This is your standard Chinese food to go restaurant. They do have tables inside but the ambiance is not good. The dining area looks more like a storage room with boxes of supplies stacked along the wall. BUT..... the food is fantastic. The veggies are always crisp and fresh. I have been wanting to try China King for a long time, and finally had the opportunity this week. I'm so glad I did! The crab Rangoon was delicious, and the shrimp egg rolls were outstanding! They are definitely the best I've ever had. In addition, the staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant was clean and there is enough room that you could dine in with family if you wanted to eat there. I am sure that I will be eating here very often from now on. Had the special fried rice which was amazing. Crab rangoon was some of the best I've ever had. They were hot and fresh and stuffed with filling. I also had a pork egg roll and a shrimp egg roll and was blown away how good the shrimp egg roll was. Pork was good but the shrimp one will keep me coming back! Ordered a C21 General Tso Chicken that comes with fried rice. Chicken was terrible, sauce was mostly grease. Fried rice was super dry with little flavor. Yuk! The crab rangoon was good but that was it. My meal was $18.50 and the only thing edible was the crab rangoon. So sad! Won't be back! Save your money and try someplace else. read more

My family and I have loved this place since we moved here in 2002, and it's still awesome. The best crab rangoon hands down. But everything I've tried from here is great. Our go-tos are general tsos and chicken lo mein, and the combination plates are great amount of food for the price. The hot and sour soup is also amazing, and I swear it cures me when I have a minor cold or respiratory infection. Theres seriously no other Chinese place in the area that measures up. The *only* dish I haven't liked here is the Mongolian beef. (It was almost sweet, where it should be spicy, and more veggies than meat.) They're always timely with our food no matter when we order, usually 15 minutes, and everything is hot and fresh. read more

The food is only OK. The actual chicken and pork in the sweet & sour is good, but the sauce is basically thick sugar water (no flavor, just sweet.) The crab rangoon is good, and the mongolian beef is average. Earlier this year, they started getting really weird about using coupons. You couldn't use the coupon from the takeout menu anymore (they had x-ed it out) and claimed that you had to bring one from a previous order (but all new orders were X-d out, so this was impossible) When I asked about this, they said you had to find it in the weekly ad (in the throw-away newspaper, I guess?) Also, a couple of times I've asked for fried rice and gotten white. Once, the lady at the register apologized, then got into a screaming match with the cook (in a foreign language, so I don't know what was said.) They also must have trouble keeping employees, because it's a new underage white girl working the register who sort-of knows what she's doing every time I go there. Take out at China King is awesome! The food is great and timely. Now the negative, only phone in your orders and do not eat in. I tried to order take out one night at the counter. While giving my order to the counter person, she continued to take phone orders while completely ignoring me. I finally called the number on my cell phone and when she answered I asked if she could take my order now? The HVAC system is not sufficient to eat in, it's hot in the summer time and cold in the winter time. read more
