I came there with my family last weekend for the first time. We had a party of 6, and when we got there, we were seated immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food selection was amazing, there were so many options to choose from. My favorite was the general tso chicken. The price was also very affordable for 6 people. The decorations there were also superb! The LED lights made the restaurant way more vibrant. My server was very friendly and outgoing, she made sure we were being taken care of. As Chinese buffets go, this is one of the best I've had. The building is a converted old Ryan's. They have 6 self-serve food bars filled with a wide variety of options. You can load up on your favorite fried foods or choose from their whole foods options like fresh salad, fruit, and slow-simmered pot roast. They also have a Mongolian grill for freshly prepared dishes. Finish it off with a large Ryan's-sized dessert bar. Some yelpers would definitely downgrade their rating on this place because of the service. Our waiter was seen once after the initial seating. I get it. But here's my rant about that and my defense of five stars: I have NEVER eaten at a Chinese buffet and received GOOD service. It just doesn't happen. I know that going in. The first thing that impressed me was the sheer size of this place- this is the biggest dining room for a Chinese buffet that I've ever seen. I believe it used to be a Ryan's. Well, it's got a great second lease on life, because the place was packed with people and great food. I ordered beef fried rice, egg drop soup, and an order of fried crab rangoons to go. It was on a Monday around 12:30. I was so disappointed with my food. The fried rice was floating in grease, and the grease tasted very old. The fried crab rangoons were awful. They were very greasy and old. The top part which is usually crispy was soggy. The egg drop soup was good except they only gave one small bag of wonton noodles and the food was for two people. I have always loved Chinese food especially when it was the Oya House. I was listening to the girl @ the other register charging 9.78, 9 something​, but mine was 10.99 @ the register where I was. I went to the other register to ask the girl why were her totals cheaper, was it cheaper to dine in? She said yes. Mine was to go & she had 1 of the head guys step in who showed me that to go was more. Another mistake! Chinese buffets are notorious for horrible food with equally horrible side effects afterwards, and this buffet is no exception. We came in the early afternoon and after many hours driving hoping to get a quick meal. The buffet had 4 stars here on Yelp so we decided to give it a chance. Mistake mistake mistake. We have yet to find a buffet with food that has flavor and quality options and today was the same. The options were the exact options you get at every other Chinese buffet. I think all Asian buffets must have the same playbook. Rangoons with nothing more than cream cheese and sugar, egg rolls with chopped something and mystery meat, sushi that might be dangerous to eat, and desserts that literally all have the same flavor no matter what the color or topping, not to mention the ice cream with its gritty and runny texture, and you have the makings of a fun trip home or back to the hotel rushing for the lavatory. Yes this was exactly that. China buffet did have the added bonus of mysterious bug bites all over our legs causing my husbands ankle to swell up and itch on the several welt like bites he has. What caused that, who knows. I have never had that happen to any of us before and luckily we wont ever darken these doors again to experience the buffet these bugs got at our expense.
