Don't do it! I couldn't believe the amount of cheap filler in my Cashew Chicken! They should have called it Celery Chicken. The chicken was weird, small, chewy. My shrimp fried rice had about 8 shrimp in it. This is just garbage. The egg rolls were good. But the crab Rangoon had little or no crab or Rangoon. This is the best Chinese food around. But when I order online, I will often give special instructions such as: no sauce please, please include chopsticks... Stuff like that. They almost NEVER follow the special instructions. I am not sure why they allow special instructions if they are never going to look at them. It's kind if aggravating. read more

We ordered fried dumplings and shrimp egg rolls. The dumplings were cold which was odd because they looked almost burnt. Not enough dipping sauce. The sauce container was half the size it was before. The egg rolls were cold and oil literally dripped from them when you picked them up. We actually had to heat them up in the oven and then poured the excess oil off. We told ourselves months ago that we wouldn't go back. Our fault for not sticking to that decision. Will NOT go back. The've permanently lost these customers. This was a bad job at imitating Chinese food, I expected real dumplings and got closer to gyoza with no difference between fried and steamed besides a slight sear (not a good sear) and the fried rice was literally just rice, no egg, no green onions just yellow rice. HORRIBLE! The WORST Chinese food I've ever had! Beef broccoli was like canned jellied yuck with a horrible taste. Fried rice was bright yellow, crunchy and flavorless. This by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ordered pork Eggs rolls, wonton soup, and pork lo mein. there was no pork in the egg roll what so ever. I ordered dinner and told my friend who was visiting how great China Gate's food is and etc. Idk what happened but the crab rangoons were tiny, had no flavor and the same goes with all the food. I am writing this review because I used to be a fan of China Gate, I called tonight ordered two things off the menu to get the free delivery and was told a total for the order that was a little high, when I questioned the person she explained that they no longer had free delivery even with minimum purchase and also that their prices had gone up. When I told her that I would like to cancel part of my order due to the fact that there was no free delivery she told me that my credit card had already been charged and that the order had already been started and that they could not change my order. For a minute I was contemplating whether or not to go get it myself since there is now a delivery fee, the worker on the phone was very impatient and when I told her to deliver it anyway she then hung up on me.
