Being new to the area, we wanted to try some Chinese food, not expecting anything special. We ordered Generals Chicken (medium spicy), Chicken Sesame, steamed dumplings, and egg rolls delivered via Door Dash. The food was very delicious, the spiciness of the Generals Chicken was spot on, and the egg rolls were quite possibly the best I've ever had. The dumplings were very good too. Wife and I went back today and it was a total flip from the last time we went in. I had the Mongolian beef, dinner portion.. After digging through a mountain of sliced onions, I finally found the flavorless, tough beef. The fried rice was terrible. No flavor and completely stuck together in one scoop. My wife has the cashew chick, lunch portion. She said it was ok but not much flavor. I mentioned the portion size for a reason. There was absolutely no difference in how much food she received and how much food I received, so why did I have to pay extra? The Bo Bo platter was good, however the wontons were burnt and so hard they were borderline inedible. The egg drop soup was so gelatinous it resembled jelly more than soup. The service was almost non-existent. The waitress spent more time on her phone than tending to us, we were the only ones there, btw. Just not a very good experience. Ehhhh, that sums up my experience. Went in on a Friday night at 5 PM and it was DEAD. Found ourselves a seat, and not one person said hi or I'll be right with you, so we just all kind of giggled as it felt very odd. The waitress finally came over, and was friendly, so no knock to her. She took out orders and was on with her shift. The food, eh, 3 of us ordered from the Chinese side - chicken was, eh. Nothing great. You can tell it's purchased pre breaded and just heated, not battered and fried (sesame chicken) and was on the chewy side. The egg rolls and dumplings were great though. The other person ordered from the other food menu and had a burger. The burger looked great (and he said it was) but the fries were very bland - no seasoning. Not sure I'd be back, other places to try and nothing to write home about. Next day, my sister ordered some calzones for carry out. They were, just, alright. They don't put any sauce in them so they were dry - and they only give you a small marinara dipping sauce for them. I'd suggest they give you 2 for each half of the calzone. When I called to inquire about a correction, I was put on hold for an exceedingly long time and the person who answered was so new that he couldn't understand what I was asking and how to fix it. When I finally was able to communicate with him, I could hear his boss in the background yelling at him saying that I was wrong (so I checked my receipt and I did in fact state no onions and ordered the missing item) and the guy on the phone said it was all too confusing for him. So, I requested they refund me instead and they told me that they could only refund me in cash because they didn't know how to refund on card. The call was so frustrating that I decided to just eat the cost of the missing/inedible food because not having to deal with them ever again was worth not being given back my $20. I ordered Chicken Chop Suey. It was just huge, hardly cooked hunks of celery with about 3 ounces cold chicken. The fried rice contained hunks of completely congealed white boiled rice. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had - if you can even call it that! Placed a takeout order tonight for Orange Chicken and General's Chicken - one with fried rice - so disappointed! Both chickens (Orange and Generals) were in the same soft breading (not crispy) and barely drizzled in an unidentifiable sauce - not all the pieces were covered and they definitely weren't the typical Orange or General Tso's sauce. The chicken also did not have any of the supposed veggies that were supposed to come cooked with it. Very clean, great food, has a pickup window even. Portions are large, we can get two suppers, sometimes three out of their meals. Very fresh vegetables, they also have a pizza menu with quite an assortment. If you can get food in 15 minutes, tasty, not microwaved taste as some restaurants are and their egg rolls are superb!! read more

This restaurant moved into a brand new building right across from Walmart. I'm eating off the lunch menu and it is outstanding. Everything is made fresh, even the egg roll. The building is very nice and the service is good. Their menu items are very good, I've eaten their food quite a few times and the traditional dishes are excellent and sauces well made. Probably should have taken a hint that the place was empty, and that this "Chinese" restaurant also serves pizza. The food was warm and edible, just not the Chinese food I'm used to. My almond boneless chicken was made with chicken nuggets. The fried rice looks like white rice with soy sauce on it. Extremely basic. Next time I'll stick with the Rice Bowl. What some chow mien on a pizza? I doubt that they'll do that for you. But you can order both and do it yourself. This is what they meant by the melting pot. Mix in a DIY element and you have yourself something more American than debt. A couple of restaurants have cycled through this building which is insider information you can only get from a local like me. Thankfully everything still feels new since the last restaurant probably only lasted for like 6 months. Is part of our economy based off of failing restaurants? Is there a restaurant boom? Probably not because you know what they say: people. gotta. eat. I ended up ordering a calzone and stuffing it with orange chicken. Just kidding, but that sounds awesome in a "maybe I'll try ketamine sometime" kinda way. I got a supreme calzone with hot tea to drink. It might seem weird drinking tea with Italian food but I drink tea with most meals. I feel like it helps digestion. Help I would desperately need for this meal. The calzone came slathered in garlic and butter. It was mostly butter. Garlic tried to tag along like Juan Howard on the Miami Heat. Speaking of heat, there were some very unfortunately placed tomatoes in the back of the calzone that seemed to be at boiling temperature and waiting for me bite into them like a booby trap. I ate the whole thing though because we as humans have to do two things: eat and open restaurants. I wish I could have had the two colons in this article for this poop. The poop came quickly and fiercely. I couldn't tell if it was later that day or I was just in a haze. All of that bread turned into human toothpaste with garlic flavoring. Even if that garlic didn't get a starting spot on the tongue, it sure made a comeback in the back. Came here for a quick pit stop. Their pork fried rice was very good. I had the chicken and broccoli as well and it was good. The space itself is pretty big. Everything was very clean. Nice and friendly staff as well :) I had macarons on me and they were melting, so they helped me put them in the fridge. read more

Just got served raw chicken and when they didn't take it off the bill I asked to speak to management. Not only did the manager /owner not apologize and was in fact rude about it, she also asked if I ate the soup and the egg roll that came with the meal and charged me ala cart price for each which was ridiculous because if you don't want the egg roll or egg drop soup that comes automatically with your entree they certainly dont take it off the price of your meal. Comes with hot tea, egg roll, egg drop soup and steamed rice. For $1 up charge I ordered the Hot and Sour soup instead. Really good. They add pork and mini shrimp to it, bonus. Never again. The one star is for the glass of water. Greasy beyond greasy. The vegtable fried rice was dried up white rice doused with blotches of soy sauce and the vegtables were 80% celery. My guess is they use scraps of carrots they've shredded for salads instead of the nice big slices of carrots they used in the prior location. It was always loaded with big colorful vegetables. My wife and I ate there last night. I have to say it was the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. The fried rice was just plain fried rice with no flavor, the eggrolls had no flavor, the Asian dumplings had no flavor and under cooked, but worst of all we found chicken that was still very pink from being under cooked. We mentioned this and didn't even get a discount although they did offer to recook the food but after finding pink chicken it pretty much ended the evening.
