07-10-2018: Lunch Time! Came to visit a relative in Webb City. Tried the "Bamboo" Restaurant. Had the General Tao's plate. Very good! Better than any other Asian Restaurant. Saw some action in the kitchen as the plate were being prepared. Yes their stir fried rice was white. But it was not mushy but delicious and cooked well. All it needed was some soy sauce for coloring and an egg to make it look like other Asian Restaurants. Customer Service was excellent! I will visit this place again! read more

We used to love going to Bamboo because you would get a lot for your money. This most recent time we ordered it was very disappointing. My husband had the smallest portion he's ever had and we ordered chicken in the stirfry and there was one little piece of chicken in the entire meal. Mine was fine with everything as ordered but his was extremely disappointing. I hope they do better next time or we will not be back. read more

I Bamboo! I have been going here for years and it never disappoints me! My favorite is the Orange Chicken. Friendly staff as well.

Nope it's not good. Fried rice was white rice with just oil. The sweet and sour was soggy because they drenched it in sauce instead of putting it on the side. Lo mein noodles were also drenched in sauce that was way too sweet. All the meat was dried out or chewy. The egg rolls were mostly wrapper and very little filling. The wonton soup was made with egg drop soup instead of a broth and the wontons were big thick noodles with no meat in them. General tso was not spicy at all and was drenched in sauce that was way too sweet. All the sauces tasted like they were from a jar. Not good at all. read more

Never again. They were out of several things I wanted. Delivery driver didn't have mask on, seemed baffled by setting food on patio table where $ was & I gave nice tip. Crab rangoon tasted like it was all cream cheese. Egg rolls, mediocre at best. Moo Goo chicken with brown sauce tasted off. Felt sick to stomach for a few days after. Came in about 5:15 Monday night and ordered the CC/GC special and sat down. 5 minutes later a family of 3 order and sat down. 15 minutes later (20 for me have elapsed) I see one of the kitchen staff bringing out the food for the family of 3. Shortly after that 2 separate call in orders I heard being taken while I was seated came in and picked up their food. 30 minutes after I made my order I went to the counter to ask about my food and the extremely busy cashier (who did was doing a great job juggling walk-in, phone-in, drive-thru, and delivery orders) said my order would be right out. 5 minutes later (35 minutes have now elapsed for me) I receive most of my food but my soup is wrong. They take it away and 10 minutes later (as I'm putting my coat on to leave) they bring the right soup out. 50 minutes - for my cashew/general chicken while a 3 top ticket was served and 2 separate carry out orders as well as several drive-thru tickets were closed? I was surprised by the $10 price for the CC/GC special but the bowl of food was ENORMOUS and would have easily fed 2. The cashew chicken was good. The general chicken was just sweet (but tasty) and the noodles were just sweet. Egg roll tasted like the cabbage filling had been sitting too long and went bad though. The wonton soup that was wrong and had to be remade numbingly tasted like white pepper - after that I couldn't really taste much but the texture of the wonton it self was raw and doughy. I understand that this is a new facility for your franchise but the extreme wait time for such a common dish (as well as seeing SEVERAL orders made AFTER mine get fulfilled BEFORE mine) combined with the off putting soup, one note sweet entrees and sides, and the musty egg roll really just didn't live up to the hype . Sadly this was my first and only experience with your franchise - and even more sadly I think it will be the last. EDIT: Management did contact me the following morning to say the rush was unexpected but the slow service was unacceptable. They also offered a credit on my meal if I'd like to try again. read more

We just went through a hour of hell trying to get our food! We wait for 30 minutes in the drive trough because your lobby is still not open even though it's May 4th, We call you tell us to pull up to the front which we did in the last space on the road and wait another 30 minutes. Then call get put on hold for 10 minutes, get back in the drive trough wait another 10 minutes for more cars to go through only to be told you didn't see us in front??? Then don't offer to do anything to make it right? No! That doesn't work for me. We eat here twice a week! We won't be treated this way! Your manager needs to contact me. read more

My wife and I ate here tonight and we were impressed! I was hoping I would find a Springfield style cashew chicken place since moving to the area from springfield and I did. Egg drop soup is great and it's only a $1.00 on Mondays. The meal comes with an entree, two crab Rangoon, egg roll and fried rice. We will be going back to Bamboo. read more

Terrible, /terrible/ customer service. The person who runs the register in Webb City is always one of a list of snooty, arrogant teenage girls and today finally drove me to write a review. I called and before I could even say a word I was put on hold for at least 2 minutes. When I finally was put back on the line after considering hanging up more than once I hear a snarky tone on the other end ask "can I help you?" Like she really hated the fact she had to answer the phone. So finally I ask, "are your gift card machines still down?" To which I receive a lazy "yep". My family members went out of their way to buy a $25 gift card to this business and I have tried at least once a week for the past 2 months to use it and every time I get the same response "the gift card machine is still down". I honestly would like to know why it's okay for this business to rip people off selling gift cards that can't be used, and why it is that I'm treated like a pain-in-the-rear customer for asking a simple question. I haven't purchased any food from the restaurant since I was given the gift card, but I can promise one thing: As soon as I can use my gift card I'm going to, and I'm never going to spend another dime at a Bamboo restaurant again. Especially when they have much better competitors with customer service miles ahead of Bamboo's. Also as a side note: the portions are way too small, they're ridiculously overpriced, the chicken is always overcooked, the cashew sauce is mediocre and bland and overall I'd rate the food as good as the service. 1/5 read more
