The food is always fantastic. Never had a complaint with the taste or anything of the sort. I'd suggest calling ahead and giving them 10-15 minutes to have the food done.

    Fried rice

At first I was worried because there were a lot of people waiting for their food, but I was pleas surprised to receive good customer service and the food was exceptional. I ordered sesame chicken and friend rice and a drink and it was like $17.

Unsure of what I may be eating , But I doubt that it's beef. I have never chewed a piece of meat as long as it would take me to walk my dog. Inedible to say the least. I gave them another try even after the feathers on my wings, but this takes the cake. No...ruins my taste for cake.

Things you should never see at an eating establishment: Food being prepared out in the open on a table. China Inn it was nice, but it's over. You know better than that. Smh! I used to love, love China Inn. It was your typical affordable Chinese takeout place, and the husband and I would stop by there a couple a times a month. However, one day I saw one of their staff or owners (not sure) preparing dumplings on one of the eating tables reserved for customers, out in the open. I was so mortified that I had to snap a pic. To some people preparing dumplings on a table may not be a big deal, but I'm sure in food handling 101 that is a no no. You can't prepare food on a table without any type of covering that many people have eaten on, and you can't just prepare food and walk away from it unattended with no regard that a customer could do something to it. Sadly, now I have to find a new neighborhood Chinese takeout.

Rude staff. Incredibly unsanitary environment. The food wasn't terrible, but it was bland and I couldn't finish it after what I witnessed.

Only 1 person in at a time in a small 2x2 area. Area looked dirty. Didn't even order.

I like the egg rolls. Everything else has been kind of bland or greasy. I prefer to drive up to Floyd Road to Star East.

I came here after visiting the botanical garden, and I was HUNGRY…read more I ordered Grandma's Noodles ($9), the scallion bubble pancake ($5), cumin lamb ($12), and dry fried eggplant ($11). Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

I went for the lunch special and for the chicken & broccoli with steamed rice. I ordered a vegetable roll and some nigiri. My food was good, but the fish was definitely of lower quality. My friend had ordered a California roll and said it was the best he'd ever had. My other friend ordered spring rolls, which came out piping hot and super fresh! The storefront is very lackluster and has a few tables.
