In what world is this bourbon chicken? This is something they give inmates

This is slop food. This picture of the bourbon chicken will say it all. What a mistake. It's almost too comical to be upset about

This place is by far one of the best Chinese take out restaurants that I have had in a very long time! The first time my bf and i ordered from here we were blown away with the taste, freshness and quality of food. The crab rangoons had big chunks of crab meat and were creamy and perfectly crunchy with a light sweet and sour sauce that is absolutely delicious not like the typical deep red commercial sweet and sour sauce. This sauce tasted like as if it was freshly made just like the eggrolls and crab rangoons. I have ordered Mongolian beef and that was tender delicious while being sweet and savory along with a nice light crunch on the fresh veggies included in the Mongolian beef(forgot to take a picture because I just dived in) Last but not least, I have to mention the teriyaki chicken on a stick because that also was different from your usual average Chinese food takeout restaurant. This restaurant had Chicken teriyaki on a stick and instead of a slender piece of chicken skewered in a stick you get pretty much like a quarter of a chicken breast that has been tenderized and put on a skewer. This place this is definitely a bang for your book when you're looking for quality food that can be delivered to your humble abode I had a great price. If you do not try those Chinese takeout restaurant then you're definitely missing out on quality food service and punctual delivery times.

We have been looking for a new Chinese takeout restaurant since our favorite one closed. Most are mediocre, including this one. It is only takeout. I tried the Shrimp with garlic sauce Combination Plate ,includes pork fried rice, egg roll, and choice of wonton or egg drop or hot and sour soup. Comes either mil, medium, or spicy, ordered medium but not spicy at all. had lots of vegetables, peppers, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, onions, and mushrooms. My wife just wanted Wonton soup and an egg roll. Soup was decent but the egg roll was just ok. One and done.

The location of this strip mall can be summed up by this piece of advice; make sure you remove all valuables and lock your doors when you leave the car. The inside of the restaurant had 3 small tables if you wanted to eat there, but I don't know if I'd be able to; the smell of grease was extremely strong. They either need a better ventilation system, or a good cleaning, because there was a very strong smell while I was waiting for my food. One thing I greatly appreciated was that they give you a lot of food here, great portion size. The egg rolls were just okay, a bit too much dough, not enough good filling inside. The crab rangoon was fine, nothing to rave about. I was disappointed in the chicken fried rice, as I found both the fried rice, and the chicken in it a bit bland. The Kung Pao Chicken was a bit too much vegetables, not enough chicken. The Sesame Chicken was by far the star of the meal. As I said above, the portion size was large, and more importantly, the chicken tasted good. It was a little sweet, and just tasty overall. The price I thought was pretty reasonable compared to other places, especially for the amount of food you get. I can't say it's the best quality, but if you are looking for something inexpensive, this might be the place for you. Food (C), Pricing (C+), Atmosphere (D-), Service (B)

Excellent "New York Style" Chinese. We get delivery from here every few months and the food is consistently delicious.

Not good. Bland. Slow. Up charge for everything. Not that cheap either. No better than any other random Chinese restaurant anywhere else.

Good but not amazing. The delivery guy was interesting. We knew he was there by the singing.

Great chinese food w/ the great NYC taste, but light. Quick walk in service and quick delivery. Also, great customer service.

Eh. So/so. Decent prices. The rice and general Tso chicken was nowhere near as good as China Spring. My last resort Chinese restaurant.

Ordered the cucumber salad which was delicious but quite spicy for my taste. Wonton soup was perfectly hot and a great portion. Wontons were so yummy I wish there was more in the soup. To finish we shared the chocolate dumplings. My friend LOVES them from here! Warning the chocolate is HOT and OOZES! I wouldn't bite into this unless you want to burn your mouth potentially. Definitely open with a spoon first lol. 5 come and it was quite good! Cute spot and I would come back to try a big entree!

But there is barely anything in Hot & Sour Soup - less than one mushroom in slices, a few veggies, a few small pork strips, seasonings, broth and lots of thickener, likely cornstarch. So why are they charging $23!!!! for a serving for two? $23!!!! Come on, your overhead is a lot but this is ridiculous. That being said, it was okay but had an overpoweringly meaty broth, half strength would have conflicted with other flavors less. I do appreciate the stingy portion of fried noodles at the start - everyone always eats too many of them so that worked. Cocktails were badly timed and came out after the entrees. Service was good. The rest of the dishes also overpriced but much more goes into them than the soup. What we appreciated was the use of a broader selection of vegetables than in typical Chinese food. The moo-shu had delicious vegetables with small, transparent pancakes - the pork was fatty, though, and cloyingly sweet. The Red Pine salad was colorful and tasty, with another good selection of vegetables, but the Soy Chicken was topped with a dollop of very sweet and sticky sauce it could have done without. The fried chicken was - fried chicken. The space is nice and clean, as were the restrooms. But that $23 soup will keep us from returning - it really does feel like "Oh, we can charge that much because people expect to be charged a lot now?"

Going inside, the restaurant felt vibrantly red and welcoming. Fortunately, there were a good amount of open tables and we were seated quickly. Tonight we ordered 1x chicken with garlic sauce, 1x chow fun, 1x spare ribs, 1x hot & sour soup, 1x egg drop soup, 1x wonton soup, and 2x eggrolls. Going in with my review,*disclosure: not the largest fan of Chinese food* but the food was great! The chicken with garlic sauce had a well balanced sauce, chicken was very tender, fresh assortment of vegetables, garlic wasn't overpowering! My favorite dish of the night was the chow fun! It had those bouncy chewy noodles, savory sauce, and tender strips of char siu pork! The spareribs (char siu) had a sticky delectable salty sweet bbq sauce, and were on the bone tender! Only critique for the night was that the hot & sour soup could've used more white pepper or that hot factor. Egg drop had tender swirls of silky egg and a refreshing light broth. The wonton soup had a clear flavorful broth, nicely cooked wontons; for extra flavor I add the hot mustard IYKYK! The eggrolls weren't your typical hollow shells as they were packed with minced pork meat and tasted fresh fried to order! Overall, we were very pleased with both the food and service tonight. For these reasons, we'd be happy to give Mr. Shens 5/5 stars!
