This place was amazing. Me and my girlfriend came here after reading the reviews we were a little skeptical but let me tell you they proved us wrong. The waitress was extremely nice and answered all of the questions we asked and even recommended some sushi options and also explained the whole all you can eat sushi witch is such an amazing deal so much different variety you can pick from. I spent 54 bucks witch was so cheap from how much we ate .me and my girlfriend definitely enjoyed this place and we sure will come back I RECOMMEND the food was bomb.

Located in a strip mall in Mishawaka is this little unassuming AYCE sushi place. Lunch is like $15 and dinner $25 but choosing correctly, you can certainly eat your moneys worth of quality sushi. We started with miso soup, salad, gyoza (pork dumpling...amazing) and a summer roll (tempura shrimp, crab stick, veggies, soy paper, eel sauce...equally amazing)! We then set in with a small platter of sashimi and sushi (salmon, eel, white tuna, red snapper) and a handfull of delicious rolls, including a Lady gaga roll (white tuna mostly). We were impressed by the waitress who was working thr whole place alone and doing a great job understanding that she had 12+tables. We will most definitely be back very soon!

I was travelling from Chicago back to Toronto and this was our stopover place from dinner. The interior felt like a cheap, nightclub with poorly taped menus all over the wall. We were allowed to be seated anywhere that was available. Angela, our server, seemed to be the only person working the floor so service was not efficient but she was absolutely lovely. The menu was priced at $23.99 for orders that's not with sushi/sashimi whereas it was $26.99 for those inclusions. The prices were a bit steeped but considering we were not in a predominantly Asian area compared to Toronto, we decided to go ahead with the sushi/sashimi inclusion. For the sashimi/sushi, you were not allowed to order more than 30 pieces per person. We found that particular rule to be off but we didn't think we'd be able to order that much anyways. Until we got our orders. The salmon sashimi was pathetically half the usual size, making one slice technically two by the restaurant's standard. Mackerel sashimi was nothing more than a STRING of meat. As for the unagi nigiri, it was disproportion as it was too much rice, too little eel. The side dishes like calamari was overly battered and soaked in oil. Overall, the sashimi and nigiri were below average. It did the job of getting the tummies filled but I definitely wouldn't be recommending this place.

Amazing service. Roll choice is amazing. Love all the appetizer options as well. They are really quick at lunch. If you want to upgrade to the dinner option at lunch time, you can!

I revisisted Sushi Garden w my daughter for lunch. Its a pretty good deal..14 for ayce sushi. The menu is reduced but theres plenty to choose from. My daughter had the calamari as a starter I had the musbroom broth and then we both had eel rolls and spicy tuna. Everyrhing was good...I had a large sake warm. I jad a second round witj a crunch sweet potato roll and she had their TNT roll. Lunch rolls are smaller than dinner. Our server was very nice and did a great job. I have had better sushi elsewhere...but Sushi garden is good and the value is tough to deny.

Was recommended to try this place out. We drove a hour and a half. We were not disappointed! The food that we got was very good. We tried different Sushi Rolls, and Sashimi. Not disappointed at all. Will make the drive again sometime in the future. As has been mentioned that there is only one waitress, but she did a great job keeping up. There were 5 or 6 other couples/groups at the time. You can order appetizers multiple times if you want. Along with continuing ordering Sushi as many times as you want.

The meal highlighted was listed for $12 and we were charged $20 because "oh, the menu is outdated."

If I could give our visit 0 stars I would. First off, I contacted them 10 days prior to our visit to make a reservation for a party of 13. They took my name, number and asked us to all arrive 15min early. We arrived and they "forgot" our reservation.. Second, the staffing is terrible. I give props to the waitress as she was the only one in the whole restaurant, full of customers, to wait on anyone. Third, they brought us our bill and we noticed that our hibatchi meals were priced far more than the price listed on the menu that was handed to us. What should have been a $12 hibatchi meal (as listed on menu) was suddenly a $20 meal. This is a large amount difference for a family of 5. When this was brought to the owners attention, he chalked it up to "those menu prices are outdated." What?!? Why would you provide a menu to a customer with incorrect pricing and then charge them more than the listed price. Sounds like a scam to me! He bluntly repeated his self and refused to honor the pricing listed on the menu. My family & I were frequents of this restaurant, but after the poor customer service we received tonight, we will not be back! So just a warning, if you chose to eat at this restaurant, plan ahead for your bill to be significantly more than it should.

Phoenix roll, snow white roll, and spider roll. 4 Tuna and white tuna sashimi pieces.

I came because my friend said the price you pay is worth it for ayce on the entire menu and this did not disappoint! We came December 10 for Sunday. It is all day dinner ayce. For those complaining about price I am confused because if you look at the menu and add up what you might get, more than likely it is cheaper to get the ayce option. I think it is norm now a days that decent rolls are around $10 even at Martin's ! I usually can eat 2-3 rolls myself not including appetizers so to me this is a steal! Though I am not a fan if sashimi, I felt their tuna and white tuna was great. I hate any sort of "fish or ocean taste" but it was quite fresh to me because it did not make me want to regret eating there lol . The shrimp tempura was almost perfect. I would say a 4/5. It was crispy but slightly oily. However def. better than most places that do tempura. My hubby enjoyed the fact that they did not Pack rice up on the rolls to try and fill you up. Some places put so much rice on purpose so you get full fast. This was not the case. We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty every roll was. I especially liked the snow white roll. Delicate but subtle flavor that popped out from the spicy mayo. The only suggestion I have is if they could put a dessert on the ayce like ice cream or fruit. That would make the menu perfect! Will be coming back soon!

I'm in awe at how amazing the food is. The second the food hit my tounge I shrieked in excitement from the way my flavor buds were tingled.

The service is exceptional and the food is delicious. We loved the potato skins which were unique in that they were more like tempura than traditional potato skins. The Brussels had a ton of flavor as did the steaks and salads. The highlight was probably the Sword of John Adams. It's basically a giant kabob with grilled meats (steak, lamb & chicken) and vegetables. It reminded me of something I imagine you'd see at Medieval Times but much more tastefully done. The Pumpkin Spice Gelato and Crème Brûlée were a nice way to finish our dinner. A bit unexpected that they also offer sushi. We did not try it this time but based on our first experience, would feel confident to try it next time since everything was SO good.

Now for the food... we were so excited for the steak fondue... three small cast iron pots, less than a 1/4 cup of fondue the same amt of meat and mushrooms and a mound of toasted bread cubes... this was tasty, but for $18 those crocks should have been filled three quarters full! For dinner I ordered 1/2 of the arugula salad with chicken. I could not eat the salad as it was drenched in dressing, almost like it it been dressed earlier and lest to wilt.. chicken was over seasoned and quite dry. The burger... COVERED in two sauces... they don't described it as a smothered burger... such a shame bc the flavors were there. If choosing, pick the others, prices are much better and hands down, so is the food..

I failed to write a review of my dinner here last year but I enjoyed my sushi, I remember that! This year, my dinner was only so-so. Both years, however, the service wasn't great. So half of this large space is brightly lit while the other half is way too dark. Last year, our pictures were all bad since we sat in the dark half. This year, we sat in the well lit space and now I have okay pictures sort of haha. It was decorated for Christmas with lights and small decorations. This year, I ordered the tuna poke bowl ($24) which comes with a ginger salad and miso soup, as well as a rose tea ($5). The rose tea was very diluted. I was disappointed. Our absent waitress failed to stop by anytime within the first 20 minutes, so I had to flag down another server to replace the tea with something better, the lychee black tea which I did enjoy, although it contained caffeine, which I was trying to avoid. My boyfriend got two sushi rolls and was still hungry after he finished his rolls. Fortunately, another person didn't have an appetite that night and shared his food. It is still odd that $20 of sushi wasn't filling. In my opinion, the food is good but overpriced. They have a very good drink list with expensive wines to cheap teas. As many others have mentioned, the service was basic and not so attentive nor frequent, especially when I was desperate for new tea. Here's hoping for a better experience at our next holiday meal here!

I was the only one in our party who had not been to this place before and, in the end, the only person who wasn't crazy about the food here. I chose chicken hibachi which came with miso soup, ginger salad, and grilled shrimp with a egg yolk sauce. The others in my party were obsessed with the egg yolk sauce way more than I was. There was just way too much food and honestly, it was all a bit bland. You get lots of food here, that's for sure, especially of rice. I would have liked more vegetables to diversify the meal. As for the starters, the miso was actually one of the best I have had but the ginger dressing was a weird color and the shrimp dish was not my fave. I ate the leftovers of my hibachi for lunch the next day and it heat up well but I noticed that not all the rice was cooked in the end. I ate it all anyway, of course. Apparently, this is the best hibachi place in the area so maybe I am just picky. Try it out - maybe you're fine with lots of food that isn't too flavorful that has way too much butter and oil.
