    Chicken wonton soup

Okay the people who give this place 2 stars either order the wrong item or are being overly snobby. It's Ellsworth people, chill out. We have been here many times now. Their soups are excellent, the fried rice is solid, and the salt and pepper combo is amazing. The chefs used to work in NYC Chinatown and you can taste it. We'll be back many more times!

This is an amazing restaurant, and has been a long time established restaurant in the Ellsworth community. The food is delicious and probably one of the highest quality Chinese food restaurants I've ever been in. The decor is amazingly beautiful and has a water fall feature in the lobby, as well as some amazing Asian art work all throughout. There is a nice sports bar for those that enjoy watching sports while dining, and the bartenders are friendly and always on point. There are also two function rooms, one seats about 20 - 25 comfortably (I call this the Cherry Blossom Room) referring to the beautiful artwork on the wall. The other seats about 60, and the two rooms can be opened up to make one huge venue. They even have a dance floor they can put down for special occasions. The place is well kept, and has plenty of parking as well. I would strongly recommend this place as the staff is outgoing and kind, and very accommodating. As well as good quality food and drinks. If your in the mood for Chinese food, this is the place to be! They even have some American options too! Like cheeseburgers and fries! So good, I couldn't believe it!

Quick service. Beef lomein and Pupu platter were just okay. Prices are fair. We noticed right away that we were the only ones in dining room. Probably better for takeout than sit-down dining.

I am not a huge fan of having food poising, but I love crab Rangoon's. So it's a positive negative eating here.. nice waitresses though.

The most flavorless Chinese ever. Drink was okay, maybe a few more and I might have enjoyed lunch.

There are better places to go....the food in the buffet was old and the sweet and sour chicken fingers were very very tough.

The lo mein is FULL of shrimp, egg rolls are great (don't love their dipping sauce though), and the beef teriyaki is fantastic.

It's connected to a motel which isn't something you would normally see. Had I not order online, I would have driven by and not given the restaurant a shot. The menu had all your Thai standards along with a few items would find at a Chinese restaurant. Prices seemed fair considering the amount of food you receive. We ordered the pad thai with chicken, drunken noodles with chicken, basil chicken, red curry with tofu, and pineapple fried rice to feed a group of 6 which included a few vegetarians. All the dishes met the standard for takeout Thai food but the drunken noodles and basil chicken ended up being the crowd favorites. I would recommend this spot for anyone visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia looking for quick takeout that's only 15 minutes away.

We did takeout and it was ready fast. Like, 10 min fast. It was ready for us when we pulled up to get it, and the person who handed it to me was friendly. That's about it, unfortunately. The food we received was some of the worst Thai I've had in a very long time. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. The noodles were overcooked and it was sitting in a pile of grease as if I'd ordered a soup dish. I ordered it medium spice level, and it didn't even make a flavorful impact. I was starving so I ate some of it, but for me to leave Thai food uneaten in the container means that I really didn't like it. Bummer of a dinner.

They accommodate vegans, just ask :) We ordered General Tso tofu, mixed vegetables, broccoli with fresh ginger sauce, eggplant fried tofu with hot garlic sauce, and the broccoli with bean curd, snow peas, and mushrooms. Everything was delicious, the broccoli with fresh ginger sauce was absolutely amazing -- if you like more authentic East Asian food (I like American style as well) then you will love this broccoli dish! Large portions, steamed rice was perfect, no outdoor seating, kitchen looked really clean from what I saw, definitely would recommend this spot!

Per their signage, take out only, no dine in as of 10/16/22, and no lobster. Hot and sour soup was ok, better than Sullivan's for sure (refer to my previous review). Had a kick to it, and nothing tasted rotten so we're ok lol... Crispy sesame chicken was good at the beginning, then it got soggy and way too salty. Schezuan lo menu was average, noodle wasn't too soggy. Questionable shrimp. Roast pork with vegetables and mushroom, recommended by the person who took our order, was mild. Way too much broccoli, a few slices of carrots and a few cut up mushrooms. Screw tradition, we're not going back next time we're in Bar Harbor. But at least we tried.
