Been looking for a good Chinese place in the area since I moved here about 4 years ago. The pickens are slim. I got their General Tso;s Lunch combo that came w/ "fried rice" and a single egg roll for an additional cost. Total was around $13 or 14. Pros: Food was hot and seemed to be fresh. Cons: General Tso's was bland but sweet. Portion size was a little small given the price. The "fried rice" wasn't fried rice, it was rice with some bits of pork that were thrown in a wok. It tasted OK, but wasn't fried rice. The egg roll was not good; tasteless, meatless, greasy, and overpriced. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but in a pinch it might suffice. read more

I like their food. I wish the bbq spare ribs were on the luncheon menu. Space is inside a shopping center and could use some updating. I would like to see them use gloves when touching the food. I was in the area and figured I'd give this place a try. First of all, they are currently only offering takeout just fyi. I ordered Lemon Tofu (technically not on the menu, but a lot of Chinese restaurants will sub tofu for meat for you). My order came out to $10.66 which is a decent price for lunch. I will say it took longer then I expected for my food to be made. Everything was packaged up nicely. They gave A TON of rice and the tofu portion was a decent size. It packed an entire take out container and there was veggies at the bottom (it had onions, carrots, peppers, and broccoli). The lemon sauce was in a separate container which is how it is displayed for the lemon chicken in the photo. However, that meant I had to wait until I got home to eat instead of eating it in the car. I took the food home and heated up the sauce in a pan and tossed the tofu in to coat it. I was hoping the tofu would soak up more flavor that way but it was still pretty bland. The sauce itself was good, but the tofu wasn't flavored at all and the sauce itself wasn't enough to compensate for it. I personally don't care for how they do their tofu (they sliced it in strips and then just deep fried it), but I think I'll give them another try with a different dish. read more

The folks that run this restaurant work hard -- really hard. I've never had an issue with food quality (keep in mind, this is a quick-serve Chinese restaurant) and prices are very fair. Huge menu and lunch specials are two additional big pluses for me. Only critique would be that they have not invested in an app or online ordering platform. I'll eat from China One, but I've had a lot of issues with both the food and the location. The food flavor shifts a lot, and I've had the food over cooked multiple times (specifically the dumplings). Most of the meats have a sort of bitter taste. The location is strange looking. It's very dirty, there's boxes stacked up in the back blocking the bathrooms, there's chopsticks hanging from the ceiling, and plastic silverware. First time here. I ordered General Tso's Chicken. After I paid, the guy who took my order SNEEZED INTO HIS HAND- TWICE!!! HE THEN WALKED STRAIGHT INTO THE KITCHEN AREA AND BEGAN COOKING MY FOOD WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 99% of the time I would have said something to the guy but I guess I just didn't feel confrontational today. If this was customer service based it would be 5 stars. They are the epitome of service. However their food is so bland I can't give them a five star review. Chinese food is supposed to be flavorful however most places I go are so Americanized that it shouldn't be considered Chinese anymore and it should be called American Chinese food. read more

There was one man cooking, taking orders and money. My 15-20 min turned into 30. I ordered steamed dumplings. They fried them. And, there was absolutely NO flavor to them. Nothing mixed in with the pork...no ginger, no seasoning, nothing. The worst I've ever had. I will not go back. read more

I ordered for dine-in. The food came to the table in take-out boxes and they gave us styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Even though I tipped at the counter, before we were served, they never came back to the table to check on us. The staff sat at a table across from us and ate. After one staff person finished eating, she started bagging some kind of crispy food into bags. She was dishing the crispy food out of a very greasy cardboard box, which was sitting open on the table the whole time we were there... in the dining room. She didn't wash her hands between eating and handling the food she was bagging. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. The food was okay. I didn't get sick. read more

I bought the family deal just a few days ago , the sesame chicken was old and dry out and is now growing mold in my fridge after two days . I will never waste my money on this place again. Be careful eating here because you might get food poisoning from this place . The pepper steak had very little meat and the meat was very tough . and the chicken with cashews was disgusting because they meat had a lot of fat on it. the egg rolls were good until i noticed that they had fat in them and im not sure that the so called meat was even pork ....i am sick from the thought of what i may have eaten from this place . I see a lot of people going there but I am not a fan. The food seems "dry" to me. The egg rolls are dry and the ribs are awful. If you like rice, well, can't screw that up... The food is excellent here! Best fried crab rangoons anywhere! We always get Crab Rangoons, Sesame Chicken, Singapore Rice Noodles, and Beef Lo Mein. All of it is fabulous and the people working there are very nice! Very fast service too! We usually walk in and order and only have to wait maybe 10 minutes for all the food we order. Awful food and awful service. I called and ordered the guy said 20 mins and when it was time my husband went to pick up our food. When he got there and told them our number for the order they argued with him saying I never placed an order he got frustrated and didn't want to wait there so he came home. I called back there and explained what happened they said my order has been waiting and asked if my husband was still there i told them he left and the guy responded with "yeah that's what they told me" as the guy was asking me if I still want my food the owner took the phone and asked if I could be there in 5 mins. So I head back down there to pick up my food instead of sending my husband this time get our food and our food was so cold, the chicken was rubbery the crab ragoons were awful and the rice had a terrible taste to it. Well I wasted $30 on dinner tonight. We got general tsos chicken, wonton soup, and egg drop soup. The lady on the phone said it would be ready in 15 minutes and when I got there an hour later the guy kept telling me it too me too long to get there... They weren't closing anytime soon so that was pretty rude. I was surprised when he said it was $30 at the counter but I didn't say anything about it. Turns out they gave us two giant things of soup without specifying on the phone. I went to eat the chicken and there were a ton of onions in it. I hate onions and have never seen anyone put onions in general tsos before. I couldn't even eat it. Definitely disappointed in this place and will never go back. read more

I have ordered from this place in the past and the food was pretty good but today I ordered sesame chicken and it was disgusting so I called the people that worked there and told them. The lady worker told me to bring it back and I said I would bring it back when I was out again and she said okay. About 5 hours later when I was out again my husband and I returned the food. At first my husband went in but he soon came out so I went in. The couple that worked there were furious and said not one has ever complained or returned there food. They went on and on about how I should have returned the food earlier and I asked them why they didn't say that earlier when I said it would have been a while. They lady asked why I returned the crab Rangoon and I told her because I couldn't eat anything after I ate the sesame chicken. SHE LITERALLY SAID WE COULD HAVE RESOLD IT!!!! DISGUSTING!!!! It is a great American-Chinese restaurant. It has great food for such low prices! The owner was very nice and she gave us more food than what we paid for! There was a lot of food in one meal!
