Wow, to say we were impressed with Asian Grill Buffet would be putting it lightly. I took my husband here as it's been many years since we've been to a buffet. I wasn't expecting much, and was wondering how much I could even eat with dietary restrictions- and was blown away at the variety! There are not one, not two- but SIX double sided buffets including sushi, seafood, and even Mongolian barbecue! This place does great business as maybe 70 diners were there at lunchtime which means food is constantly fresh. While busy, it was not crowded. The soft serve ice cream was a lovely touch. Servers came around regularly to refill drinks and clear plates. They were extremely kind. We can't wait to return! read more

I don't come here super often because after 2020 the idea of going back to a buffet freaked me out a bit. Quality of food is about what you would expect, not the best but middle of the road and not expensive. Some items you can tell were left a little too long, like the garlic bread because it was hard. The last 2 times we were ate here, they appeared to no longer be doing the sushi which was disappointing. As far as buffets go, it's a decent option. Doesn't compare to a place like Golden Corral, but seeing as the Asian Grill Buffet is the main buffet it town there are people locally that will come all the time because it is a decent spot. read more

Been here on a regular basis while in the Benton Harbor area. It's the only place that I know of that has a Chinese buffet. Limited on vegetarian items, but hey, it's all you can eat. As a vegan, all I can load up on is the salad, rice, noodles, string beans, potatoes, veggie Mongolian stir fry, some veggie rolls, fruit, etc. I was really bummed that they no longer had the mixed vegetables with tofu. I asked the guy refilling the trays why they didn't have it and he just said, "No Tofu!". What a bummer...one star demoted for that. They really need to have more tofu dishes especially since they are near Andrews University where there are a huge vegetarian community that they can attract more customers. I will skip the ranking. I think it's more of what one is looking for. This buffet offers a decent buffet selection at a decent price.

We've been a few times and I do like that they have a sushi area and if you want to make your own dishes they will cook for you at the grill, but I'd love to see more vegetarian options and more extra sauces (like the ones that are in the meat dishes) to use for us who don't eat meat. They have a variety of seafood, chicken and meat selections and American food as well. Its usually the place we go to for a massive cheat day and load up on salt and carbs. For the price, (7-9$) its worth it. Also, the service is very nice. read more

Consider this restaurant for what it is: a cheap Asian buffet restaurant in an area which does not have a significant Asian population. Fast in that you don't have to wait for the staff to come take your order, deliver it to the kitchen, and bring it back. A choice of foods in the amount you want them. Come here if you want something that has a passing resemblance to Asian food, as translated through the eye of rural Michigan. Haute cuisine? Nope. Accurate? Not particularly. If you want either, go to Chicago. Don't look for that in southwest Michigan. But my husband and I have been here several times over the past ten years or thereabouts, and will come back because we prefer what this place has to offer over any of the other chains in the immediate area. For the money, it's a very good value. Yes, it's a Chinese-ish buffet and I won't say that anything is excellent but, there is a lot of variety, the staff is attentive and the food (at least at lunch) is kept full/fresh. There is a mongolian grill with the basic ingredients to mix your own dish if you don't like anything on the buffet, a modest mix of (no fish) sushi, typical chicken and beef chinese dishes, some spicy, some not. There's usually some pizza, chicken wings, baked fish, and a very basic salad bar. For dessert, there's assortment of cakes and cookies and there's always the vanilla/chocolate/mix soft serve machine. Dinnertime raises the price and adds some seafood options. There are a few dishes with no meat but not a big variety if you're vegetarian. Overall, nothing outstanding but good basic food at a very reasonable price. read more
