Food from buffet line

I love buffet and I love China King. Of all the Chinese buffets in Tulsa, China King is the one not being afraid of the seasonings. Extra salt and extra MSG, you got it. As a result, the food had a BOLD TASTE. If you have high blood pressure, you might want to stay away. For everyone else, OMG! Adequate staffs including a host at the front and 2 servers. My server did an adequate job. China King may not be the most fancy Chinese buffet, but the food tasted so good thanks to the MSG overboard. P.S. Their chicken dishes (skewers, bourbon) were dry. The only good chicken dish was the pineapple chicken. The steamed Basa fish was great. Make sure to get the bottom piece. Also there is a credit card surcharge that they don't tell you about. It's small though. Adult buffet $12.99 person. No Mongolian or sushi, just plain old traditional Chinese buffet stuffs.

With all the choices available, having more vegetarian dishes would be appreciated. On the other hand, everything was delicious...hubby enjoyed your establishment immensely. The egg rolls are very flavorful. The cabbage was fresh with a hit of sweet - making them tops in Tulsa. Everything I saw was fresh The staff is pleasant and helpful One last suggestion - having to pay a surcharge to pay you is a lil much. I would much rather give my coins to the server.

Recently went to China King in Tulsa, right when you walk in there is someone there to seat you. I went with my mom and it was during lunch but still got seated within seconds. Most of the food was very flavorful and hot. My go to was the pineapple chicken, sesame chicken with the fried rice. There were so many selections to choose from to make different combinations with each plate. I went on the weekend so all the prices are dinner prices no matter what time of day you go which is a little more pricey than throughout the week. If you have cash it will be the exact amount but they charge a fee for using debit and credit cards. Overall the experience was fulfilling.

OK food, didn't have a big variety of foods to choose from. Only 1 type of sushi. Overall pretty good service and a decent place to eat at.

Look I've eaten at almost every Chinese buffet in Tulsa and this one by far takes number 1 spot for me.

It's been ages since we have been to Chengdu. I don't know why because it's probably my favorite…read moreAsian restaurant. I like it because of its authenticity. You can get all the common dishes here but you can also get some unusual dishes that are very authentic. My grandson once ordered jelly fish. You can't get that at very many local restaurants. Another thing I like is that they have a couple of large round tables with lazy Susans. Our extended family sat at one of those tables once. It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. Service here has been excellent in the past. I am glad we came back to Chengdu and were reminded of how much we like it. We will be back soon.

We had a small group and were able to get a table right away. Our table had a lazy susan in the center which is great for groups. The service was efficient and our food came out quickly. Our waitress did check on us periodically and did refill drinks. The portion size of the food was good and a little salty. I enjoyed the green beans but they had a little bit of a lemony flavor that had a weird after taste. I think the Kung Pao could have used a little more heat. The price for the food was decent.

The restaurant still caters Korean/Chinese food hybrid, predominantly Chinese food though. A few positive features worth mentioning. I really like the inside of this restaurant. It always appears very clean. The food is relatively cheap when comparing to the like of Chengdu. Hot tea is served in a hot tea pot, not in a cup. YES! YES!! YES!!! I feel like the Korean food at Chopsticks lack the "Korean" flavor. If the server did not tell me the Jampong soup is Korean, I would have thought it's Chinese. The beansprouts, cucumbers, Napa cabbage, and seafood scream out Korean but the taste says something otherwise. It really does have a generic taste. The Mapo tofu has soft tofu in some sort of shredded meat sauce. It's a little salty but goes well with white rice. The white rice was a little hard on this particular visit. I guess it's going to be another 6-12 months for me to come back to try Chopsticks again. Sigh...

Excellent Thai Restaurant in South Bixby…read more Lisu Thai has a very comprehensive menu of Thai and other Asian cuisines. They are conveniently located at 133rd and Memorial Dr in Bixby. The sit-down style restaurant restaurant has plenty of room for individual guests or larger groups, and has a pleasant and restful atmosphere. The staff are courteous and helpful and the wait times are minimal. Take-out service is also available. The food is excellent. They have a number of lunch special options, but also offer a wide variety of popular appetizers and entrés that should please everyone. I have eaten here at least three times, and have brought co-workers as well. All are impressed by the range of options, the quality, and hospitality. We are grateful for another successful restaurant in south Bixby.

The Thai iced tea was fire, but the basil fried rice was mediocre. My wife had one of the Thai noodle dishes, and I thought it lacked flavor as well. After talking to the staff, I learned that the owners are Burmese, so I'll come back to try those dishes, which looked pretty good. I would suggest tone down the music a bit as it might not be for everyone.
