Located in a strip mall in Mishawaka is this little unassuming AYCE sushi place. Lunch is like $15 and dinner $25 but choosing correctly, you can certainly eat your moneys worth of quality sushi. We started with miso soup, salad, gyoza (pork dumpling...amazing) and a summer roll (tempura shrimp, crab stick, veggies, soy paper, eel sauce...equally amazing)! We then set in with a small platter of sashimi and sushi (salmon, eel, white tuna, red snapper) and a handfull of delicious rolls, including a Lady gaga roll (white tuna mostly). We were impressed by the waitress who was working thr whole place alone and doing a great job understanding that she had 12+tables. We will most definitely be back very soon! read more

Service was great, food, not so much. I got the all you can eat sushi buffet in a pinch, because I just wanted a quick lunch and it had easy options: soup, salad, and rolls. I love the fact that they limit the order to 3 rolls for the first order, then you can always order more if you finished your meal. It reduces waste. The rolls I ordered were mostly rice, a good amount of avocado, and very little meat. My meal ended up being $23 for a hot tea, a soup, and two rolls with very little fish. To me, it was not worth it. I'm not a big eater, I didn't want more rolls (more rice) I would have preferred higher quality rolls. Quality over quantity. But I guess when you're paying for an all-you-can-eat meal, what I got was expected. The ambiance was chill, just another couple of customers, one sushi chef and one waitress. It's quite a big place. read more

Not bad for the price, not that many options tbh but I wanted sushi and I'm not from the area and it definitely satisfied my craving. Wasn't the best but wasn't the worst either definitely better than buffet sushi. read more

Sushi was pretty good, grab Rangoon filling was good but the wrap was oddly textured, soup was very bland. They also added a 19% service charger which we were unaware of. There were no signs stating there were any service charges so that was pretty upsetting. read more

I am updating my review. I still think they are great and all I said about staff is true still. My issue is they should really consider getting 2-3 servers as they almost always have only one at a time. The other day we were there and we were there an go r and still had not received our first order. read more

This place was amazing. Me and my girlfriend came here after reading the reviews we were a little skeptical but let me tell you they proved us wrong. The waitress was extremely nice and answered all of the questions we asked and even recommended some sushi options and also explained the whole all you can eat sushi witch is such an amazing deal so much different variety you can pick from. I spent 54 bucks witch was so cheap from how much we ate .me and my girlfriend definitely enjoyed this place and we sure will come back I RECOMMEND the food was bomb. read more

The food was seriously amazing--no complaints there. But the place was freezing, like eating in a walk-in freezer, and our server didn't check on us much. I'd go back for the food, but I'm bringing a jacket next time and hoping for better service. read more

Reasonably priced, but the sashimi was cubed instead of sliced which we were not a fan of. Our server was absolutely wonderful and friendly. It isn't my favorite place to go but I'd try it again. My son loved being able to watch tv and the server let him pick a show so sweet. read more

Best chicken fried rice I've ever had, price was fair service was on par, everything was clean floors included. I watched the sushi chef in action and will be going back for a roll. Thanks read more

I was travelling from Chicago back to Toronto and this was our stopover place from dinner. The interior felt like a cheap, nightclub with poorly taped menus all over the wall. We were allowed to be seated anywhere that was available. Angela, our server, seemed to be the only person working the floor so service was not efficient but she was absolutely lovely. The menu was priced at $23.99 for orders that's not with sushi/sashimi whereas it was $26.99 for those inclusions. The prices were a bit steeped but considering we were not in a predominantly Asian area compared to Toronto, we decided to go ahead with the sushi/sashimi inclusion. For the sashimi/sushi, you were not allowed to order more than 30 pieces per person. We found that particular rule to be off but we didn't think we'd be able to order that much anyways. Until we got our orders. The salmon sashimi was pathetically half the usual size, making one slice technically two by the restaurant's standard. Mackerel sashimi was nothing more than a STRING of meat. As for the unagi nigiri, it was disproportion as it was too much rice, too little eel. The side dishes like calamari was overly battered and soaked in oil. Overall, the sashimi and nigiri were below average. It did the job of getting the tummies filled but I definitely wouldn't be recommending this place. read more

There is only one person as a waitress! You can sit down but the food, water, and service will not come to you for about 30 to 45 minutes. The food is pretty good, not the best. Definitely pretty good for South Bend area though! I hate that there is no Asian music playing. Instead you feel like you are at a rave/disco while trying to enjoy an Asian experience! The water was the worst thing there. Taste like it was from flint Michigan. The well charge you for blinking too hard. We usually add jalapeño and every roll, the chef told our waiter that it would be one dollar per roller to add jalapeño. Which is less than half an inch of a jalapeño. The tempura does not come out well done, expect doughy shrimp, chicken, or vegetable tempura appetizers! DO NOT get a kebab! If you do you will be a sad person. For south bend this is good. To save you some trouble I recommend the Phoenix Rolla, shrimp tempura roll, and the dynamite roll without the spicy mayo. If you travel like myself this is not worth the money. Yet, I will say it is still unlimited sushi soooo.... Take that as you want! YouTube: Whats Up Rosko Instagram: Team Whats Up read more

If I could rate this a zero, I would. (And I'm a generous guest.) I chose the all-you-can-eat option. It was probably the worst resistant food I've ever had. And definitely the worst sushi. They were out of the first three things I ordered. The crab Rangoon had almost no discernible filling. The piece of yellowtail sashimi was no bigger than a dime. The spicy tuna roll tasted like flavorless spam rolled in rice with no sauce. They were out of ginger salad and two beverages. The shrimp in the dragon roll was overcooked and like a rock. The poor server was nice, but this was an enormous waste of money. read more

I revisisted Sushi Garden w my daughter for lunch. Its a pretty good deal..14 for ayce sushi. The menu is reduced but theres plenty to choose from. My daughter had the calamari as a starter I had the musbroom broth and then we both had eel rolls and spicy tuna. Everyrhing was good...I had a large sake warm. I jad a second round witj a crunch sweet potato roll and she had their TNT roll. Lunch rolls are smaller than dinner. Our server was very nice and did a great job. I have had better sushi elsewhere...but Sushi garden is good and the value is tough to deny. read more

If I could give our visit 0 stars I would. First off, I contacted them 10 days prior to our visit to make a reservation for a party of 13. They took my name, number and asked us to all arrive 15min early. We arrived and they "forgot" our reservation.. Second, the staffing is terrible. I give props to the waitress as she was the only one in the whole restaurant, full of customers, to wait on anyone. Third, they brought us our bill and we noticed that our hibatchi meals were priced far more than the price listed on the menu that was handed to us. What should have been a $12 hibatchi meal (as listed on menu) was suddenly a $20 meal. This is a large amount difference for a family of 5. When this was brought to the owners attention, he chalked it up to "those menu prices are outdated." What?!? Why would you provide a menu to a customer with incorrect pricing and then charge them more than the listed price. Sounds like a scam to me! He bluntly repeated his self and refused to honor the pricing listed on the menu. My family & I were frequents of this restaurant, but after the poor customer service we received tonight, we will not be back! So just a warning, if you chose to eat at this restaurant, plan ahead for your bill to be significantly more than it should. read more

Some of the best sushi in the area. They offer all you can eat for a decent price. Lots of your basic rolls and specialty rolls

I came because my friend said the price you pay is worth it for ayce on the entire menu and this did not disappoint! We came December 10 for Sunday. It is all day dinner ayce. For those complaining about price I am confused because if you look at the menu and add up what you might get, more than likely it is cheaper to get the ayce option. I think it is norm now a days that decent rolls are around $10 even at Martin's ! I usually can eat 2-3 rolls myself not including appetizers so to me this is a steal! Though I am not a fan if sashimi, I felt their tuna and white tuna was great. I hate any sort of "fish or ocean taste" but it was quite fresh to me because it did not make me want to regret eating there lol . The shrimp tempura was almost perfect. I would say a 4/5. It was crispy but slightly oily. However def. better than most places that do tempura. My hubby enjoyed the fact that they did not Pack rice up on the rolls to try and fill you up. Some places put so much rice on purpose so you get full fast. This was not the case. We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty every roll was. I especially liked the snow white roll. Delicate but subtle flavor that popped out from the spicy mayo. The only suggestion I have is if they could put a dessert on the ayce like ice cream or fruit. That would make the menu perfect! Will be coming back soon! read more

Was recommended to try this place out. We drove a hour and a half. We were not disappointed! The food that we got was very good. We tried different Sushi Rolls, and Sashimi. Not disappointed at all. Will make the drive again sometime in the future. As has been mentioned that there is only one waitress, but she did a great job keeping up. There were 5 or 6 other couples/groups at the time. You can order appetizers multiple times if you want. Along with continuing ordering Sushi as many times as you want. read more

Sushi Garden is a great place to go for dinner. Their options include an "All You Can Eat" sushi bar for an affordable price. A couple things to keep in mind: you're not allowed to share with anyone in your party for the "All You Can Eat" option and they will charge for not finishing everything on your plate: to reduce waist. So order what you can eat! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. read more

We've gone to this place twice so far and both times pretty much same experience. Food was good but not the best, service was meh (other than the blonde girl That works there doing everything and very nice) most people who work there just ignore you. I think are waiter smoked too much on his break maybe. But for the price, can't really complain. Also, the all you can eat part... is not for sashimi and sushi. Just rolls, appetizers, soups and salad. 30 piece minimum on sushi. Still leave full though when you throw in some roo read more

Came in for lunch and ordered from the AYCE menu. I had the ginger salad, gyoza, chicken fried rice and three sushi rolls (tempura shrimp, California with spicy mayo and the rock shrimp). First time coming here I was expecting it to be a little packed thankfully it wasn't but that didn't keep the employees from running the restaurant on the edge. The food was good and came out pretty quick but the pricing is very questionable. Now before you skip over this understand that if you share your food you will be charged extra?? Seemed like they were pretty serious since they decided to watch our group from a far to make sure we followed these rules. Along with that a service fee is added on and expecting another tip. I'm big on tipping but sneaking in a tip to the check already and trying to ask for more isn't always favorable. read more

Wow. Just wow. The only nice thing I can say about this place was the server. She was sweet. The rest was awful. I don't know where all of these rave reviews came from. I ordered crab Rangoon and aside from there o Ku being 4 puffs, there was basically no filling! It definitely was lint crab. It looked like a thin layer of glaze. So bizarre. Next was my sushi roll. I went with the dragon roll. Apparently at this restaurant that means celery wrapped in rice with avocado on top. NO shrimp. Not one little piece. And somehow, the celery-rice roll tasted terrible. Like dirt. I still can't get over how bad this experience was. I don't like to give such scathing reviews, but this needs to be heard. Take your money elsewhere. Woof. read more

More quantity over quality. You can eat almost as much as you want for $25 at dinner time. It's not that the food wasn't good quality, it just wasn't that flavorful. Even the wasabi didn't stand out. We were visiting from out of town for the holidays and decided to eat here for lunch on Christmas day, I was not disappointed. The all you can eat option was worth it for me since I prefer sashimi. Great quality and fresh, no fishy taste. I ate like 20 pieces of sashimi and 2 of the premium rolls, it also includes soups and appetizers. The rolls were yummy with not too much rice; which I appreciate Service was super fast and the waitress was patient with our questions. Great place, will be back next time we are in town read more

Wish I had the option to give zero stars! Not worth your time our money! The menu said the steak hibachi was $12 and the waitress and manager out of no where charges us $20 instead! They kept making lame excuses why its no longer $12 on the menu that they gave us that stated $12 and how we didn't understand the menu. I will never go back there. If giving negative stars was possible it would be at the highest it goes. I am absolutely DISGUSTED about how we were treated at sushi garden tonight. It was our first time there and we were greeted by a waiter who mentioned he was running behind and to please be patient. We said not a problem at all we get it 100% People poured in after we were sat and we waited patiently for over 15 minutes while others who walked in and sat were served menus drinks and orders were taken. We were completely ignored while others were being helped around us. We attempted to get our servers attention but got burned aside each time. Finally my fiancee got up to mention we fine waiting but its not ok to have us wait as long as we had while serving those who just walked in. Our server ANDY MILLER (tall skinny white man with facial hair) came to our table and began to be extremely rude. He told us hes busy and if were ready to move on and order we said no you took everyone else's orders who came in after us and he cut us off saying "we can either move on from this or i can help someone else" i was sickened at the disrespect from him since we walked in so I got up and asked for a manager. I was ignored and asked another 5 times for a manager til Andy informed me there was not one there. I asked for his name and was ignored again until the 3rd time I asked. He then walked over with a piece of paper with ANDY MILLER written on it, tapped it on the table and said there ya go thats my name very rude and sarcastically. This again was our first time in this restaurant and had good things. Because of this serve we will NEVER come back here nor will we have good things to say. We fully as servers ourselves understand being short handed especially on a Friday. But the rudeness, sarcasm, and straight up ignoring us is not ok and he is definitely someone that shouldn't be working for your restaurant read more

Did someone say all you can eat? This place is amazing. The sushi all you can eat buffet is reasonably priced for $25 per person which also includes appetizers and hibachi. They offer two menus, a $15 lunch menu which is on a smaller scale then the dinner menu or the $25 all you can eat dinner menu. Went there on a Sunday evening and it was not crowded at all. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the sushi is super fresh and the hibachi steak is to die for with the veggies. They also have an extensive alcohol Sake drink menu. I had the Sake margarita was was delicious with a little tang kick to it. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and needs a sushi fix! read more

Sushi's not bad, would not recommend the wasabi. Not hot just has a funny taste. My friends enjoyed it.

Tried this place twice now. First experience was nothing special but we wanted to give it a try. We came again for dinner tonight. Server didn't introduce herself and made it seem like we were a bother the entire stay. She took our order, delievered our food and brought a check. Those are the only times we saw her. Never once checked on how our food was, refilled drinks or came back for our second part of our order. And we were the ONLY table in there. The only noise in the restaurant was one of the workers kids video games playing very loudly and the loud clashing of them cleaning dishes in the kitchen. Definitely not a date environment.
