Hostess was great. Food was at a great price with large servings. We had broccoli, beef, pineapple, chicken, cashew chicken, and fried rice the broccoli, beef and pineapple chicken came out the recommendations and we're really good. The pineapple chicken had great flavor and heat on the back end. The cashew chicken was kind of plain And surprisingly dull. The eggrolls were cold. But the food price was really good. All of this was $40. We'll go back again and recommend it to everyone. We'll get the general's chicken next time. read more

Called in to put my order in and they took my order, told me that they are only taking cash which is fine. I went through and ordered an orange chicken and a half order of crab. Somehow I was charged for 3, but they were given to me. Orange chicken is not like any I have had before. Kind of spicier than I like, but it is good. A lot of food for $5.99. Did find a hair in my food. read more

Well what can I say. The food is just there. All of the chicken orders are fried nuggets with a different loose sauce poured over them. The egg rolls are small and soggy, the Rangoon was nothing special. We both had fried rice, again just white rice with soy. I was concerned as I watched the cook fry two full baskets of chicken and hung them over the fryer and they were just left there without being touched for over 30 minutes. Very unclean restaurant. My chicken had a black beetle in it. The floors to the bathrooms look like they have never been swept... and the bathrooms? Even worse. Trash scattered all around the toilet. Feces and urine on the floor next to dead bugs. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a couple of weeks. Really bad. The sauce on the chicken was very good but that's about it. Fried rice tastes like plastic. Just a bad experience. Hot inside the restaurant and no ice in the water cups. Do not come here, there are better Chinese places in this town. read more

I was in tonight to pick up our order. Two of the 3 entrees we ordered were completely the wrong thing. When I called in to talk to them I was told unless I was willing to drive back into town they would not do anything. It's a 25 min drive. I was open to being able to get my order comped next I was in town. They would not and hung up on me. I have been going there at least a few times a month for the last few years. This place is no longer a buffet, but they are just as good! They have a drive thru window too. Their menu pricing is very reasonable - cheap as heck, plus you get an abundance of food! A large drink is .99... 6 crab Rangoon is like $1.99. Service is also fast. I recommend this place. Also, their food is made homemade and not to mention AUTHENTIC. We eat here at least once a week at the office. I have tried several dishes and all have been great. Cashew Chicken, Chicken Hunan, Lemon Chicken, Orange Chicken, General chicken, Lo Mein and a few more. The lo mein is amazing and I always swap my rice for lo main. there are some poor reviews here but we've had the Hunan Chicken, #25 on the menu, several times and it was very good and fresh, complete with the snap peas and baby corns and VERY spicy, which they will make special if you ask for it! (unlike Bamboo Garden in carthage, where they won't accommodate ANY special requests.) so try the Hunan Chicken for a nice meal! read more

Absolutely horrible there was a young child in the drive thru window who apparently was a workers child who kept sticking her finger in the pop machine and licking it and then repeating. Had take out. Rice was gummy and had NO FLaVOR. Broccoli chicken was ok for flavor but the pieces of chicke and broccoli were way to big and were hard to cut up to mouth sized pieces with a plastic fork. Also ordered lemon chicken, got home and found we had orange chicken. Should of tasted it at the window to verify correct food? Geeze. China Taste has moved to Garrison Ave. The Buffet is much smaller and the food is luke warm. The coffee was good but I never got a refill. We were there at 12:15 so there is no excuse for the food not being hot. The selection was disappointing. read more
