Parking can be a bear, but there are lots for a fee. It is safe and fun. Yang Chow has been there forever and they have the best fried rice and soup. They just don't serve bad food. The prices are fair and the place is comfortable and not usually crowded. It is a great place to take friends from out of town and it is kid friendly. The service is so kind and nice. They never rush you, but get your food out fast. We always get a bunch for the table and share. Their Sizzling Platter with Scallops is one of our favorited dishes and their Szechuan Chicken is so good. Their Pan Fried Dumplings and their spring rolls are a must. Have a great time in Chinatown.

It was a but busy when we got there but luckily we got seared pretty shortly after arrival. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but opted for a table for less wait time. When first looking at the menu we were shocked by the prices. I knew immediately i wanted to get the hui tou potstikers with pork and noodles. We ended up adding on the hongkong style wontons too. To my suprise the wontons arrived in a delicious and warm broth, keeping them perfectly moist and plump. The broth was so delicious even on a hot day, tasting faintly of sesame and scallion. Despite both dishes being pork they were so different and equally amazing in flavor. The pan fried potstikers which were CRISPED TO PERFECTION especially reminded me of black bean shortribs that you get from dimsum, fatty but hearty and had me wanting more and more each bite. The minced pork noodles were to no suprise, so good. Noodles tasted fresh, the sauce was umami with mushrooms and pork. While im not the biggest fan of mushrooms, i still ate it up. I feel it would be so good with some picked cabbage too to complement the saltiness. Most notable thing... THAT CHILI OIL. We probably used almost half the jar left at the table. It wasnt spicy at all, but it had this flavor that i genuinely have never tasted before. The texture of the chilli and sesame and the nutty flavor had me in awe. Enough to take two jars home... i would do it again. Servers were so quick, made sure everything we needed was at the table. Regardless of the crowd we were met with promptness and generosity. This that wonton place your girl tells you not to worry about forreal. Will be coming back despite the long drive from home.

Anything you can eat you any night you don't have to cook is usually a great night out. This evening was no exception. Our waitress was kind and accommodating. Positive energy, drinks filled and smile that felt genuine. The ambiance of the restaurant was bar like, but with adequate seating for dining in. Everything was prepared wonderfully and had tremendous flavor. I recommend trying their Hui Tou, stuffed with pork or beef, pork and leek pancakes, they also have vegetarian options. Their pork shumai was delicious, xiao long bao's soup dumplings were flavorful. Delicious. I definitely need a second trip here to try their soups and more of their variety of dumplings.

The braised pork belly was so incredibly soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and paired with the pickled carrots and cucumbers tucked into that steamed bao bun - so juicy. We also got the scallion pancakes which were crispy, chewy, and came with a soy ginger dipping sauce. The wood ear mushroom and bean curd stick salad was a nice lighter contrast to the heavier dishes too. We tried the beef noodles as well. The noodles were a bit on the tougher side, which is kind of expected with this style, but the flavors were solid overall. But do NOT sleep on dessert. I had to order the deep fried bao bun with ice cream scoop inside and it was delicious. Absolutely worth saving room for if you're looking to end your meal off with a sweet treat! Parking is easy with plenty of street parking nearby. Love that there's both indoor and outdoor seating - the patio outside is perfect for bigger groups at night, and the inside has its own aesthetic vibe that's equally great. Great service, good vibes, and delicious food. I'll be coming back!

The dining room inside is small with a handful of tables, but they also had many tables outside on their patio and alongside Reno street. I loved the photos of the family of the creators sprinkles through the dining room. Food was yummy. I had no expectations and I enjoyed it. The wings were nice and crunchy with tender chicken inside. Beef noodles were great, too. My only tiny qualm was staff, tho helpful, all looked very serious and I saw no smiles. It was a weird contrast to the charming spot.

The reception wasn't warm as the girl was on the phone and she just waved at us to get in. Food was scrumptious. Their basa fish fillet in chilli sauce had to be the best I've tasted. The fish was tender, sauce yummy, veggies fresh! It was excellently prepared. Husband and Wife beef and tripe slices was another outstanding dish. It was so good I had to order more rice to eat with it therefore happily broke my diet again. Steamd eggplant with pickled condiment on top tended to be on the salty side, it was soft and tasty. I loved it! Service was lukewarm at best. The girl performed her service in a convincingly nonchalant way. But at least I got lemon infused water refilled twice. :) Well decorated with Chinese cultural elements. Very spacious, clean and peaceful ambience. We had a lovely time and will return.

Our server was very friendly and helpful in what we should order, and we felt very well taken care of during our visit. Over the course of the evening, we ordered the peach cocktail, strawberry goat cheese jasmine cocktail, Tommy's margarita, and kumquat apricot cocktail. My favorites were the first two - you could really taste all the components in them, so complex and interesting!! The kumquat apricot was also fun and refreshing for a hot night. The margarita was fine. Full disclosure - I ordered this drink because the ingredients looked really unique and interesting but I don't like Mezcal because it usually overpowers a drink, and that is kind of what happened here (couldn't taste any guava or green tea notes), so take my opinion with a grain of salt. For food, we got the following: Course 1: - Lamb terrine (5/5 great if you like lamb, it is delightfully gamey - in a good way) - Tomato Tartare (3/5 I think I wasn't into the trout roe with this but it was fresh and nice) Course 2: - Pork sausage in crepinette (4/5 fun presentation but this didn't blow me away) - Ragu of wild mushroom with tofu gnudi (5/5 the sauce on this was so good) Course 3: - Fried chicken (5/5 perfectly fried and loved the pickles on the side) - Mapo tofu with sweetbreads (4/5 good but I've had better mapo tofu, not a big lover of organ meats but the sweetbreads were great) Course 4 (best course): - Beef cheek (5/5 so incredibly tender and flavorful) - Spiced lamb saddle (5/5 so many flavors going on and the meat was cooked to perfection) For dessert, we ordered the corn sabayon and the roasted strawberry desserts but they brought us the strawberry and melon desserts instead. We realized we didn't get the corn dessert until we were halfway through eating what we received. We mentioned it to our waiter jokingly but he actually brought us out the other dessert too, which was such lovely service. Honestly, even though we didn't order the melon dessert, it ended up being the sleeper hit because it was served with a an amazing creamy honey mousse underneath the melon shaved ice. It was really something special, and I'd highly recommend it. Overall, I'd recommend this for a nice date night or a splurge dinner with friends. It's not cheap, but the quality was definitely there both in their fare and their service. It was a great exploration of Asian fusion done in a fine dining/tasting menu-style.
