourbon chicken, which is delicious and shrimp egg foo young. Not only was the latter some of the best Ihave had, it had 8-10 large shrimp per patty!! No salad shrimp here. Prices are more than fair too considering the high quality ingredients, but also ENORMOUS quantity of food! You won't be dissapointed, but break out the sweatpants! read more

There were some spotty reviews so I was hesitant but it turned out to be really good. Don't let the empty seats fool you, this place does a lot of take out gauging from the hour plus I was there. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table so if you are looking for plates and fancy table service this isn't it. The food more than makes up for it and the staff are supper friendly. The service was pleasant and she did come to the table to refill waters and ask it everything was ok. read more

Called for delivery and it was on time and accurate. That is why this place got 1 star. The food...what is it...full of MSG? Both hubby and I felt uncomfortable afterward. I spend a good deal of the evening in the bathroom being violently ill. UGH! Below mediocre in taste. read more

Wow! Again!. My meal, Chicken with vegys, DELICIOUS!! Delivered hot and fast. Thank you again for a wonderful meal.

Closet to NY Chinese I've found in Fla. good for take out, not a dine in place. They could dress up the place a bit.

The food here is delicious and there is an extensive menu. Lots of vegetarian options. We tried the vegetable egg fu young, broccoli with garlic sauce, broccoli with snow peas, vegetable lo mein and general Tso's chicken. Everything was delicious and not oily at all. Also, very fast delivery. This is our new go to for Chinese take out. read more

Ordered Chen Mei Fin, couple soups, fried dumplings and sesame noodle for delivery. Soup was good, fried dumplings were perfect but the Chen Mei Fin was dry and the sesame noodle was basically spaghetti with not sauce and hardly any seeds. First time here very disappointed. read more

I love it here, I go all the time for the lunch special 5.75 for a huge portion of honey chicken and fried rice! The workers are so friendly and nice! Only problem was my girlfriend ordered some veggie meal and she said it tasted like lighter fluid. Then she gave it one other shot again another day and the veggie meal still tasted like lighter fluid so I wouldn't recommend being a vegetarian and going here but hey that's just her opinion. read more

I decided to get some food from China Taste because it was very close by and my wife and I wanted Chinese food for dinner. I have to say I was quite disappointed in the food. We ordered the beef and broccoli and the curry chicken. The meat was very very low quality and tasted like they use just the fatty part of the meat. Yes for the beef and chicken both. It did not taste real! The sauce on both these dishes had no taste. It was bland and very flavorless. I'm sorry I don't usually do such poor reviews but I was very dissatisfied with the quality of this restaurant. I hope they improve their food 100X as it would be very nice to have a pleasant meal from them. read more

I ordered take out , and ordered Chow Fun and Seafood Delight. First off I did not receive Chow Fun( it supposed to be wide noodles) but what I believe is Mei Fun; I guess they expected me not to know the difference. I will post Pictures. Then I ordered the most expensive dish of Seafood Delight and only got a few pieces of seafood plus the thinnest and worst lobster sauce I ever tasted. I won't come back. read more

China Taste - Barely any chicken in my Kung Pao Chicken. - Chinese Near Me - Largo, Florida

I was introudced to china taste about 3 weeks ago when my boyfriend went and got us some food from there. They have some of the best food in town, and they give you a lot of food for the low(cheap). I mean the plates are heavy they really give you enough to for dinner and enough to take for the lunch the next day, so i guess your asking why did i give them one star. Well it started two days ago when i went to go get some food from them I ordered the orange chicken combo platter with house fried rice. Now the food was really good until i found a small hair in it the hair was half black and half gray. I called them as soon as i found it and they told me they would replace it the next day for free. So The next day as promised they replaced the food, time luckily before i ate the food i inspected it and found the longest curliest people of hair I have ever seen in my food. The owner told me to come in and show him he was rude offensive and even tried to short change me. This whole thing is sad because the food is bomb. read more

New owners have made some changes and you can see inside the restaurant now. It's much more inviting! Restaurant appears to be very clean inside and staff was extremely nice. We ordered the pu pu platter and the cashew nut chicken combination. The cashew nut chicken was great. Vegetables were extremely fresh, chicken was tasty. Everything on the pu pu platter was also very fresh and delicious. They cooked everything fresh for the order. The shrimp and wings were the stars of the platter in my opinion. Eggrolls were good as well. The only thing I didn't care for was the egg drop soup. The crackles they give you for the soup were different from what I have had before and I didn't care for them. The soup itself was a bit thick. I'll try a different kind next time but I'll definitely be a regular customer here. read more

I recently moved back to Florida from Los Angeles and in LA there are many great restaurants, including awesome Chinese. I unfortunately wasn't impressed. You can find lunch specials in LA everywhere for the same price and they actually seat you at a table that has silverware and the Chinese Zodiac placemat and you get soup or salad, egg roll and entree. And they even usually give you a fortune cookie AND you're allowed to have a glass of water in a real glass, even with lemon, for no charge. They were nice enough, but didn't like me asking too many questions. Finally, I get the food and it is LOADED in sodium. And had little to no flavor, except for salt. Best of luck to them, but they really need to step up the quality and service. Los Angeles rents are sky high compared to Florida. If they can give high quality food, service and value and survive. So can you. read more
