Tonight I chose the closest in proximity Chinese food joint to where we live. China Kitchen has an older looking website that was easily navigated. My wife and I selected a combo dinner for 2 (chkn chow mein, beef chop suey, s&s pork) and added an order of "Breaded Lemon Chicken" and 2 spring rolls ...it came to like $48 or something. Whatever, it would be here soon as we are only about 2km away and we were hungry on this rainy Nov 1st night. Well, here's the breakdown in point form to drive this 2 star rating home for you fine people: -arrived in a timely fashion. - chow mein was mediocre, bland, extra greasy. -chop suey was ok. -s&s pork was good. - Lemon chicken was terrible! The worst we've ever had. Firstly, there was little to no breading on the chicken. The consistency of the Lemon sauce was very runny and tasteless. Eww, gross. Honestly, I almost called the restaurant to complain but I promised myself I would put this place on blast I was so dissatisfied. "It's like they forgot about the order of lemon chicken till it was going out the door" exclaimed my wife, while dumping it in the trash. The sauce was so whack, it reminded me of a finger bowl they give you at a bbq restaurant or something...fucking sick. I am attaching a picture of the tasteless, horrible, disgrace of a Lemon chicken side for $13.25. We moved out here from Vancouver a few months back so I don't expect any ethnic food to compare to our spots in the city but it was really really disappointing. Again, I find myself wondering and thinking about the delicious Steak dinner I could have made my family with the over $50 wasted tonight. 2nd time with a bad experience ordering Chinese food in our new city, next time I will opt for pizza or something. A reminder that you can't beat home cooking.

A great place to sedate the most voracious and diverseof appetites. Tonight our party of four indulged in the all-u-can-eat dinner buffet. Salad bar, buffet and frozen dessert/icecream bar. From the salad bar we enjoyed a variety of items which included, crisp lettuce salad, 2 varieties of jello, fresh fruit, California Rolls, carrot cake. Dinner buffet included: hot & sour soup, wonton soup, spring rolls, sweet & sour pork, honey garlic pork, lemon chicken, 3 kinds of noodle dishes, vegetable rice, beef and broccoli, beef and black beans, calamari, roasted chicken, barbecued pork, onion rings and much, much more. Prepare to be overwhelmed. Personally I enjoyed everything immensely but even more so the very moist carrot cake and bbq pork.

This food was fantastic tonight!!! Thankyou China kitchen!! Had one bad experience during Xmas rush. They made up for it today. All dishes were very good. We have been ordering from this place for over 30 years. When it was a small roadside stand. Haha!

    Absolutely incredible buffet here! Yum!

I visited here with my family last Friday. I was told Mokran is a really good Chinese style Korean…read morerestaurant through a word of mouth. I've never gone this far to Langley just for blackbean noodles while my go to place would be Heeraedeung or Manli Jiangsung. We ordered Family Combo A ($43.95) that's big for 3 people it came with Jjambbong (Spicy seafood noodle), Jajangmyun(Black bean noodles) and Tangsooyuk (Sweet and sour pork). Food was pretty good. We ordered a combo with Tangsooyuk because someone said they make Tangsooyuk better than Kkangpoonggi (spicy fried chicken). Jajangmyun and Jjambbong were excellent. My sister and I found Jjambbong little bit spicy for our liking. I couldn't drink all the soup for this reason. But still their Jjambbong was pretty good in my personal opinion. I also like how Jjambbong had plentiful of seafood toppings especially squids. Tangsooyuk was so fresh and crispy. It came with so much dipping sauce in a separate bowl. We ended up taking some food home without the sauce. I just think there was too much sauce for the deep fried pork. I really enjoyed eating here with my family until this disaster happened. I slipped the bowl of spicy soup from my hands and spilled it onto my jeans. My jeans ended up smelling spicy, haha. Anyways I'd go back here with my family someday.

There is some confusion about what type of food this place serves across Yelp, Google and Trip…read moreAdvisor... Came here because almost all searches said that this is a place for Chinese food - IT IS NOT ! This place serves Korean Food ONLY.. Menu items are Korean like Fried Chicken, Soju, Spicy Seafood soup, and more.. Ordered the Spicy Seafood soup and Rice combo. The rice came in the smallest bowl possible and the Seafood Soup was mostly onions and some cabbage with VERY little quantity of shrimp, octopus and some type of fish.. Prices on the menu are steep and for a first timer, thinking that this is listed as Chinese Food everywhere, the choices one can make are limited.. This place IS a hit with the Korean Clientele because everyone else sitting there was Korean... The service was good - no doubt about that.. Highly doubt that i would come back here...
