White rice it came with was fresh. They accommodated my kid's request for plain lo mein, and she was happy with it, but I didn't care for it- the noodles tasted like they had absorbed too much soy sauce. Dumplings seemed fresh and obviously house made, and moist/juicy almost like soup dumplings, but I won't order again as they only have pork and it was not my preference. Same with the crab rangoons- my kids were happy, but the filling was a bit on the sweet side for me. All in all I am thrilled because I finally found someplace in town that makes excellent sesame chicken. This is honestly the best I've had in St Pete! I think for the rest it just wasn't my palate/preference, not that any of it was bad, everything did seem freshly house made. I need to explore the more traditional menu more, a few people had soup that looked good. Their business is clearly mostly takeout, but they do have 5 tables inside. We will be back!

We've ordered the beef lo mein, veg fried rice, egg foo young, crab Rangoon, spring rolls and egg rolls twice now. The lo mein is okay plenty of meat though; the fried rice has a good amount of fresh and well cooked veggies. The egg foo young has been good (tried chicken and pork), but the gravy is the highlight (sometimes hard to find a place with good gravy). The egg rolls and spring rolls are pretty typical, well cooked. The crab rangoons don't have much of a crab or spring onion flavor. But they are very creamy, with a tiny hint of sweetness. I personally like them with spicy mustard which the restaurant has available. You can also easily order online or schedule orders in advance. Overall a good option for a Chinese take out night.
