We came here passing through on the 4th of July. It was actually our second time here as we had stayed in Ontario a few years back. What made us come back and would drive us to come back again is the value, variety, and good food quality. While it's still buffet grade food quality, the variety was great, most of the dishes were relatively fresh, and there was something to fit everybody. From fruit and veggies to grilled chicken, fried varieties, and desserts, everyone including our 2 year old left happy. Self serve ice cream was actually really good. For $14.50 per person and toddlers eating free, it can't be beat. read more

China Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Ontario, Oregon

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. To go had to ask for soy sauce and plastic forks. They forgot all in to go bag!!! Had to eat with fingers!! I have had Chinese food in Europe, South America, USA, Australia. This food is not worth eating!! read more

Love this place! I got stranded in Ontario during a road trip, and I ate here twice. Buffet costs $14.99, which is pretty decent, for unlimited time all-you-can-eat. They had maybe 40ish entree items on offer, not counting the several dozen salad options and a self-serve ice cream station with ten different flavors. Staff was very nice - the clientele, not so much. The other patrons seemed to intuit I was from out of town and kept giving me the stink-eye, though we had no interactions. If you're an English speaker, be prepared for other guests to glare at you, just a little bit. But you can't hold that against the restaurant itself - awesome place and pretty good food at a fantastic price! Only weird thing: don't use the restroom. The stall door is about HALF the size it should be - if you walk into the bathroom, you can see the face and shoulders of the person sitting on the toilet read more

terrible, food was gross and lacking in everything. floaters in the water. terrible egg rolls and spring rolls. Shrimp was very bland. dont eat here, it is ass. if I could give it a 0 star i would read more

The Food is fresh and hot, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. All around nice places to get some good Chinese food. This is my 2 time having lunch here and it's consistently good. I'd definitely recommend this as a place to visit. read more

See all

I love to come in here when I'm craving a little bit of everything. My favorite is their fried rice and noodles. There are always so many options in the food is stocked up nicely. The staff is always us as well. read more

This place is so so good everything I tried was absolutely delicious and fresh sushi was on point and the staff are amazing would absolutely recommend anyone staying in ontario oregon to absolutely trust me. I'm a very pickey eater and I will definitely be back the only thing I wish is they add sweet and sour pork and broccoli beef to there buffet 5 stars for sure read more

Two family members left this place feeling sick, so I would not recommend it. The food was not fresh. The place seems run down. There are about five different options for decent Chinese food in Ontario, so you would be better off trying them first and sticking to one you like. read more

It's not bad for an inexpensive buffet. 4 stars for the price and servers. My favorite is the chicken dishes like the Thai chicken and jalapeno chicken. The sushi is ok. read more

called them today and asked how much a to go box was they replied 7.50, not stating they weighed per pound, had I known that I wouldve chosen to sit and eat. Anyways we ended up not having enough cash I talked to the gentlemen upfront explain id pay for one now and run and grab our card from home to pay for second one, when I went in to pay for the one I still don't have enough so I went to go to my car to get the other four dollars needed she said hey snatched my money out of my hand and said you leave this here I felt so disrespected I won't be eating there again! read more

Best and freshest food I ever had from "Asia", a monthly stop now. I was there at lunch.

I would give a zero, but it isn't possible. The food was cold and did not taste good. When I brought up that the food was cold, the waitress just walked away. When I expressed to her that the food was cold while we were paying, she didn't even respond. She just gave me my amount and looked down. Definitely wouldn't recommend wasting $32.00. read more

Use to be pretty good. But today it was disgusting! Food was not fresh, vegetables were bitter and old. I pray we don't get food poisoning

You can tell the food has been out all day it is super hard and the avocado in the sushi is browning do better:(

I have eaten here 4 times. They have some pretty good dishes. The seafood delight is awesome. They are not that quick to refill it when it is empty though. Most of the dishes taste like you would generally find at a typical Chinese buffet. The service is friendly and quick. The place usually has about 10 other tables occupied when I have been there. The one thing that sets this place apart is that they have real hand dipped ice cream as part of the buffet. I have never been to a Chinese buffet that had that and it is really nice compared to that yellow soft serve most buffers carry. The price is reasonable. Around $10 for dinner not including drink, I like this place and will go again. read more

China Buffet! This is where I had my first date with my ex. It's where I experienced dinner with my former in-laws. It's the first sit-in restaurant I took my son to. I have a lot of very special memories of this place, and a lot of good things to say about it. I was told that the quality of food there used to be so much better, and I can see that. I was told they used to have crab there, and that the crab was fantastic, which yeah. Crab is awesome. But even though I didn't get to experience it in its apparent hay day, I actually really like the food, and I've made myself sick overeating there more than once. I'm also a sucker for a really good aesthetic, and China buffet has that in spades. It's beautiful in there, and the artwork and decoration almost makes you feel like you've been transported to another place. The employees there are pleasant and helpful, and i think that's important at a place like that. Really the only thing that could be improved is the feeling of the chef's passion for food. The selection feels somehow generic, and that hurts to say, because that place means so much to me. The food tastes great, but it's missing that magic that the rest of the place has. I haven't been there since COVID hit. I hope they're hanging in there, and I definitely will return when I can. read more

I use to go here as a kid. The last time we went there was a cockroach on the table crawling towards my food. I got up got our waitress to her there was a bug she looked and just walked away. Then I went to the check out told them and told them we were leaving and not paying since we didnt even eat anything. Will never go back. read more

best buffet ever, I love the food they have . The low rated comments are not true, should definitely eat at this place

Nan: what Mike said. Stuffed mussels, and sugary peanuts for dessert, yummmie. Wide variety of items. I was so full I had to skip the ice cream, dangit! Note to self: next time, eat ice cream first. Nic: Yup. Good food. Lots of it. You can have the ice cream first. I'm going back for a second helping of their sushi rolls. And the green beans. And then some shrimp with cocktail sauce. And then maybe some more sushi rolls. read more

Parked my RV in the Walmart parking lot nearby, so this is a convenient place for dinner. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Standard Asian buffet food, limited selections by some standards, but okay. I would go here again when passing through. read more

Real clean restaurant. Food was good and fresh. Priced just right when your stuck in weiser! Very large variety. Ice cream bar is nice. Friendly staff. No real complaints. It takes a lot to get a 5 star from me. I will go back! read more

Immaculate dining areas. The buffet trays were all full, fresh and diverse. Pretty standard offerings for a Chinese buffet. But I sure left satisfied! read more

Dont bother....visited on a Friday around 6 pm (peak time?)...poorly stocked buffet...dried out items...and very questionable seafood...do yourself a favor and go to taco time next door. read more

We stopped and ate at this place with the whole Family. Besides the air-conditioner inside not working very well to cool. The food was great and they had a lot of choices to chose from. I will be back. read more

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Payette-Malhuer area. All the food is good, but this place sometimes has freshness issues. Also, they tend to be slow to refill items, especially during busy times. Hichlights of the buffet are the egg rolls, teriyaki chicken skewers, pepper shrimp, peanut chicken, and the soups are very good as well. The style here is totally Cantonese. All that being said, the price is right and the food is the best you'll find this side of Boise. read more

Today me and my partner went here for lunch. We use to go often, but got tired of it. Anyways, he was trying to ask the lady for chopsticks and she said no, don't look at me! And walked away. I tried making conversation with one of the girls and they also blew me off kind of rudely. Yeah. This place is shit. I truly wouldn't recommend it. read more

Lunch was $9 with water, which isn't bad, but there wasn't a whole lot that I liked here. It's a typical Chinese buffet and I usually get a Chinese biscuit on every plate at these places, but they were too dried out and hard here. I came at a slow hour though. read more

Expected better! Don't think the health inspector would pass them. Tried 3 different chicken entrée and all were barley lukewarm. The salad was cut a day or two ago and the only salad dressing was ranch. I only discovered what that was by chance because there were no labels. read more

From out of town came in about an hour and a half before it closed. There wasn't much food at all left and when they finally brought out fresh food it was only 3 dishes. Plus the food was terrible. The ice cream was disgustingly dirty. But at least the pudding was good. read more

I've eaten here several times. This is a pretty standard all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet - nothing spectacular, but a wide variety of dishes, polite service, nice atmosphere. It's the perfect place to go if you're really hungry. Has a lot of nice sides like fresh fruit, salad-bar, sushi-bar, dessert-bar. All for about $10 per person. read more

Good buffet and a good variety of entrees, vegetables, fruit and desserts. Good flavor; I especially like the peanut chicken over white rice. Price is good too. Well worth the money. read more

Literally just walked out about 5 minutes ago. Worst "Chinese Buffet" I've ever had. Barely touched any of the 8 different foods I tried. Rubbery, cold, squishy or tough. Take your pick but that classifies everything I tried. I just paid $13 for 3 small things my wife barely choked down and refused to pay for my plate. We're headed to Panda Express, if that tells you anything. When Panda Express is better than what's supposed to be "Authentic Chinese Food" there's a problem. Enough said but I'm pretty mad. read more

Nice little place, food is decent and at a ok price. The big Budda scared my 2 year old. lol

Worst buffet I have ever been to. Giant dead cockroach in the entry area. Super dry food. The sushi was a joke. Temperature was about 85 degrees inside but they did have fans at each table, just no air conditioning. Bill for the 3 of us $40! Really disappointing. They did have eight flavors of scoop ice cream/sherbet. Those were pretty good. You really don't want to go here. read more

The food is good, but I always worry I will leave sick... Doesn't seem very clean. The adult price is 10.80 for lunch plus drink... The big complaint is the feel of a very tired and worn environment. Also they charge way too much for kids. There is no way my ten year old should be charged an adult price. Please... We could of eaten at Olive Garden for less.... read more
