Pricey and tasteless cashew chicken. The chicken pieces were awesome. It was the sauce. Very bland but cashews were nicely toasted and green onion fresh. We didn't get the crab Rangoon we paid for. The cashier didn't seem interested in making amends unless we came to get them. We had delivery bc of the flu. read more

Holy Crap this place is expensive! Their prices don't even match their printed menu on the counter. We ordered take out and it was $11.98 per entree. And the egg rolls are $1.40 and they are tiny. We could have went to Magic Noodle for that price and been waited on. The entree's are not very big either. Not at all worth $12. We won't be going back. read more

I'm a lover of Chinese food. I love Egg-Foo young (there are different types of Egg-Foo Young that I love; Shrimp Egg-Foo Young and chicken Egg-Foo Young.) I noticed you do not have this in your menu and therefore I am unable to provide you with a 5 star and only gave you 3 star rating.. I also feel that you use too much sugar and MSG and I prefer more spice with a little heat . There is other Chinese restaurants I have visited outside of Joplin. Springfield, MO has one that makes a delicious Egg-Foo-Young and has the best Beef-BBQ ribs and two types of Egg rolls that are always fresh; steaming hot and full of Shrimp or Pork along with veges mixture. I will not give their name, unless you want me to do a review. All I can say, is Joplin, MO does not have any better Chinese anywhere and I've tried them all for the last several years I moved here from Chicago. My family and I love ordering from this place! The flavoring is so good and you always have plenty of extra sauce with your chicken! A lot of places don't put enough sauce on their chicken. I do not know how this place has so many good reviews. I thought it would be good due to the rating vs other Chinese foods in the area, but it is one of the worst! I am not exaggerating, here is why: As I was eating I thought about how disappointing the food was, but then as I proceeded to eat my rating dropped more. I am not even picky about my food but it was bad enough that I wanted to comment. General Tao's Chicken - It came with fried rice. The rice was bland, dry, no flavor. The chicken and sauce tasted sugary, and both the chicken and rice tasted like mall type Chinese food run of the mill that you have tasted many times before, kept under hot lamp. If it is not kept under hot lamp, then that is not good as that is what it tasted like. This order was between 12 PM and 1 PM, so not off hours to even give a reason for this. Egg drop soup - Again not much flavor, almost watered down taste compare to other locations in SWMO. While I was not enjoying any part of my meal, I had a staple in my soup. I am guessing that the bag that had the crunchies had the staple in it, and went into the bag, and thus into the soup. They probably should not staple this bag. Was not given a spoon to eat the soup either. If I was eating at more of a fast food type chain, or mall, then this is what I would expect. A local chinese restaurant with good reviews?
