I made an order with China inn and decided to cancel the order when I found a better priced restaurant around the hotel I'm staying in when I called back to cancel after a few minutes of going back and forth and "bad phone signals" I was told the total would be taken but I would still be charged $5 which I was ok with. Not more than 1 minute later I got a call from what I guess was corporate they tried to offer me a free soda and crab ragoon which I constantly denied asking just for my money back and was confirmed the order was canceled followed by the golden words "thank you DONT call again with an abrupt click following I will change the review to 2 stars following I get my refund but I have a feeling that won't happen. read more

In fairness prior to the last few visits I would have given them a 3.5. Our go to place for soup and other favorites for years, but last few times quality of food has slipped. Greasy and salty,.Tonight they sent us home with the wrong items and asked us to drive back. They compensated with some cheese thing. The first thing I notice about this place when I walk through the door is that it's clean. I like clean, clean is good. I don't think this place uses MSG's, so another good thing there. The service is always good here. They seem to smile a lot. The entrees are the usual drowned in sauce kind of thing; meh, not super impressed but it's ok I guess. I ordered online from China Inn for the first time tonight, took a chance because I just can't seem to get quality Chinese food anywhere near me anymore. I had egg rolls, Mei Fun, Beef chop suey, Shrimp Hibachi and soup. The food is so clean and fresh we were shocked! I haven't had this level of quality from a small local place in my life. The food was here in 35 minutes, and everything was exactly as ordered. Shrimp was cooked perfect, more beef in the chop suey than I'd ever seen, egg rolls were fresh and tasty yet not greasy. I have not seen Chinese food of this caliber except in a very expensive sit down place. Wow. My wife is a gourmet home chef and she was tired so I took a chance and made her night! I used to order from here usually every other weekend, but never again, and only had positive things to say about this place. I had the occasional mess up(it happens, no big deal), but it was always fixed with no issue. Today, it totally just ruined my opinion of this place... My office ordered 5 meals for lunch, and the wrong order was delivered. We had opened all of the meals and started picking at it, not realizing that it was wrong until we got to the 4th package. 5 minutes later, the delivery driver came back, and stated he needed the food back because it was the wrong order. We told him that we had already started to eat some of it, but he started going through the food(touching it with his bare hands without washing them) and trying to take it back, stating he had to bring it back so they could give it to the person who had ordered it. We then told him to just take all the food back because we did not feel comfortable knowing that a food establishment would re-serve food after being TOLD that some had already been eaten and obviously touched by other people. The delivery driver then called the restaurant back and they left the food, but we ended up throwing it out because we don't know if our order might have been accidentally delivered to someone else and re-delivered to us after someone may have opened it and breathed/tocuched it. I am beyond disgusted, especially when we told him to just take the whole order back and refund us, but the refund was refused and they left us with the food that we ended up throwing out. read more

The last few times we have ordered from here, it has been just okay. Not sure if they are under new management or what, but 8 years ago it was pretty damn good! We ordered last night and that will be the LAST time we ever order from them again. Entire meal tasted sour, rotten, and tainted. The boneless ribs had a 1 inch layer of grease under them, I gagged at the first bite. The chicken fingers tasted rotten, crab rangoons - the shell was hardly cooked, rice was burnt, french fries were cold and the eggroll just didn't taste right. I called, demanded a refund. They offered a new batch of food, I said "aw hell no!". My husband returned the food, it was hardly eaten, they wanted to give him 60% credit. Aw hell no, again! We took pictures of meal and receipt. Staff stumbled upon their words and said when management comes in tomorrow, they will proceed with the refund, took our cc #, etc. Called today to check in, they were aware, didn't apologize and said that it was being processed. Checked bank tonight and it was refunded. Thankfully, the refund wasn't any more of a hassle than the above. DONE, THE END. Will NEVER order China Inn again. Head to New Canton, Dragon Palace, House of Wu or China Dynasty, despite their distance it is well worth it! read more

Not too many delivery options in the Warwick area but this spot may be a new go-to. Ordered several dishes-- fried rice, garlic broccoli, a tofu dish-- order arrived quickly, food very hot. Overall there's nothing too remarkable about the food-- basic Americanized Chinese food-- but it tasted freshly prepared and was pretty decent. A sliver of a place located next to CVS. I've only been three times, and different nights, but their food was consistently good and fresh on each occasion. The typical Chinese fare is offered in 2 sizes, the smaller choice still being generous in portion. Ordering at the counter was not the usual stressful ordeal one often encounters in many restaurants of this type. In other words, I wasn't hopping out of my seat every 10 minutes with the anxious assumption that whatever take-out had just made its way to the counter for pick-up was mine- because the process is surprisingly quick and there wasn't the room for impatience. read more

We eat here a lot. Never disappointed and always good food and service. We order the beef teriyaki often and one of our favorites.

Can you say Steamed Dumplings....Yummy! An appetizer of 8 steamed dumplings is more than I can eat at one sitting. I am also a fan of their Wonton Soup. It is our favorite Chinese to go place although I've dined in a few times as well. read more

I really like this place. We order there for lunch 2-3 times a week. You have to try their beef LoMein.

Prompt delivery, friendly service, food was good. LOTS of food for the price, one meal is enough to serve two people.

Good food, nice people. Some of their dishes are outstanding. The appetizers are usually great, as are the beef dishes. The Noodle dishes - Chow Fun and Chow Mei Fun are also great. I am now slowly eating my way through their menu and loving it. read more

The last time my family ordered from here everything was pretty much tasteless. None of us enjoyed it. Their only saving grace is their shrimp lo-mien. This was my go-to Chinese lunch place for work until today. Loved there food, and would have accepted just a bad order today, and moved on until how they responded when I called to let them know that the General Tso's Chicken was not edible. There were little boney veins running through the supposedly boneless General Tso's that made me spit out not only the first piece but also the second piece which I tried just in case it was only one piece that was an issue. I then called to let them know, and there were unconcerned and set they would let the cook know. Nothing about the food I had already been given at all that could not be eaten... I was not about to drive back there and get something else, but they didn't even offer that anyway... Sorry to say, will not be going there again.
