So I should preface this by saying we usually only go here if we want Chinese Takeout. However, tonight my 8 year old daughter was ravenous after ballet class and wanted Chinese food that we could eat quickly, so we decided to order in. Our food came quickly, looked and tasted good, and the portions were good. The crab rangoons, while "pizza roll" shaped, were very tasty and my daughter scarfed hers. I wasn't crazy about the hot and sour soup- it didn't have the punch that H&S normally has. However, this place needs to decide if they are take-out only or if they really want people to eat in. I felt like we were "allowed" to eat our take-out food in the restaurant. The cans and bottles only drinks added to that feeling. Also, once the food was brought we were left alone. If you're getting take out, I recommend China Inn. If you want to sit down and eat, there are other options in Greenfield. read more

The food tasted pretty good. The dough around the dumplings was way too thick and made them chewy. My biggest issue is how I felt for two to three days after I ate food from here. My gut was such a mess and I had bathroom emergencies every few hours. I don't know what is in the food here but it was worse than when I had to prep for a colonoscopy. My body was trying to flush out anything and everything I ate from here. I have a friend who eats here fairly often and has the same issues. Why he continues to go back there over and over again I'll never know. There's definitely better Chinese food in Greenfield and the east side of Indy. Never again! read more

This is a nice little walk-up Chinese restaurant. They do carry-out and dine-in. No delivery, according to their menu. Very good prices, especially the lunch combos: $4.25 for veg dishes, $4.45 - $4.60 for meat, and $4.85 for seafood dishes. Lunch combo special comes with entree and choice of fried rice or steamed rice, but no eggroll. Beverage is self-serve fountain service, or cans or bottles. Your dine-in meal is served on a real (washable/reusable) plastic plate, not stryofoam or aluminum take-out stuff. Plastic utensils. Food was good. Ambience was probably slightly better than average for a strip-mall walk-up place, with comfortable upholstered booths, not just hard chairs. Cleanliness up front was good, but men's room could have used some fixing up. They do not have a buffet here. They are in the strip mall that is at the 4th stop light south of I-70 on State Road 9. Open 7 days/week. Sun-Thurs: 11am to 10pm. Fri-Sat: 11am - 11 pm. Sun: Noon-10pm. If you're looking for a sit-down (not buffet) Chinese restaurant, this was worth driving the 2 or 3 minutes away from I-70. I wouldn't specifically go out of my way to eat here, but if I am ever hungry while driving on I-70 past Greenfield, this is a worthy spot. read more

This is a nice restaurant, very clean... good food. There is a walk up counter, and the wait for food is about 5-10 minutes at the longest. You can sit down at tables within the facility, or takeout. The area is nice and clean, but it will be similar to fast food in setting. Food is good, basic chinese. Not going to set records, but definitely worth giving a try. This is honestly one of my favorite Chinese places in Greenfield. My mom is a teacher, and she has ordered large amounts of food from them for Chinese New Year for her classroom. Their prices aren't bad and the food is good. This evening, I ordered egg drop soup, moo goo gai pan combo plate, and crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious, but I got to the soup and found a fly in it. I called to ask for a refund on just the soup, and after I had already dumped it out, they insisted I bring it it because "that has never happened before." I told them sorry I couldn't and that was it. No one was rude, the owner just wanted to see for himself. All I'm saying is make sure you check your food from here just in case. read more

Very quick and friendly service food was pretty good too. I've ordered a total of 3X's now. My first order was garlic chicken with fried rice. It was ok but was expecting a little more kick the friend rice was tasty. My second order was shrimp low mein which was very tasty, no complaints. My 3rd time ordering I got the garlic chicken again only this time asked them to make it a little spicy. It was excellent however the rice tasted funny this time like it was old or maybe it was the pieces of pork in the rice that wasn't quite right. Overall I would order again. read more

Good food but horrible customer service!I called in repeated my order twice because they have gotten it wrong before. The lady hung up on me. I went in to get my order and they got it wrong. I told the woman and she said it wasn't her fault. I paid for the wrong order and then ordered it again. As she was swiping my card I inquired about the free crab rangoon because I was now well over $40. She said no you had two transactions. She did smile at me as she walked away. Today they had a 12 year old boy running the counter and taking calls. He was incredibly rude to everyone. I have never had a pleasant experience with any of the employees, and if the food weren't so good, we probably wouldn't frequent this place. We are from out of town and just wanted something quick and easy since it was so late (8:45 maybe 9ish) The lady who took our order was younger and very rude. She was really short with her responses and sounded like she didn't value her customers. I understand having worked in a restaurant before that maybe you are having a bad day, but that is no excuse to be mean to customers. Literally the only decent Americanized-Chinese food in Greenfield. We will order from here every few months. It's super fast and always stays hot by the time we get home. I credit that to the nifty take-out containers they use for their entrees. Typical buffet style food that you order to-go. Don't try to eat-in. I tried that once 10 years ago and realized my mouth feel was completely different when I dined in. Don't ask why, just trust me. If you're in the mood for Chinese food, it's good. This is a primarily a take-out restaurant. I went here with a friend and we opted to dine-in at one of the handful of tables that are located in the place. It wasn't too remarkable, with the usual food selections, no fountain sodas (cans/bottles only), and the cliche menu board you see in every like restaurant. The food was hot, but the crab rangoons are like pizza pockets - weirdest thing I've ever seen! I would likely not go back unless maybe taking an order home, but unlikely. We get carry out from China Inn about twice a month. I think you have to know what to order as we get tos chicken and tos tofu with extra sauce on the side. The moogoo is good too. You can get combos with rice and an egg roll for under $5. I like the spring rolls, they come two to an order. You can also eat there, they have a few places to sit with only bottled drinks. We've ordered from them for several years and have eaten in a few times always had great service. When our orders have been over forty they have included the crab ragoons without us having to ask. read more

Place is filthy. Don't sit down or your skin will stick to whatever it touches. Stale, bland food that skirts the verge of rotting. Greasy, nasty, inedible egg rolls. When I was a kid I always went here with my family and now as an adult I do the same but alone haha. But seriously the food here is great you just gotta find what's best for you. sweet and sour chicken is great and the lo mein is good as well. Orange chicken is meh, but I still get it if I'm craving it. Tso is bomb and the people there are nice. Great choice read more
