Tomo had a range of items for sushi, with salmon, yellowtail, tuna, and other items from the chef's choosing. The salmon was definitely my favorite out of the items I tried. They also had toro as the special that night, and it was super tender and fatty. The seafood udon had a savory flavor to the broth and lots of veggies and fish cake. It tasted more like a fusion udon, but the broth wasn't too bad. Both menu items also came with some salad with ginger dressing and miso soup. I appreciated how friendly the waiter was, although the service was slow. Definitely take your time if dining here. Overall, it was a great stop on the way!

The customer service was quite excellent and friendly…read more While Chops has a really cool rustic vibe, for me there was a couple of items that were really good, and others that were lacking. I ordered a 3 meat platter which came with sliced brisket, burnt ends, and ribs with the Mac and cheese and baked beans as sides. In addition, I also ordered the pulled pork and sausage to sample. I felt the brisket was a little dry and light on the smoke, even though it was a pretty good sized portion. The burnt ends were also a little more on the dry side, and were not soft and pillowy. The ribs to me were also a little overcooked. The standouts to me for what I sampled was the sausage and the pulled pork. The sausage was not only a good size, but it was savory and seasoned well. The pulled pork was juicy and had good flavor and was on the better end in comparison to the competition. For the sides, the Mac and cheese was a little ordinary, but the baked beans had a nice flavor to them and had the extra surprise of having some meat (i think brisket) in there. They had 3 BBQ sauces to sample table side: sweet, bold, and hot. I did like the sweet, but I also liked the bold that had a deep, rich flavor. The hot was my absolute favorite sauce here, although it could've been hotter for my taste. If you happen to be in the cute little town of Smithville, this isn't a bad stop to get your fill of BBQ. Even if overall they are about the middle of the pack compared to the competition.

Y'all, the Tin Kitchen is my new go-to dining spot whenever I'm in Weston! I went there for dinner…read moreduring a recent camping trip and was blown away by how delicious everything was, and how generous the portion sizing is. The staff were very friendly, and I loved the vibe- a mix of old school and new in an old (but very well maintained) brick building in downtown Weston. My one note about the Cajun chicken sandwich is that the seasoning, while very tasty, is mild in terms of spice. So if you're expecting spice, you'll probably want to add some spicy BBQ sauce or something similar. All in all this place is such a gem, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Weston during a mealtime!

The FOH staff shamelessly huddled amongst themselves in the openness gossiping and seemed inconvenienced by our wanting to order...? No one seemed to have answers for any questions aside from "I don't know " and "yep". They blatantly complained about patrons/doing their job out in the open and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming because of the poor - or better yet, lack there of - HOSPITALITY. The only positive thing is that the food was actually really good. If you still want to try the food I'd recommend getting it to-go. And to the establishment, it may be time to restaff.

They don't even have a real sign, just a humble chalk board leaning up against the building. Reservations open a couple of months in advance, and they will fill up. I managed to secure a reservation ($25 deposit/person) on my girlfriend's birthday luckily! The menu changes seasonally. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally at peak freshness. Cheese from the creameries down the street. Beef from local farmers. Apples from the server's grandpa's farm. You watch the chef preparing everything in the open kitchen. We opted for the $90/person prix fixe menu, and it's the right choice. You can try so much of the menu. Everything was delicious. I think I finally understand what the judges on Top Chef mean when they say a dish is perfectly balanced. Even the whipped cream on the sticky toffee pudding changed my life.
