Super clean, lots of good stuff for hungry people and plenty of parking. Those are not what I can say about other Mongolian BBQ places. Always fresh veggies. Not something I can say about other Mongolian BBQ places. A place where everyone can make their masterpiece of a meal. My preference is the thin sliced pork, lots of crunchy veggies (celery, carrots, water chestnuts), fresh onions and such. Stay away from the mushy things like tomatoes and pineapple as they get slaughtered during the cooking process. Mushrooms and little corn cobs take up space, but don't add any flavor. Look for Jalapenos. Pile the noodles on top and add various oils of garlic, hot peppers, ginger and the house Mongolian oil. The pile is pretty bland unless you add lots of strong flavors to it. My wife and I are relatively new to the Treasure Valley, now living in Star. We came today to eat at the Greek restaurant next door, but it is closed on Sunday and Monday. We saw Mongolian of Eagle and decided to give it a try. We came on a Monday about 11:30 am. Upon entering, I liked it immediately. It was very similiar to a restaurant I really liked back when I lived in San Diego. There are booths and tables on both sides of the ingredient bar and grill. They have three sizes: small, medium and "Barbarian" (large). My wife got the medium size and I got the Barbarian. There are veggies, noodles, meats, and oils that you can choose from to make your dish. There are also toppings like cashews, peanuts, and crunchy noodles. They ask that you not press your ingredients down in order to get more in the bowl, and say they have to right to charge extra if you do. Still, we piled ours pretty high, as did others in the restaurant, and it was not a problem. Once you've made up your bowl, one of the cooks pours it out on to the circular grill and walks it in a circle until everything is fully cooked, hot and fresh. They then put it on a plate for you, and off you go to your table. It was very yummy, and healthy. Also, for weekday lunch, very reasonable. We are getting two meals out of it. I don't know how busy they are in the evenings and on weekends, but today they were not busy while we were there, and we love that. We're retired, so we try to go places during the week to avoid the crowds. This will very likely become one of our go-to places to eat. We found it accidentally, and we're so glad we did. read more

5 of us went here for lunch on a Wednesday. We arrived not long after noon and there were a couple of tables with people at them. A couple of things that weren't readily apparent are that you seat yourself and you pay after you eat based on the size of bowl that you got. We wound up asking the employee which is the only way that we found out. There are 3 sizes of bowls to choose from. Most folks that are familiar with a Mongolian grill restaurant are used to getting a smaller bowl and trying to pile the ingredients within it which was my approach. A couple of people in my group got the big bowl, but didn't fully fill it up. Other people in my group got the medium bowl and packed more items into it. I did see a sign that said to keep prices reasonable that if you piled too much into a bowl that they would charge you extra for it - but no idea what the limit would be. There was plenty of meat and veggie options to choose from and I didn't notice any quality issues on any of them. One item that someone mentioned they were expecting to see was eggs, but I don't put them in my bowl so didn't notice it. The suggested sauce amounts, per a sign hanging up, I found to be pretty good. One problem that you can run into with this type of place is not knowing exactly what sauce and ratio will be the most to your liking. I do know that one person in my group made something that he didn't particularly like, which is unfortunate. There is only a single grill that 2 employees were cooking 1 bowl at a time each on. This led to a bit of a backlog with folks having their selections made, and having to wait a few minutes for their meal to be cooked/ready. I really enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to come here again. There needs to be clearer instructions for first timers to understand how it works. read more

Honestly the best food in Eagle Idaho, I grew up in the eagle area and every birthday and special occasion was always here, the service is great and it's so fast and easy, and simple. I've noticed there are a lot of similar Mongolian restaurants in Idaho and this is hands down the best one out of them all. read more

Been here a couple times and we've been happy each time. Produce has been fresh and crunchy and lots of variety!! Good selection of veggies and meat and they restocked as pans got low. I appreciate that they were watching and we didn't have to ask them to refill anything. We were there with our group of 12 Saturday. They kept our drinks full and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Love the concept of Mongolian as everyone gets what they want. We've been to places where it is all you can eat, but this business is a one trip shot. The food at Mongolian is consistently good. You get to pick your own options so that's a benefit. Make sure to load up on as much meat as you can - it shrinks in the cooking, so If you think you have too much, you are wrong. The service is super friendly and price is great. On the down side, if you have peanut allergies there's no way you aren't going to get your food mixed with someone else's on the community grill. Also, they aren't super quick to refill drinks. Tips- load up on meat (already mentioned). You can stack your bowl as high as you can, like literally way above the top so use your Jenga skills here. The expensive ingredients are down at the end of the line so don't load your bowl with a bunch of garbage vegetables (see meat recommendation above). Tried this place after we found out our sushi place was closed on Sundays. It's a bit smaller place which is fine by us. You stack your food (not too high) on the size bowl you desire. The employees always greet me and they remember what I do for a living and (one time they asked what I do for a living) they usually ask about how my work is going. The facility may lack flash or extravagance but it is clean and well maintained. This is a locally owned family business. You basically fill your bowl as full as you'd like with anything they have in their food bar. I don't eat wheat but they were able to make my meal with rice and it was delicious. I'm new to the area and adore Mongolian! Very good variety of ingredients. Good value for the money - medium plate of proteins, veggies, noodles and steamed rice in a cup for 8.55. I do prefer my stuff cooked longer than they did. They also used water to help steam/cook the food, which in fact, watered down their weak flavored sauces. This restaurant I give a 5 Star review! There were 4 of us in our party. The experience in itself was fun and entertaining. You start out by grabbing a bowl (There are 3 to choose from - small , medium or large) and proceed to a buffet line counter. There are a lot of varieties of food to choose from. They offer chicken, pork, ham and beef for your protein. We loved all the fresh vegetables and fruit as well. Before we handed our bowls to the cooks, we added on our sauces. They had a huge variety of sauces to choose from. The cooks are friendly and accommodating - cooking your meal right in front of you on a circular stir-fry grill. It was amazing to watch your food transfer from raw fruits, vegetables and cold protein to a beautiful cooked dish. When we sat down we had a bowl of rice waiting for us at the table. The waiters were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. No one leaves this place hungry. The price is right as we left this restaurant paying under $30.00 for this satisfying and yummy dinner! If you've ever been to a Mongolian BBQ before, they are pretty much all the same. However, there are a few notable exceptions at this location. This is the cleanest MB I've ever seen. The owner and his family are VERY hospitable and obviously take pride in their restaurant. You could eat off the floor here. The vegetables are always fresh and the line is kept clean. There is a fridge that contains a good selection of juices and sodas (non-fountain stuff) such as Snapple Apple and GREEN RIVER IN THE BOTTLE!! You don't see those around much. If you're a MB fan, you need to eat here. If you have a bad meal here, it's probably your own fault as you put it together. read more

One room for improvement would be a "recipe" board I've seen in some Mongolian places with amounts and ingredients for different types of sauces. They use deep dish bowls for you to load up, and then they use the same deep dish bowls (clean ones) to put your cooked meal in. Every other place used a wider, flatter bowl. It makes it so much easier to eat, and the food cools down enough so that you can actually enjoy it! But not this place. Anyway, just something to note that I didn't like. Also, they don't automatically give you straws with your drinks. You have to ask for them. It just made me think they are scrimping. 5-stars on the food, 3 stars on everything else.
