Best eggrolls in the area. Not huge variety for buffet but usually pretty good. Buy the individual meals for the best taste.

Decent food and good service. $10 for the buffet is one of the better deals you can find in Dowagiac.

Small restaurant with good food! I stopped by around 1pm and most tables were full!!…read more Chicken Curry Noodle soup tasted good, could have used a little more spice! Potatoes and carrots were slightly under cooked and too crunchy for my liking. Shanghai noodles were yummy. Pan fried dumplings were large and tasted great. The dipping sauce needed a little vinegar but the ginger and scallion made up for it. Definitely would stop by again if my travels brought me back to town.

Our new go-to Chinese spot!!…read more This spot is off the beaten path but worth the extra to stop in and try!! Our pupper's groomer is in this plaza complex and so we recently took notice and are so glad we did! On our first visit I didn't think to get pictures but it was a fun visit with a great introduction to the amazingly unique foods they offer at Z&W! This restaurant offers many of the what they call "old fashioned meals" on their menu - orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour, etc... but they also offer an "Authentic Sichuan menu"! During the first visit we had no idea what to get so we asked our waiter for suggestions and guidance! We wanted to try something off of the authentic menu but had no idea what to choose! He was terrific in helping us understand what was popular and what things we might like! There is also a book on each table with pictures of the each of the menu items! AMAZING IDEA!!! We ended up ordering the Dry Chili Beef and the Kingpao Sichuan chicken. Both were delicious but VERY spicy! For me personally, next time I go with a spicy dish (it was indicated as spicy on the menu, the waiter did explain) I need to ask them to tone down the spice level for my palate! Each of the authentic menu items comes with white rice, fried rice is available for an additional cost. These items do not include a side. The star of the visit was the appetizer of crab meat rangoons! WHOA!!! They are huge and fresh and SO stinking tasty! Ours came out so hot that the fresh, crispy shell burned my lip a little bit - but in a good way! I can't remember the last time I had Chinese food that was SO fresh!! Definitely consider ordering the rangoons!! Our second visit we decided to try the old fashioned menu - we ordered the orange chicken and the General Tao's chicken. These dishes come with rice AND a side! If you choose rangoons for the side you get TWO!!! Totally my choice as I already knew from my first visit that they were next level!! My husband ordered the egg roll which was actually crazy delicious!! It's a difficult decision! You can also choose soup in place of either of those options! We added a side of hot and sour soup to share which tasted very authentic and delicious! This spot is so cute and the staff is SO very friendly with warm, welcoming service! This is definitely a great place to grab lunch or dinner and we can't wait to get back to try out more of their highly delectable menu items!

This is a family owned business... We ordered two dishes, all rather flavorful. The orange chicken…read moreonly had six pieces of chicken in it that were pretty small it was mostly vegetables, which is disappointing. The combo fried rice tasted really good and had a fair amount of meat and shrimp in it. The orange tofu size is very good and they give you the option to either have it fried or grilled, which is an option most other restaurants don't give you. The downsides were that it did take quite a while as they do heat up the grill per customer as to not waste resources, and I did find a very long hair in my food. This is a carryout only restaurant you cannot dine in and they do not take any type of card so be advised! Their pricing is very fair though.

The positive is they use fresh ingredients ( no MSG). However, they negative is that the potion of meat in both are dishes ( Mongolian Beef & Orange Chicken) were barely existent. We each had 3 pieces of meat in out dishes. They load the dish sh with veggies to fool ya. They do not take credit cards & no dine in service. Unfortunately, we will not be going again . If anyone has a good suggestion for Chinese Food in SW Michigan hit me up on Yelp so I can take my husband.
