I would have to say this is my last time going to your business I go there at least 2 times a month and this keeps happening. Totally unsure if I even wanted to eat here. It's right next to a Kay's jewelry. Hidden from the main streets. However, the hubs has been asking to try this place out. We started w/ our typical Gyoza & Crab Rangoon. Can never go wrong w/ those. As well as the Yellowtail Serrano. I only wish they sliced it a tad bit thinner. They were a bit on the thicker side. But then again, why would you complain about that?! The Crazy Crab Salad Roll, just the basic crab tempura roll with imitation crab on top. Hibachi was decent, service was okay but the sushi is ass. I've never thought I could taste a sushi roll that tasted unfresh. The filet steak they gave me in my hibachi was the key factor to this meal they made it perfectly how I wanted it. This is a place you go to if there is nothing else around. Appetizer: I ordered the dumplings steamed which came with what appeared like soy sauce. Only 4 dumplings come. Also ordered the crab ragoons which were mediocre and served with plain chili sauce. The Kano salad was good but a pretty small portion for 7 bucks. Food: I ordered the filet mignon with shrimp and the miso soup. We stumbled upon this place while running errands and I knew we were in for a treat when soon as you walk in they proudly have their 100 health department grade on the wall. It was super clean smelled good and it was plenty of room to sit comfortably. That's always a great sign. We were greeted as soon as we sat and promptly took our beverage order. I got the ramune soda my sis and mom got a coke and sweet teas we did get two rolls but I can't remember which , I do know one had shrimp tempura and the other had crab. I had the teriyaki salmon hibachi meal man it was soooo fresh and I loved the sauce! The chicken and shrimp noodle meals were really good as well. Very fresh not oily and had great flavor. The chicken fried rice was good as well. Our waitress was very attentive even when it began it get crowded. I have been to this restaurant several times and have enjoyed the hibachi. This time I decided to try the Panang curry and some sushi. This is for sure the worst meal I have ever had in my entire life. The Panang curry was simply chicken and rice with some make shift curry sauce. Absolutely no taste whatsoever. The sushi was the dry and flavorless. My husband stuck to the hibachi and he said the vegetables tasted rancid. The meal was $40 and it was a total waste of money. read more

Today I have to give an extra star on quality of the sushi and scallop dinner I had. I gave a three last time mainly due to service but the young lady I had today was attentive and pleasant. I had the Ahi pike tuna, the Okinawa roll, Sunomuno taki (octopus) and the Scallop dinner which includes rice and mixed vegetables. The tuna was very fresh (no strong fishy smell or flavor) but the octopus could have been chilled more because it was to soft for my taste. I like it almost crisp when I bite it not to chewy. The Okinawa roll was a bit bland and dry. Def not one of my favs since I like a fresh clean taste to my rolls but this was deep fried and I wanted to try something different. The Scallops were excellently flavored and grilled(Firm but tender inside). Overall my dining experience was pleasant but I still think the young teens stand around and gossip around customers way to much. The only other customer at 4:30pm had to walk over to the group of girls to ask for soy sauce again. Dinner crowd is coming in now and it's time for me to leave. I love the Submarine roll (fried California roll, depicted here) BUT it seems like you have to pull their arm to get extra spicy mayonnaise AND extra ginger even if you pay, 99% of the time you'll have to ask for more before you leave. They use to give you the teriyaki sauce in a little container which is the sauce they drizzle over the submarine roll but apparently not anymore. This restaurant opened this year on January 4th, 2018. The name of the restaurant is Okinawa Hibachi & Sushi Restaurant. So you'd think that its a restaurant with the flat cook tops tables where chefs do a presentation, but that is not the case, and we decided to try this place out anyway because it is so new. We were a party of four and everyone got sushi except for me. Everyone said their sushi was good and very tasty especially for the price. As for myself, I ordered the "steak & shrimp" hibachi dinner. My dish was okay. Basically with the hibachi dinner, you get a salad to start with and with the dinner you get mixed vegetables, your choice of rice (white, brown or fried) and your choice of protein. The vegetables were tasty, the fried rice was also good, the shrimp was good but my steak was kinda bland. The steak was under seasoned and I had to add soy sauce and the yummy yummy sauce to give it a taste. Our server Austin was super nice and very friendly. Overall, we left content with this restaurant and we will be back in the future. read more

It's a pretty, run-of-the-mill neighborhood Japanese hibachi/sushi spot. I ordered takeout, and it was pretty good. The shrimp fried rice had corn in it which was different, but it was good. The Oki Spring Rolls were an excellent compliment to the rice. The dipping sauces were delicious as well. I like it. I plan to return for a sit down dinner or lunch soon. read more

We loved this restaurant and their selection of sushi rolls! The staff was friendly and attentive, even on a busy Friday night! And the kitchen was fast as well, we ordered three rolls and they got to us within 10 minutes. I can't remember the name of our favorite roll (I think it was called the crunchy tuna roll) but it had tuna, caviar, and the crunchy topping, and it was incredible!
