Came here for the first time a year ago and it's honestly the best Mongolian grill I've ever had! So of course everytime I come back home to visit it's one of the first places I wanna go! Met a friend here for lunch. The service was fine but the floors felt sticky throughout the entire restaurant. I like picking my own bowl but the food gets very watered down during the cooking process. They continually put more water on and I didn't taste any of the garlic, lemon or sesame oil I put in my bowl. read more

I love their food! Everyone that works there is so nice and they keep it clean where you choose your ingredients. Speaking of that, they have many options of those and of sauces. We went on a Monday about 11:30 AM for lunch. They are closed on Saturday/Sundays and open on weekdays at 11:00 so things should have been clean. Prices were fair, service fair, food selection fair. The following are the reasons for the low rating: The floor was FILTHY! One would think after being closed for two days someone would have mopped it. The white rice was definitely old and chalky. Worst rice I have ever had. While cooking the meal on the round grill the "cooks" squirt SO MUCH water on it you end up with a boiled bowl of soupy tasteless mash. For the sake of not sounding biased, I will not even go into the costume that the person waiting on customers was in. Let's just say, it certainly did not help our appetite. Very sad, actually. It was our first and last visit to this establishment. We eat in restaurants about 4-5 times a week. Although things are a little limited in Ontario, this place needs to go away. read more

Hit the spot... We were road tripping this summer and were looking for good takeout to bring back to our hotel that evening. We were looking for Asian food and saw this restaurant and couldn't resist. I will say they were being extra careful in these Covid times, which we appreciated. I really dislike this place. I feel a little bad about disliking it so much because the staff there was really nice the first time I went (the second time not as much, but they were busy so whatever), but it's bad. Like if you think this is a good Mongolian place I would have to assume that it's the only Mongolian place you've ever been to. I've gotten better Mongolian at Chinese buffets where the Mongolian station is only 1/10th of the whole buffet (there's one in/near Boise that comes to mind). 1. There are apparently two schools of thought when it comes to Mongolian barbecue. Most places you keep the (thick) sauces separate and they get stirred in halfway through the cooking (if you stirred them in at the beginning they'd burn). This place (and one other I've been to, a long time ago) the sauces are very thin/watery and you fill your bowl with them so they get dumped on at the same time. The former is just a better way to do it from my experience. This place even squirts more water on your food while it's on the grill. Your food is effectively getting steamed/boiled, not sauteed, and I personally do not like boiled meat. And you just don't get that much flavor out of these thin water sauces. I filled my bowl to the brim with their sauces and the result still ended up pretty bland. 2. Their protein selection is the worst I've ever seen. Even average places usually have 2 times the selection that this place has and good places will have 3-4x as much. The place near me that I like has 18+ different proteins including things like short ribs, lamb, scallops, octopus, etc. Should also have eggs as an option. And their meats are sliced way too thin. Like paper. I'm fine with places that only have shrimp and scallops or other more expensive stuff in the evenings or on weekends but their selection is just tiny. 3. Only accompaniment is a scoop of white rice. Just lazy. Where's the fried rice? Where's the udon? Brown rice? Pasta? Cabbage for a low carb option? read more

It was good,I will go back again and try different meat.I liked how you pick out everything you want in it.The reason for 3 stars is I got the chicken and shrimp.I did not realize the shrimp had imitation crab and lobster which I dislike.That was my mistake but also I asked for extra spicy and it had no spice at all.The meats seemed weird to me,very thin odd looking but the veggies are freash and good selection of sauces read more

Ate here for the first time last week. It was awesome. The server puts your choices in the bowl size you want then tops it off with the noodles. Next comes the sauces then all is cooked on the grill. I'm ready to go back again!!! read more

fill your bowl to the top make sure to use extra lots of sauce or it can be bland asks the cooks to use extra sauce when cooking and no water food is perfect that way still wish it was a couple dollars less all and all good place 4 and a half stars read more

Good food. I am giving three stars because it's very expensive for one little bowl of food and drink. I ordered a lemonade when on menu it said $2.30 but was actually $5 It tastes okay just would be a real Mongolian grill if more options. Very friendly people. I bought coupons for here but the owner refused to accept them. She sat things on our table twice, right on top of the coupons. At the cash register she said she never saw it and doesn't accept them, even though I bought them from restaurants dot com. The $25.00 she "stole" from me is my okay to tell the world how she does business. Mediocre food, no refills and failure to follow their own business agreements means we won't be back. read more

An incredibly pleasant to be, mostly because of how fun and delicious it is. The food portions are unbeatable as well. The signage was so lightly confusing but there was a person there talking us through it all. They cook the cool right in front of you pretty much and it's really fun to see, they suggest sauce mixtures (which I followed exactly) and it turned out magnificently! I was there with a little kid (1yr old) and two other adults. It wasnet very crowded and I loved it all! If you are in Payette and don't want to go to the same old same old, this will brighten your palette and day!! Friendly staff. The concept is a "build-your-own-bowl" style. It was easy enough to piece together a hardy vegan bowl. The only problem is that all of the meals are cooked on the same wok. It's scraped clean after each use, but there is meat cooked on it. Although, in a little town like this sometimes you have to take what you can get. read more
